Estrategias Sanitarias Implementas por Los Indígenas Misak, durante la Pandemia de la Covid-19

Abstract

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresentado ao Instituto Latino-Americano de Arte, Cultura e História da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana, como requisito parcial à obtenção do título de Bacharel em Antropologia – Diversidade Cultural Latino-Americana. Este trabajo discute la emergencia sanitaria que ocasionó la pandemia de la COVID-19 en Colombia, específicamente en el pueblo indígena Misak del Resguardo de Guambía en Silvia-Cauca, privilegiando el diálogo entre la medicina convencional y la medicina propia, mostrando la interculturalidad de ambas y las influencias biomédicas ejercidas por el Gobierno nacional. Fue realizada una investigación de campo por medio de observación participante y entrevistas, durante los meses de enero y marzo del 2022, complementada por revisión documental y bibliográfica de normativas sanitarias promulgadas por las entidades sanitarias colombianas durante el periodo pandémico. El pueblo Misak, a partir de un enfoque especial en las diversas problemáticas que causó la llegada del virus a su territorio, actuó de forma inmediata implementando protocolos y planes de estratégicos para contrarrestar los efectos de esta pandemia. Con los datos levantados en la actividad de campo, se constató evidencia de que las estrategias más fuertes y con mejor resultado frente a los contagios y prevención del virus fueron la utilización de la medicina propia y etnobotánica. Efectivamente, en el Resguardo se elaboraron medicamentos, junto a otros productos para el cuidado y prevención, todos a base de plantas medicinales, contra la sintomatología de la enfermedad, resultados también generados por el aislamiento o cuarentena obligatoria de todo el territorio.
