Abstract
A study was made of the dependence of acoustic emission, formed during static deformation of lead alloys, on the stages of strain hardening. An essential change in the informative characteristics of acoustic emission signals during the change in the stages of strain hardening, reflecting the evolution of the physical mechanisms of deformation during loading ofthe material, is established. Quantitative analysis of the effect of stages on acoustic emission signals was carried out using the principal component method.
