Fonds audiovisuel du programme "ESCoM-AAR" (Equipe Sémiotique Cognitive et nouveaux Médias - Archives Audiovisuelles de la Recherche. Paris, France, 2000 - 2016).; Au cours de cet entretien, Sandrine Pivaty, directrice de communication, invite Dominique Rolland à nous parler de son parcours intellectuel hors du commun. A partir de deux rencontres importantes avec les ethnologues Georges Condominas et Paul Ottino, de ses expériences bouleversantes en Polynésie française puis dans le sud-est de Madagascar, où elle a vécu trois ans durant une période de troubles politiques, et de l’histoire de son ascendance vietnamienne, Dominique Rolland a réalisé passionnément ses travaux de recherches sur le thème du métissage. Comment est-elle devenue anthropologue ? Quand et comment est apparu le thème du métissage dans sa recherche ? Quelle est la réalité des métis à l’époque postcoloniale en Indochine ?
