    Pikkola and Reyes Catolicos Schools have worked together in a fruitful students’ exchange and like working together. So, the idea of going a step further came naturally: we are applying for this KA229 in a two year’s Project to deepen in our mutual knowledge and to know school strategies operating at a transnational level. The Project Learning Together, Living Together is a new impulse to our relationship by turning it into a permanent educational collaboration. In the future, we would like to expand the network with more partners.Both partners are geographically far away, but share educational principles: a concern for our students' well being and personal development, keeping School Plans to assist the weakest and defenseless. Pikkola School is involved in the KiVa antibullying programme and has groups of Student Tutors and Digital Agents. Reyes Catolicos School has Older brothers, Peer student Helpers and Mediator students as well as Individual Tutor teachers Plans. Society changes rapidly, and so do our students' routines, their social habits, especially with the use of Internet and social media. Today, harmful bullying behavior includes posting rumors, threats, sexual remarks, etc. Our Plans need to stay updated to detect cases of bullying, conflicts or risks. We feel that an international project with a strong School partner with similar challenges is the best option for effective improvement, learning from their expertise and including new procedures to improve our present Programmes. Besides, we feel that we both lack strategies to detect and prevent cyberbullying, issue suggested by our students, and not only relevant, but necessary to tackle. This project will help us address it together. Goals: Firstly, learning from each other's good practices, comparing Programmes and results, observing how the programmes work. First through eTwinning/ webinars, and then with a short-term exchange at the Spanish school, we will enrich our own plans by adding what has proved useful. Secondly, we want to produce together a new Peaceful Coexistence Programme addressing internet risks. First with eTwinning/ webinars and then with a short term exchange at the Finnish school we want to develop together innovative methods to prevent and tackle cyberbullying.The students participating in the Peaceful Coexistence Plans are the main actors and they will be, obviously, involved. They are twenty 13-17 year olds from each school, with 2 teachers. They will carry out the planned online and LTT activities, working in teams researching and gathering opinions on the current Plans, participating in creative activities (inverviews, debates, short films, magazines, radio clips) to find out how to improve their efficacy and impact, and exploring the issue of cyberbullying. The teachers involved in the Programmes will coach them. These activities' results will be used to reflect, self evaluate and improve our Programmes.These are the core goals, but there are lots of sub-targets, equally important, in this Project: Multilingualism, internationalization, equity and inclusion, especially of those disadvantaged, bullied or at risk, the empowerment of pupils and their ability to participate in society, the acquisition of key competences and basic skills, and the reinforcement of common European values: freedom, participation, respect, tolerance. Students will know a different country and culture, becoming aware of the European diversity and getting beyond stereotypes. They will feel more mature and responsible citizens. Both schools will evolve as organizations, ensuring social inclusion and equity through a safe school environment, dealing with new, online threats. We will build up our capacity for cross-border cooperation and strengthen our European dimension. The impact will be both personal and institutional. Personal for the students' development, and institutional by improving our Peaceful Coexistence Plans and creating a new one for cyberbullying. The project will have a long term impact since it will reinforce a key point: a school must prepare students to live “socially”. Our policies can be improved, and the impact will be extensive and help the whole communities. We are not dealing with subjects but with invisible cross curricular aspects that affect our students' wellbeing and future. Results will be disseminated to the whole educational communities, and to everybody through a website. eTwinning will be used for online and international audiences. The potential benefits in the long term will be the internationalization of schools, adding the European Dimension to our Peaceful Coexistence Plans and transforming our relationship in a long term cooperation. At the same time, exchanging ideas and learning from each other's good practices will improve our Plans, and students and teachers will learn from it. It will be a good starting point for cyberbullying prevention.

    Europe is a continent formed by urban and rural areas. Rural areas tend to disappear overtime and only few young people are willing to stay and work in agriculture and stockbreeding. However, living in a rural area gives the citizens the opportunity to be close to nature in general. This involves being more acquainted with agricultural work and stockbreeding since families of the area may live on them. At the same time students in rural areas are often isolated and is difficult for them to have access to varied educative and cultural opportunities . With this context, young people usually feel unmotivated and willing to abandon their hometowns and family businesses. Rural areas need active, participative , committed and innovative youth who add value to the community and guarantee a long-term future to these areas.Our project aims at:a) Raising values such as entrepreneurship, teamwork ,peer cooperation and cooperative learning, which are crucial for the future of rural areas and to raise employability among young people.b)Appreciating the environment and quality of life of rural areas and add value to the traditional sectors in which they can make a living on. c) Getting exposed to new, innovative work methods and put them into practice as well as commiting themselves to enviromentally-friendly practices This project embraces the philosophy of learning by doing by job shadowing other work practices related to agriculture,stockbreeding and gardening.In this methology learning is relevant and practical, and encourages active learning, hands-on projects and cooperation between students from rural communities facing similar challenges. Three different countries -Spain, Greece and Portugal- will take part in this project and twenty-one students of basic vocational training in gardening and agriculture and stockbreeding vocational formation will have the opportunity to know other work practices in Europe by different exchanges among these three countries. These exchanges will happen after a deep work on the matter we are dealing: Rural abandonment and ways to battle it.These international experiences will definitely broaden their horizons. Students will get inspired and motivated by other practices and shared knowledge and therefore will definitely make an impact on their community, supporting the future of these areas and fighting isolation through international networks and collaboration.We believe that the world is interconnected and this way, students can witness other realities, learn together, take example of other good practices, take action and transmit their knowledge to the rest of the world.

In addition to promoting the need for the use of good eating habits offered by our sustainable environments.<< Objectives >>We have based our objectives on the strategic framework of European cooperation in education andtraining, including actions such as:- boost creativity and innovation, including full adoption of the digital area. Our activities and those included in our student exchanges are planned to channel this objective to basic purposes of our project.- Promote inclusion, equality and non-discrimination towards mutual understanding. All students will beable to be part of the same community and develop a sense of belonging and be better prepared to life in the community as children and adults.- promote lifelong learning and mobility with an active exchange of information and experiences. All of this is not only addressed to students, but also to teachers and families, where through planned workshops and activities improve the knowledge of the entire community. Likewise, teachers will have the possibility to develop improvement in the design of lessons and study new plans to teach students. On the other hand, exchanges provide a unique experience for children that broadens their minds and their knowledge of other cultures and focuses on the skills and confidence to be effective advocates for themselves and others.Finally, we hope to improve the quality of education with activities based on key competences for all ages (11 - 15) and their skills.<< Implementation >>Our activities include Project logos, e-magazines, Video product, articles, e-twinning platform, public events (visiting natural environment and sustainable resources) in each school community, social media and organizational websites (EU Dissemination Platform and EST). The project is likely to have a substantial positive impact on the participants. Pupils will increase basic skills in an enjoyable way, improve foreign language skills, develop skills such as advanced IT competence, create challenging activities, understand better cultural and linguistic diversity and increase their satisfaction in their daily life. Teachers will strengthen their professional profile, share experiences, learn to use appropriate tools to evaluate the results, coordinate innovative projects and learn ICT devices. The organizations will improve their profile and enhance their international dimension and improve their school policy plan.<< Results >>We expect that the competences of the basic skills will improve, that students will learn how to collaborate, finding it enriching. We will focus on expressing feelings and expressive activities, in feeling free to share ideas, in stimulating creativity. Students will be helped to understand that healthy activity and good behavior in eating habits in a sustainable environment are essential for the overall development of a person. In addition, we want to achieve as results of our collaboration project the ability to express oneself in an environment more globalized, starting from the near to reach the furthest, through different natural environments. We will also develop the rest of the areas of knowledge through music, the arts, popular games as an aid to the development of the key of competences that the European framework marks us. Providing writing and reading in foreing language and native language, science, technology, digital tools and learning to respect others as European citizens.For teachers through this exercise of European cooperation we want to increase confidence in the foreign language, the use of technology within the daily methodological routine and increase professional confidence in the development of good practices.Finally, we want to form larger school communities connected to each other through the principle of the European dimension, bringing them closer to share the desire to belong to a large group and assuming the values ​​of respect and trust in cooperative work as citizens.

    "Education has a duty to promote equality, collaboration, cooperation and creativity in order to reach unity and joy in the classroom and in all school activities. In our days where an increasing migration of people throughout Europe takes place, it is important that students and their parents acquire knowledge and understanding ( historical, cultural, geographical)of other countries. This knowledge enables them to appreciate other cultures, break down prejudice, promote Europe as a multicultural society and as an enrichment for everybody. Europe has always been a crossroad where countries, religions and cultures meet and move on creating new horizons for the people. Its cardinal points include eastern and western influences but also interaction between the purely European peoples. These things are obvious in architecture, painting and fine arts, music, even food and celebration traditions and because of that these were our main aims. The project ""The cultural mosaic of Europe. Influences and cross-influences in European civilization"" examined the origins of influences, their creative assimilation, and their imprinting in what we call common European inheritage. Project was divided in 5 parts: history, architecture and art, music, dance, food and festivities.Our project was linked to the prudent European objectives developed in the strategic framework of European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020). Based on the items of this framework, the project included actions on:- Enhancing creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, which are crucial aspects integrated into our project. Thus our short-term exchange of groups of students were designed to link this broad objective to the specific aims of our project.- Promoting justice, equality, social cohesion and active citizenship. - Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality; - Improving the quality of education. All our activities, including those in the short-term exchange of students, were designed to be based on the acquisition of key competences for all age ranges (11 - 16) and abilities. The competences of the basic skills improved, students learnt how to collaborate, finding it enriching. We focused on expressing feelings and expressive activities, in feeling free to share ideas, in stimulating creativity. Students learnt how to use music to learn foreign languages, express themselves in art, music, writing, composing, digital tools and learn how to respect each other as a European citizen.Our activities included project logos, emagazines, Video product, articles, e-twinning project, public events (Music, Art, Drama) in each school community, project blog. From the evaluation we noticed that the project had a substantial positive impact on the participants. Pupils increased basic skills in an enjoyable way, improved foreign language skills, developed skills such as advanced IT competence, created challenging activities, understood better cultural and linguistic diversity and increased their and satisfaction in their daily life. Teachers strengthened their professional profile, shared experiences, learnt to use appropriate tools to evaluate the results, coordinated innovative projects and learnt ICT devices. The organizations improved their profile and enhanced their international dimension, improved their school policy plan.In the project students from 11 to 16 were involved, about 500 total. In the mobilities 112 students and 43 teachers were involved. We spreaded out the project results outside the school community, to Parents' Association, to local school council and the regional school supporting services. At a National and European level, the target audience were press and media and other relevant stakeholders."

    This Project intends to use the history and historical places as a tool to increase scholastic success, entreprenurship , destroy prejudices,discover the businees opportunities with cultural heritage.The project partners are 6 schools from Italy,Turkey,Portugal,and Spain, all of them secondary school.The project is addressed to students from 13 to 16 years old.190 student mobility is planned for 2 years.Student exchanges and other activities in the project will also enhance an understanding toward diverse perspectives on European citizenship and help our students to develop an appreciation of the European cultural diversity and an empathy for different cultures.Our objectives are to:- raise interest on cultural heritage, particularly in Europe.- create awareness in the local to preserve the cultural heritages.- put into practice new methodological tools based on outdoor activities on historical and cultural resources with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach.- promote peer-learning,creativity and entrepreneurship towards the promotion and valuation of historical places and cultural heritage.-discover others past and create an emphatic feeling both at schools and in the local - gain historical thinking skills- raise attention towards Middle Age in Europa, Roman Empire, the first steps of Christianity those are related tto curriculum-increase scores (in the exams) towards history,cultural heritages, and read about historyP and C activies are based on a project based learning with a multidisciplinary approach organized around outdoor activities, the usage of skills and peer learning sessions in a cooperative international working atmosphereTle letters to the past dwellers will show the difference between the past and today.The essays 'Common Past, Shared Future' will improve the basic writing skillsThe short movie and public spotlights will fight against vandalism (Web2.0 tools, blurring faces and open licences will be used)WEBINAR meetings will help coordinators to sustain a successful Project and good relations among pupils and online seminar.Activities in the press, official website for the Project,Logos 2021 calenders, uploading the short movies and public spotlights, documentaries to social media, delivering the outputs to the schools,exhibition in the city center will disseminate the Project and help the Project results to remain for long yearsOur students will give the message with writing skills and drawing albume that history is a way to create a peaceful atmosphere in the society.The methodology in all the visits with students will be similar.
