Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou udržitelností v podnikání. Hlavním cílem práce bylo teoretické vymezení základních pojmů spojených s udržitelností v podnikání a následné provedení analýzy vybrané společnosti a jejího přístupu k udržitelnosti. Teoretická část je rozdělena na dvě hlavní kapitoly, které jsou následně rozděleny na jednotlivé subkapitoly. Cílem první kapitoly je definování pojmu udržitelnost v podnikání a pojmů spojených s touto problematikou. V druhé kapitole je popsán pojem společenská odpovědnost firem neboli CSR. Praktická část obsahuje třetí kapitolu, ve která je zkoumán odpovědný přístup společnosti VODÁRNA PLZEŇ a.s. Na začátku třetí kapitoly je vybraná společnost představena, a po jejím představení následuje analýza odpovědného přístupu společnosti. Analýza je provedena ve třech základních oblastech, kterými je oblast sociální, environmentální a ekonomická. Praktická část je ukončena zhodnocením závěrů z provedené analýzy. Obhájeno The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sustainability in business. The main objective of the thesis was to theoretically define the basic concepts related to sustainability in business and then to analyze the selected company and its approach to sustainability. The theoretical part is divided into two main chapters, which are subsequently divided into individual subchapters. The aim of the first chapter is to define the concept of sustainability in business and the concepts associated with this issue. The second chapter describes the concept of corporate social responsibility or CSR. The practical part includes the third chapter, which examines the responsible approach of VODÁRNA PLZEŇ a.s. At the beginning of the third chapter, the selected company is introduced, followed by an analysis of the company's responsible approach. The analysis is carried out in three basic areas, which are social, environmental, and economic. The practical part ends with an evaluation of the conclusions of the analysis.
