Abstract
The aim of the paper is to investigate the educational potential of contemporary music and ways of using it, especially in the scope of stimulating children’s creative activity. The author presents the condition of Polish contemporary music for children and opportunities to experience this music by children outside the school system. Six interviews with composers and pedagogues were carried out and the offer of such events in Poland was analyzed.
