Welcome to the 20th NSC Newsletter We hope that this 20th issue finds you all safe and well. Firstly, thank you once again to everyone who has contributed to this bumper issue of news and updates from the NSC Community and beyond. A welcome from the Coordination Team (p2)highlights NSC developments including forthcoming events, the special remits of the Task Forces, and the NSC’s enhanced communications with the EC. A new development is the creation of the NanoHub where all projects can archive their educational resources and search for more. The Project News section has been populated with updates from a range of NSC initiatives, including updates from the NMBP-13 Risk Governance projects and forthcoming events. Meanwhile, NanoCommons reports on two recent hackathons, that have proved highly engaging. Among our new projects are four Safety-by-Design initiatives that have a clear individual focus yet will closely collaborate on their strategies and will be represented by Andrew Nelson, as chair of the NSC WG E – Innovation & Safer by Design. In other news, SweNanoSafe announces a key workshop and report, followed by a report from BIORIMA on Safe-by-design of fabricated nano-enabled replacement hip joints, with links to the latest Project News. A number of publications feature in this issue: note the call for papers for a Special Issue of Green Nanotechnology. Then following announcements of jobs and partnership opportunities, our Events section will inform you about the latest arrangements in the move from live to online workshops and conferences. As always, we hope you find articles of interest here and look forward to your next submissions.
