This is the challenge design document for the "Intracranial Aneurysm Detection and Segmentation Challenge", accepted for MICCAI 2020. Introduction Intracerebral aneurysms are found in 3% of the general population, and some groups have a higher risk. If an aneurysm ruptures it causes bleeding in the brain (subarachnoid haemorrhage) [1]. Early detection of intracranial aneurysms, as well as accurate measurement and assessment of shape, is important in clinical routine. This enables careful monitoring of the growth and rupture risk of aneurysms to allow informed treatment decisions to be made [2].
