Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh sindrom pernapasan akut coronavirus 2 (Sars-CoV-2) dengan gejala umum batuk, demam, kelelahan, kehilangan rasa atau bau dan sakit tenggorokan. Kasus Covid-19 masih tinggi di Indonesia dan salah satu upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus yang paling efektif yaitu dengan pemberian vaksinasi Covid-19. Vaksinasi Covid-19 merupakan program pemerintah dengan sasaran dari usia anak sampai lansia. Angka cakupan vaksinasi Covid-19 masih rendah. Salah satu penyebab adalah masih rendah tingkat pengetahuan warga tentang manfaat vaksinasi Covid-19. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan warga tentang manfaat vaksinasi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab, kuis, pre dan postes dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pengetahuan warga sebelum edukasi tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 dengan kategori cukup sebanyak 37.5%, dan pengetahuan warga setelah dilakukan edukasi dengan kategori baik sebesar 46%. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah kegiatan berjalan baik dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 dan diperlukan monitoring keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam vaksinasi Covid-19 secara berkala.
