Protective elements on means of payments and money counterfeiting

Abstract

The bachelor thesis "Protective elements of currency and counterfeiting" deals with protective elements and counterfeiting. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the protective elements of Czech banknotes and euro banknotes and the counterfeiting itself. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the history of money, money and its functions. The individual protective elements, the degrees of counterfeiting and the techniques of counterfeiting are presented in detail. The practical part focuses on statistical data, which are still clearly processed in tables and graphs, from which it is possible to read, for example, the number of seized counterfeits on our territory. The thesis concludes with a description of counterfeiting in practice, with stories of counterfeiting from the past as well as from the present.
