Abstract

Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin ratkaisuja pien- ja kerrostalojen ulkoseinien lämmöneristystason parantamiseksi. Tutkimuskohteina olivat ohutrappaustekniikka sekä kaksi erilaista kevyttä julkisivuelementtiä. Tutkituilla rakennevaihtoehdoilla on mahdollista toteuttaa eristysrakenteita, joiden lämmönläpäisykertoimet ovat 0,2 - 0,15 W/m2K. Ohutrappaustekniikka soveltuu käytettäväksi sekä uudisrakennuksissa että korjausrakentamisessa. Perinteiseen kolmikerrosrappaukseen verrattuna ohutrappaus on 20 - 30 % edullisempi vaihtoehto. Kevyessä betonielementissä sandwich-elementin betoninen sisäkuori on korvattu rakennuslevyllä. Rakenteen lämmöneristyspaksuutta voidaan siten kasvattaa sandwich-elementtiin nähden kokonaispaksuutta kuitenkaan kasvattamatta. Kevyt sandwich-elementti perustuu rakenteeseen kehitettyyn mineraalivillaytimeen, jonka pintaan liimataan pintamateriaali. Elementin etuna on yhtenäinen eristyskerros, johon voidaan tarvittaessa upottaa puu- tai teräsrunko. Yksikerroksisissa pientaloissa elementti voi toimia myös kantavana. Lisäksi selvitettiin betonisten kuorirakenteiden tuulettamisen lämpö- ja kosteusteknistä merkitystä. Kuorielementtirakenteiden tuulettamisella voidaan merkittävästi pienentää ulkokuoren kosteutta ja nopeuttaa rakennuskosteuden kuivumista.
