Abstract

La crescente attenzione da parte dei consumatori verso i prodotti naturali ha reso nuovamente interessante la coltivazione dell'Iris per la produzioni di estratti dalle sue radici, da utilizzare nel campo della cosmesi. L'Iris è una pianta rustica e semplice da coltivare. E' adatta alla consociazione con gli olivi e la sua coltivazione offre possibilità di migliore sfruttamento dei terreni in zone collinari e non adatte ad altre colture.
