Abstract

La siguiente tesis de grado se encuadra dentro del área Educacional de la Psicología y es un estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, de diseño descriptivo y correlacional. El objetivo de esta investigación consiste en conocer la incidencia del acompañamiento educativo brindado por la Fundación Anpuy en la motivación académica de los estudiantes en 1° año del Colegio Secundario Juana Manuela Gorriti de la ciudad de Salta. Se trabajó con una muestra de 31 estudiantes con edades entre 12 y 15 años, de 1° año del Colegio Secundario Juana Manuela Gorriti. Del cual, un grupo de estudiantes están acompañados por la Fundación Anpuy, y un grupo constituido por estudiantes de igual nivel socioeconómico, que se encuentran en el mismo curso, pero que no reciben el acompañamiento brindado por Fundación. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó un registro de datos sociodemográficos con el fin de recabar información útil y objetiva sobre la población de estudio y así obtener mayor información sobre los estudiantes, su situación familiar y económica. Y luego se administró la Escala de Motivación Académica (EMA), un inventario que busca a través de sus preguntas mostrar los diversos motivantes que tiene un estudiante para estudiar. Los resultados obtenidos por la prueba permitieron concluir que sí existen diferencias significativas en la motivación académica de los estudiantes con acompañamiento educativo brindado por la Fundación Anpuy y la motivación académica de los estudiantes sin dicho acompañamiento. No obstante, no se puede señalar que la variable independiente acompañamiento educativo brindado por Fundación Anpuy incide positivamente en la motivación académica de los estudiantes. The following degree thesis is framed within the Educational area of Psychology and is a quantitative, non-experimental study of descriptive and correlational design. The objective of this research is to find out the impact of the educational support provided by Fundación Anpuy on the academic motivation of the 1st year students of the Juana Manuela Gorriti High School in the city of Salta. We worked with a sample of 31 students between the ages of 12 and 15, from the 1st year of the Juana Manuela Gorriti High School. Of which, a group of students are accompanied by Fundación Anpuy, and a group made up of students of the same socioeconomic level, who are in the same course, but who do not receive the support provided by the Foundation. For data collection, a sociodemographic data record was used in order to collect useful and objective information about the study population and thus obtain more information about the students, their family and economic situation. And then the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) was administered, an inventory that seeks through its questions to show the various motivations that a student has to study. The results obtained by the test allowed concluding that there are significant differences in the academic motivation of students with educational support provided by Fundación Anpuy and the academic motivation of students without such support. However, it cannot be pointed out that the independent variable educational support provided by Fundación Anpuy positively affects the academic motivation of students.
