This study aims to reveal a description of learning in the Arabic village program implemented by IAIN Parepare as a reinforcement for Arabic learning. As a field research, this study is classified as a qualitative descriptive study under the approach of psycholinguistics, applied psycholinguistics and educational linguistics. The sample is students listed in the Arabic Language Village Program at IAIN Parepare. Data were collected using participatory observation methods, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and reference tracing. The results of this study reveal that the Arabic language village program at IAIN Parepare has a position as an amplifier for Arabic learning that students will face in formal courses at IAIN Parepare. The description of the learning in the program is formulated into learning methods supported by the media and learning objectives. The method used in the Arabic language village program at IAIN Parepare is a combination of several methods that focus on language learning, not language.

Peneltian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk : (1) Menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran 7P yang meliputi product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), promotion (X4), people (X5), process (X6), dan physical evidence (X7) terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (2) Menguji dan menganalisis variabel mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui survey sebanyak 100 orang sebagai sampel dari seluruh mahasiswa semester tiga IAIN Parepare pada tahun pelajaran 2017-2018. Survey dilakukan dari bulan Agustus s.d. September 2018. Data dianalisis melalui analisis regresi linier berganda dengan penggunakan program SPSS 21 Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Product berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (2) price berpengaruh negatif atau tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (3) place berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (4) promotion berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (5) people berpengaruh negatif atau tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (6) process berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (7) physical evidence berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare; (8) Promotion merupakan variabel paling berpengaruh terhadap keputusan Mahasiswa memilih kuliah di IAIN Parepare.

Social media is online media that makes it easy for audiences to provide and get information, now social media has many platforms such as Facebook. Facebook has many users who can update daily and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of IAIN Parepare's Facebook social media in providing information to prospective new students at SMAN 3 Parepare by covering three indicators namely frequency or intensity, duration, and activity. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research instrument in the form of a questionnaire given to 55 research samples (respondents) 3rd grade students of SMAN 3 Parepare. The results of this study indicate the ineffectiveness of IAIN Parepare's Facebook social media in providing information for several reasons, one of which is not using Facebook to find information regarding prospective new students. It can be concluded in this study that IAIN Parepare Facebook is not effective in providing information to prospective new students at SMAN 3 Parepare.

In an organization that regulates and controls the communication system is Public Relations. This study aims to provide a comprehensive description and explanation of the role of Public Relations in building a harmonious working relationship at IAIN Parepare. To obtain an authentic understanding, this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people whose behavior is observed. The qualitative descriptive approach used in this research is a case study. The results of this study indicate: Broadly speaking, the duties of Public Relations at IAIN Parepare are divided into 3 (three); a) Implement socialization and promotion programs for institutions, b). Providing information and news services about the institution to the wider community, c). Carry out documentation of institutional activities. This task makes Public Relations at IAIN Parepare act as a journalist in an organization that only provides technical communication services. 2. Public relations at IAIN Parepare has not been able to carry out its ideal role in building harmonious working relationships through two-way communications. Both Public Relations as a source of information (source of informations) and Public Relations as a channel of information (channel of informations) for the internal and external public.

English as primary and foreign language has become the key to the world. However, it must be found the way how to be mastered it. One of the skills which are very important is speaking skill because it will help people to communicate and interact each other. This research was carried out at LIBAM IAIN Parepare. In this case, the researcher found that some members of LIBAM IAIN Parepare are still a law in speaking especially in front of their friends or other people. To solve the problem, the researcher used three step interview. This technique is one of student center learning which learners help each other and learn. The objective of the research is to know whether three step interview is able or not to improve the speaking skill of members of LIBAM IAIN Parepare. The population was the members of LIBAM IAIN Parepare and the sample of this research was 25 members. The researcher used pre-experimental design in one group was given pre-test, treatment and post-test design, as for the effect of treatment was judged by the difference between the pre-test and post-test. The success of the treatment is determined by comparing pre-test and post-test score. To collect the data, the researcher used tests that are pre-test and post-test. The researcher also gave questionnaire to know the responses of students to three step intervew. The data were analyzed as a percentage, mean score analyzes and the value of the test. The first result of the data analyzed that the students’ achievement on the pre- test was (6,36) and post-test was (7,26) This showed that by using three step interview was a good technique in English learning process at Lintasan Imajinasi Bahasa Mahasiswa (LIBAM) IAIN Parepare. After analyzing the data by using the t- test formula, the result of the t-test value (9,64) is bigger than the t-table value (1,7108).It means that there is a different improvement before and after using three step interview as technique of teaching. The second result of analyzed data that 72% of the students were interested in using three-ste interview, in the other word most of them interested to apply three step interview.

The aim of this research was to know the Students learning startegy and motivation in developing the students’ speakin gability at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare).The researcher was applying at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare) through had escriptive qualitati veresearch. This research were using three kinds of instruments. The first instrument wastest, where the purpose of this instrument was to know the student tabilityin speaking. The second was interview, the aim of this instrument was to know what strategy that the student use to develop their speaking. The last was question naire, where this instrument was to know the motivation of the student in order to develop their speaking. After analyzing the data from the question naire the research erfound that students in the high andlow category have the same strong motivation in developing their speaking. However, interms of using strategy, the students in high category use more variated strategies than thelow category. The students in high category mostly apply cognitive and metacognitive strategy while the students in low cataegory mostly used social strategy.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara analitis tentang strategi pemasaran yaitu pengaruh bauran pemasaran jasa terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Analisis variabel penelitian digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan manajemen terkait dengan masing-masing variabel penelitian yang digunakan secara sendiri-sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jumlah responden sebanyak 93 orang Mahasiswa IAIN Parepare. Kajian ini menggunakan tujuh variabel bebas yaitu Product (X1), Price (X2), Promotion (X3), Place (X4), People (X5), Process (X6), dan Physical Evidence (X7) sedang variabel terikatnya adalah Keputusan Mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yaitu IAIN Parepare yang disimbolkan sebagai Y. Dari kelima variabel bebas yang signifikan dalam menentukan keputusan mahasiswa memilih IAIN Parepare, ternyata variabel promotion (promosi) yang mempunyai pengaruh dominan dalam meningkatkan keputusan mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yaitu IAIN Parepare.

Kajian ini fokus pada integrasi budaya Bugis malebbi warekkadanna makkiade ampena dalam membangun jiwa agama mahasiswa. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologis, antropologis dan religious diterapkan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumntasi di IAIN Parepare. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengkajian keagamaan di IAIN Parepare sebagai kegiatan ekstra selain dari perkuliahan dapat mewujudkan kepribadian memiliki kecerdasan, kedalaman ilmu dan jiwa agama sebagai mahasiswa berakhlakul karimah. Integrasi budaya Bugis malebbi warekkadanna makkiade ampena dengan pengkajian keagamaan mentrasformasi mahasiswa menjadi manusia terdidik berakhlakul karimah, mencintai agama dan budaya dalam konteks mampu bertutur dan bertindak dengan sopan santun.

Interest in learning and learning outcomes are two important aspects in supporting the success of the learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Research-Based Learning by utilizing Google Classroom in improving student learning outcomes and interest in learning. This type of research is a pre-experimental research with One-Group Posttest Design. The data analyzed were data on learning outcomes and student interest in learning. Based on the results of the analysis of the posttest student learning outcomes using the t-test obtained that the p-value = 0.005 so that H1 was accepted and the results of the analysis of the posttest of student learning interest using the t-test obtained that the p-value = 0.000 so that H1 was accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that Research Based Learning by utilizing Google Classroom is effective in improving student learning outcomes and interest in learning.

Writing is still considered as a difficult skill in language learning by Indonesian students. For that reason, it is urgent for teacher to seek for interesting ways to teach writing in the classroom. This study examines the effectiveness of the use of peer feedback technique to improve students’ skill in writing descriptive paragraph. Some studies have proved the effectiveness of the technique to improve students’ writing skill. The study employs experimental research in which one class of 20 students is taught to write narrative paragraph and correct their paragraph using peer feedback technique. The result of the study shows that the technique improves the students writing skill in narrative writing, however the scores are not significant. This suggests that there is a factor that affects the result of the teaching using peer feedback, and it is the less time of treatment which is indicated as the factor.

The aim of this research was to know the Students learning startegy and motivation in developing the students’ speakin gability at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare).The researcher was applying at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare) through had escriptive qualitati veresearch. This research were using three kinds of instruments. The first instrument wastest, where the purpose of this instrument was to know the student tabilityin speaking. The second was interview, the aim of this instrument was to know what strategy that the student use to develop their speaking. The last was question naire, where this instrument was to know the motivation of the student in order to develop their speaking. After analyzing the data from the question naire the research erfound that students in the high andlow category have the same strong motivation in developing their speaking. However, interms of using strategy, the students in high category use more variated strategies than thelow category. The students in high category mostly apply cognitive and metacognitive strategy while the students in low cataegory mostly used social strategy.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara analitis tentang strategi pemasaran yaitu pengaruh bauran pemasaran jasa terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Analisis variabel penelitian digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan manajemen terkait dengan masing-masing variabel penelitian yang digunakan secara sendiri-sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jumlah responden sebanyak 93 orang Mahasiswa IAIN Parepare. Kajian ini menggunakan tujuh variabel bebas yaitu Product (X1), Price (X2), Promotion (X3), Place (X4), People (X5), Process (X6), dan Physical Evidence (X7) sedang variabel terikatnya adalah Keputusan Mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yaitu IAIN Parepare yang disimbolkan sebagai Y. Dari kelima variabel bebas yang signifikan dalam menentukan keputusan mahasiswa memilih IAIN Parepare, ternyata variabel promotion (promosi) yang mempunyai pengaruh dominan dalam meningkatkan keputusan mahasiswa memilih Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yaitu IAIN Parepare.

Kajian ini fokus pada integrasi budaya Bugis malebbi warekkadanna makkiade ampena dalam membangun jiwa agama mahasiswa. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologis, antropologis dan religious diterapkan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumntasi di IAIN Parepare. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengkajian keagamaan di IAIN Parepare sebagai kegiatan ekstra selain dari perkuliahan dapat mewujudkan kepribadian memiliki kecerdasan, kedalaman ilmu dan jiwa agama sebagai mahasiswa berakhlakul karimah. Integrasi budaya Bugis malebbi warekkadanna makkiade ampena dengan pengkajian keagamaan mentrasformasi mahasiswa menjadi manusia terdidik berakhlakul karimah, mencintai agama dan budaya dalam konteks mampu bertutur dan bertindak dengan sopan santun.

Interest in learning and learning outcomes are two important aspects in supporting the success of the learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Research-Based Learning by utilizing Google Classroom in improving student learning outcomes and interest in learning. This type of research is a pre-experimental research with One-Group Posttest Design. The data analyzed were data on learning outcomes and student interest in learning. Based on the results of the analysis of the posttest student learning outcomes using the t-test obtained that the p-value = 0.005 so that H1 was accepted and the results of the analysis of the posttest of student learning interest using the t-test obtained that the p-value = 0.000 so that H1 was accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that Research Based Learning by utilizing Google Classroom is effective in improving student learning outcomes and interest in learning.

Writing is still considered as a difficult skill in language learning by Indonesian students. For that reason, it is urgent for teacher to seek for interesting ways to teach writing in the classroom. This study examines the effectiveness of the use of peer feedback technique to improve students’ skill in writing descriptive paragraph. Some studies have proved the effectiveness of the technique to improve students’ writing skill. The study employs experimental research in which one class of 20 students is taught to write narrative paragraph and correct their paragraph using peer feedback technique. The result of the study shows that the technique improves the students writing skill in narrative writing, however the scores are not significant. This suggests that there is a factor that affects the result of the teaching using peer feedback, and it is the less time of treatment which is indicated as the factor.
