    TRIGGER project is targeted to “strengthening of relations between HEIs and the wider economic and social environment” as a multi-country project within one single region –Central Asia, involving three countries (Kazakhstan; Uzbekistan; Tajikistan) from this region. The main problems in these countries are connected especially to low economic growth represented by slow improvement of economics performance; country inequalities; low level of competitiveness and innovation. Main aim of TRIGGGER project is to contribute to economics growth through creating the favourable conditions for better employability of graduates in Central Asia countries. It will be reached through support of HEI preparedness for future challenges especially related to the entrepreneurial and innovative nature of their higher education environment; enhancement of Entrepreneurship Education and Skills Development; establishment/enhancement the Careers, Employability and Enterprise Services; strengthening the relations outside HEIs. TRIGGER is built on two EC initiatives: HEInnovate and EntreComp and consists of six WPs focused on Assessment of the HEI preparedness for future challenges; Enhancing Entrepreneurship Education and Skills Development; Establishment/Enhancement of the Careers, Employability and Enterprise Services; Quality Assurance and Evaluation and Dissemination & Exploitation & Sustainability.The project consortium consists of 11 HEIs from three Central Asia countries, 3 HEIs from three EU countries, one SME and one non-profit organization from the EU.TRIGGER will have significant impact on Central Asia countries especially on HEI teachers, students; administrators; top management; relevant businesses and R&D institutions, other universities; decision makers; educational policy makers at national, regional and community level and representatives of regional and local authorities dealing with education.

    The primary goal of GREENDT is to empower staff and students in Uzbekistan Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the field of Environmental Engineering (EE) by transferring knowledge from European Union (EU) HEIs. This initiative aligns with the European Commission Green Deal priority, aiming for a sustainable transition in environmental protection. The central focus is on enhancing the competencies and skills of Uzbekistan HEI students through the development of an innovative education program (Master Degree). This program aims to foster the exchange of best practices, collaboration between Uzbekistan and European HEIs in EE, and boost students' entrepreneurship, thereby improving their employability through innovation.GREENDT also intends to contribute to societal development by establishing an EE Society. This society will facilitate accessible information, laboratories, and services through a collaborative network involving municipalities, industries, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. The goal is to encourage the creation of specialized companies and provide a platform for sharing knowledge and resources.Additionally, GREENDT addresses the EE Nexus to support the modernization of key environmental players, making them more competitive and innovative. This approach ensures a sustainable transition, promotes green jobs, and contributes to building a climate-neutral society with a gender-transformative perspective.The structure of GREENDT involves a multi-actor setting, incorporating pivotal levers for change: higher education institutions and governance (policy).The proposed actions under the GREENDT project include: Implementation of five EE Master Degrees; Establishment of five EE laboratories to support Master Degrees' research activities and provide services to industries and civil society; Development of an e-learning platform offering free information, online courses, and dedicated content to support Master Degrees.

    The main aim of the project is to support the modernisation of the leather and leather products industry in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, through the establishment of four Leather Products Centres (two in Uzbekistan and two in Kazakhstan) in order to address the identified need for strengthening and enhancement of modernisation, innovation and competitiveness of the Leather Sector in the two countries. Through the creation of these centres and their operation, the leather sector in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be offered access to business services, such as quality testing, product certification, specialised training, fashion trends, modern design, production organization, and funding opportunities. The professionals, with a special focus on women, and students of the subject will improve their qualifications and skills, which will in turn upgrade the capabilities of the leather and leather manufacturing companies.

    The project is aimed at solving the problem of the lack of qualified highly specialized professionals in the installation, management, exploitation, and maintenance of solar energy systems and their components in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main objective of the project is to develop educational programs and curricula for training bachelors in solar energy engineering. The general outputs of the project are: - development of improved training standards, educational programs, curricula for bachelor courses and didactic materials, training materials for teaching in the field of solar energy engineering, as well as the maintenance and exploitation of solar energy systems;- development of training courses for training, advanced training and retraining of relevant specialists in solar energy;- development of training and co-working center for students.Expected results of the project:- 3 ECTS-accredited bachelor programs and curricula on solar energy systems;- 4 partner HEIs' existing programs will be updated; - 12 newly developed courses for the bachelor program (72 ECTS);- 1 developed web platform for the content of educational materials;- 7 innovative laboratory rooms;The implementation of the DEBSEUz project with the support and taking into account the positive experience of European partners will successfully solve the enormous tasks of the state to ensure the normal energy consumption of future generations of Uzbekistan for many years to come.At the same time, it will contribute to a significant rise in higher education to prepare engineers in the solar energy systems of the country at the European level.

    TEX4FUTURE aims at updating and modernizing capacities and services offered by HEIs in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan related to the light industry (mainly textile and clothing sectors) of these countries, by transferring knowledge, experience, competencies and good practices related to the needs of the sector. The needs were primarily elicited through the analysis of the sectors in both countries, performed by the local partners, they were verified through a preliminary analysis performed in advance in both countries. The textile and clothing sectors have a different emphasis in the two countries, as it is a very important sector for Uzbekistan but not so much currently in Kazakhstan, but they share common problems and have common objectives. Such as: Increase of technical and technological level; Ensuring production efficiency; Competitiveness and high technology products; Export growth; Active investment and innovation activities; Deepening sectoral cooperation.To accomplish these objectives the support for the creation of 4 Textile Centres in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is foreseen, that will operate with an emphasis on modern development in the sector; development, testing and adaptation of innovative curricula addressing also current trends in the sector such as circular economy, new materials, etc; upskilling textile industry staff; introducing practical training schemes for students such as study of real-life cases in business and industry; assistance in developing new textile products and implement new modern processing technologies; exchanges of students, researchers, teaching staff and enterprise staff for a limited period; involving enterprises into teaching and research; encourage the development of strategies and tools for the internationalisation of HEIs in both countries; contribute on the upskilling and professional development of academic and administrative staff, for the initial training of teachers and continuous career development.
