Ρετρό βιντεοπαιχνίδια εφαρμοσμένα σε εικονικά περιβάλλοντα εμβυθίσης

Abstract

Στo πρώτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφονται τα σημαντικότερα βιντεοπαιχνίδια, και γίνεται μια ιστορική ανάδρομη στα παλιά παιχνίδια. Στο επόμενο κεφαλαίο, αναφέρονται μερικοί από τους λόγους που τα παιχνίδια αλλάζουν τρόπο αλληλεπίδρασης με τον χρήστη και γιατί σήμερα τα απλά, τείνουν να υπερτερούν έναντι των περίπλοκων παιχνιδιών. Επίσης σημειώνονται αξιόλογες προσπάθειες επανασχεδιασμού του παιχνιδιού Pac man. Στην συνέχεια γίνεται μια ιστορική αναδρομή στην τεχνολογία της εικονικής πραγματικότητας, και μελετώνται συστήματα εικονικής πραγματικότητας σε συνδυασμό με τα σύγχρονα παιχνίδια. Κατά παρόμοιο τρόπο και το επόμενο κεφάλαιο, κάνει μια αναδρομή στις διαδραστικές τεχνολογίες κυρίως των βιντεοπαιχνιδιών και των arcade, και για τις μελλοντικές τους προοπτικές. Παρακάτω περιγράφονται τα στάδια ανάπτυξης του παιχνιδιού που αναπτύχθηκε για την μελέτη αυτή και στην συνέχεια η διαδικασία αξιολόγησης με τα συμπεράσματα της. Τέλος βρίσκονται τα τελικά συμπεράσματα και τα παραρτήματα, τα οποία περιέχουν το ερωτηματολόγιο που συμπληρώθηκε κατά την αξιολόγηση, το εξώφυλλο της θήκης του παιχνιδιού καθώς και τα περιεχόμενα του δίσκου που παραδόθηκε μαζί με την πτυχιακής.
