Oral biology is a legitimate biomedical discipline of fundamental importance to dental education, but its incorporation into undergraduate dental education is proceeding too slowly, especially considering the changing conditions of dental practice. Widespread adoption of oral biology into dental curricula will enhance the biological orientation of dental students, and graduate education in oral biology can play a significant role in training dental researchers and academicians. Advances in the field of oral biology and the potential broadening of its role have been overlooked or downplayed by some dental educators, making it something of an issue in the U.S. dental community. Resolving this issue will depend on several relatively independent events: (1) some relief from, or an adaptation to, the present situational pressures on dental education; (2) a well‐informed pro‐oral biology position from dental education's national leaders; (3) improved efforts by oral biologists to communicate the importance of their field; and (4) an understanding of this issue by the dental community with an organized effort to bring oral biology into the mainstream of dental education as it changes to meet new needs.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebaran vegetasi herba, semak dan pohon pada daerah terbuka dan daerah naungan (canopy). Penyebaran vegetasi ini dilakukan di Taman Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuadrat. Metode ini bersifat kuantitatif yaitu dengan menghitung frekuensi dan densitas (kerapatan) . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa populasi organisme terbanyak ialah Ruellia fuberosa dengan jumlah frekuensi 3,25 dan densitas 0,9%. Sedangkan populasi organisme yang paling sedikit ialah Ficus benjamin dengan jumlah frekuensi 1 dan densitas 0,0025%

The research objective is to explore the trends research of inquiry learning in physics education in the last five years (2017-2021). This research is a bibliometric analysis. The findings show that research related to physics education is dominated by the most developed during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020 – 2021) country Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Journal of Physics Conference Series is the journal that publishes the most publications (Scopus) related to physics education, followed by the AIP Conference Proceeding. For research implications tolibrarians, and policy makers, (1) Research and development need to be carried out in-depth related to the growing trend of physics education so that it can be published in Scopus. (2) Cooperation and collaboration between other universities to increase publications at the international level. (3) The need for continuous research to follow current trends. The article is justified the urgency of introducing the elements of distance learning in methodical training of future teachers of biology. The essence of the concepts of «distance learning» and «distance learning technologies», highlights to the views of different scholars. The author is found out that the distance learning can be proceeding through various means of communication: mail, phone, email, and telecommunications. Today the most common e-distance learning is made with the help of computer information and communication technologies. The author analyzes the results of a survey of teachers of biology on their use of innovative learning technologies. It was found out that in using the distance technology by the universities of Ukraine in their methodical training of future teachers is not enough. The author justified to specified difficulties in implementing the distance learning in higher education. The national and international experience with elements of distance learning in methodical training of future teachers of biology has been described by the author. The structure of the distance course by the subject «Methods of teaching biology» has been opened. A methodical portal to the students’ teaching practice has been proposed. The recommendations for implementation the distance learning technologies in the educational process of higher educational institutions of Ukraine to prepare a new generation of biology teachers that is competitive and competent has been made.

Asma merupakan penyakit paru obstruktif kronis. Penderitanya adalah anak-anak, orang dewasa, maupun para lanjut usia. Penyakit ini memiliki karakteristik serangan periodik yang stabil. Sesak napas atau asma ini tidak bisa disembuhkan, namun manifestasi klinis dari asma bisa dikendalikan. Bahan alam digunakan secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat Indonesia dalam mengatasi berbagai penyakit. Metabolit sekunder yang dihasilkan oleh tanaman memiliki banyak khasiat dalam mengatasi berbagai penyakit. Kandungan flavonoid dalam buah apel dapat mengurangi peradangan asma secara masuk akal melalui sifat antioksidan, anti alergi, dan antiinflamasi. Lebih lanjut, satu flavonoid tertentu, khellin, yang dikenal karena sifat bronkodilatornya, digunakan secara historis untuk mengobati asma.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman vegetasi tumbuhan di Taman Pancasila dan Sidotopo, Magelang berdasarkan metode point sampling atau sampel acak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa jenis tumbuhan dan jumlah tumbuhan yang ditemukan pada Taman Pancasila dan Sidotopo. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut Pada taman sidotopo diperoleh empat spesises tumbuhan dan Pada taman sidotopo terdapat tiga spesies tumbuhan. Saran yang dapat dimasukkan berupa pada saat melakukan percobaan diperlukan menentuukan titik yang akan diambil secara acak dan tetap perlu dibuat plot agar dapat terbatasnya vegetasi yang diambil. Perlu waktu yang lama untuk menemukan perbedaan spesifik antar spesies tumbuhan tersebut.
