Abstract

Le cartoon of the week est un projet de valorisation de la caricature de presse en bibliothèque universitaire, transposable dans d’autres lieux proposant de la presse en prêt ou à lire sur place. Les étudiants et lecteurs sont invités par un bibliothécaire à choisir parmi les journaux disponibles de la bibliothèque, la caricature qui leur plaît ou les interpelle le plus. Une fois sélectionnée, la caricature est photocopiée, insérée au centre d’un présentoir appelé le Cartoon of the week. Le dessin de presse est exposé pendant une semaine, avec la légende, préparée par l’étudiant et la bibliothécaire. Cette activité propose à nos lecteurs, usagers, de prendre un temps de réflexion sur l’actualité de la semaine. Elle incite à poser un regard critique ou amusé sur l’actualité, à citer l’auteur. Elle valorise le dessin de presse en l’exposant durant une semaine. Le Cartoon of the week, présentoir à caricature est bien visible et disposé dans l’espace presse. Avec un jeu de couleur et de transparence, ce présentoir fabriqué en plexiglass avec une imprimante 3d, répond à deux besoins : créer un espace de valorisation pour un petit média « le dessin de presse » et aussi répond à l’envie de créer un présentoir pratique et esthétique. Il est facilement maniable, se referme avec des aimants et repose sur deux pieds en bois. Ci-joint : le mémento de l’activité du choix d’une caricature en Bibliothèque Et le dossier zippé comporte : - la notice de fabrication du support « cartoon of the week » - les fichiers dxf pour la réalisation du support en plexiglass
