    In this study, the Gauss Narayana-Lucas number sequence is introduced and examined. Firstly, the Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequence is defined by extending the Narayana-Lucas number sequence. Then, the generating function and the Binet formula of this number sequence were obtained. In addition, some sum formulas related to the Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequence and some matrices containing the terms of this sequence are examined. Finally, some relations were obtained between Gaussian Narayana and Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequences. Bu çalışmada, Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi tanıtıldı ve incelendi. İlk olarak Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi genişletilerek Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi tanımlanmıştır. Daha sonra bu sayı dizisine ait üreteç fonksiyonu ve Binet formülü elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi ile ilgili bazı toplam formülleri ve bu dizinin terimlerini içeren bazı matrisler araştırılmıştır. Son olarak Gauss Narayana ile Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizileri arasında bazı ilişkiler elde edilmiştir.

    Bu çalışmada sonlu ve sonsuz sınırlandırıcıpotansiyele sahip küresel kuantum nokta yapının taban ve bazı uyarılmış enerjiseviyeleri ve dalga fonksiyonları hesaplandı. Bununla beraber taban ve çeşitliuyarılmış durumlarının bağlanma enerjileri nokta yapının yarıçapına bağlıolarak incelendi. Enerji öz değerlerini ve öz fonksiyonlarını hesaplamak için KuantumGenetik Algoritma ve Hartree-Fock Roothaan metodu kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlargöstermiştir ki kuantum nokta yapının enerji seviyeleri üzerinde yarıçapın vesınırlandırıcı potansiyelin büyük etkisi vardır. Buna karşılık büyük noktayarıçaplarında sınırlandırıcı potansiyelin etkisinin ortadan kalktığı ve enerjiseviyelerinin hidrojen atomunun değerlerine gittiği görüldü. In this study, we have calculated the energy states and thewavefunctions of the spherical quantum dot with finite and infinite confiningpotential. In addition, we have investigated the binding energies of the groundand excited states of the spherical quantum dot as a function of dot radius. Inorder to calculate the energy eigenvalues and the wavefunctions Quantum GeneticAlgorithm and Hartre-Fock Roothaan method have been employed. The results showthat dot radius and confinement potential has a great effect on the energystates and binding energies. In large dot radii, the effect of confinementpotential on energy states is disappeared and energy states go to the energyvalues of hydrogen atom.

    Minareler,Müslümanları namaza çağırmak için İslam dininin ibadet yeri olan camilerebitişik olarak inşa edilmiştir. Türkiye’de ve diğer Müslüman ülkelerde yığmaminarelerin büyük çoğunluğu orta şiddetli bir deprem ya da hafif şiddetli birrüzgâr etkisiyle zarar görebilmektedir. Bunun nedenlerinden biri bu yapılarınince ve uzun olmasıdır. Bir diğer sebebi ise özellikle günümüzde inşa edilenminarelerin herhangi bir mühendislik bilgisi olmadan yapılmasıdır. Bu çalışmada,Aksaray il merkezinde yer alan tek şerefeli 7 adet yığma minarenin depremdavranışları incelenmiştir. Bahsedilen minarelerin geometrik ölçümlerifotogrametrik cihazlar kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Sonlu Elemanlar Metodunukullanan LUSAS programı ile minareler modellenerek deprem analizleri yapılmıştır.Yapısal analizler birbirleriyle karşılaştırılarak elde edilen sonuçlaryorumlanmıştır.  Minaretsare built adjacent to mosques and used for calling Muslims to mosques for pray.Almost all masonry minarets in Turkeyand similar Muslim countries have been damaged due to medium intensity seismicactions or at least moderate winds. One of the reasons for this is that thesestructures are thin and long. Another reason is that the minarets built withoutany engineering knowledge today. In this study, 7 masonry minarets with singlebalcony, located in the city center of Aksaray (middle Anatolia),are investigated in terms of seismic behaviors. The mentioned minarets weregeometrically measured using photogrammetric devices and techniques. Measuredminarets were modeled using Finite Element Method with LUSAS Software, andseismic analyses were performed. Structural analyzes are compared with eachother and the results obtained are interpreted.

    The purpose of this work is to determine theeffect of the antifreeze additive on the behavior of the concrete under hightemperature. For this purpose, two different types of C20 class concretewere produced with reference and antifreeze additive. Fresh concrete was poured into plate molds, after 14 daysstandard curing, core samples of Ø5x10 cm dimensions were taken from plaqueconcrete. On day 90, the core samples were exposed to temperatures of 20, 200,400, 550 and 700 °C for 3 hours and they cooled by air and water spray.Experiments on water absorption, ultrasound transit speed and compressivestrength were carried out on the core samples. Microstructures were analyzed byX-ray diffraction method in concrete specimens applied at temperatures of 20and 700 °C. As a result, it has beendetermined that the concrete with antifreeze strain that is least affected bythe temperature of 700 °C is cooled water. Bu çalışmanın amacı antifriz katkısının betonunyüksek sıcaklık altındaki davranışlarına etkisini belirlemektir. Bu amacayönelik olarak, referans ve antifriz katkılı C20 sınıfı iki farklı tip betonüretimi yapılmıştır. Taze betonlar plak kalıplara dökülmüş, 14 gün standart kürardından, plak betonlardan Ø5x10 cm boyutlarında karot örnekleri alınmıştır.90. günde karot örnekleri 3 saat süresince 20, 200, 400, 550 ve 700 °Csıcaklığa maruz bırakılarak, havada ve su püskürtme yoluyla soğutulmuştur.Karot örnekleri üzerinde su emme, ultra ses geçiş hızı ve basınç dayanımıdeneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. 20 ve 700 °C beton örneklerinde X ışını kırınımyöntemi ile mikro yapı analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, 700 °C sıcaklıktan enaz etkilenen beton türünün antifriz katkılı su püskürtülerek soğutulan örneklerolduğu belirlenmiştir.

    Bu inceleme çalışmasının amacı kumluzeminlerin katkı malzemeleriyle iyileştirilmesinin araştırılmasıdır. Katkılarlaiyileştirilen kumlu zeminlerin karakteristiklerinin tespit edilmesinde,Kaliforniya Taşıma Oranı (CBR) deneyi kullanılır. CBR esnek üst yapılar içinalt temel ve granüler tabakaların davranışını belirler. Çalışmanın amacıdoğrultusunda katkı malzemesi olarak atık lastik parçacıkları kullanılmıştır. Dünyaüzerinde atık olarak değerlendirilen maddelerin büyük bir kısmı geridönüştürülebilir malzemelerden oluşmaktadır. Bu malzemelerin yenidenkullanılarak geri dönüşüme katılması çevrenin ve doğanın dengesininkorunabilmesi, doğaya verilen zararın minimuma indirilebilmesi ve ülke ekonomisiaçısından oldukça önemlidir. Zeminlerin katkı maddeleri ile İyileştirilmesidiğer iyileştirme yöntemlerine göre daha ekonomik olmasından dolayı çok genişbir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Son zamanlarda endüstriyel atık maddelerin buamaç için kullanımı ön plana çıkmıştır. Geoteknik Mühendisliği alanında da atıklastiklerin kullanılabilirliği araştırmaları tüm dünyada ve ülkemizdesürdürülmektedir. The aim ofthis investigation is to research the improvement of sandy soils with additivematerials. California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is commonly used to determine thecharacteristics of sandy soils which are improved by using additives. The CBRtest estimates behavior of subbase and granular layers for flexiblesuperstructures. Waste shredded tires are used as additives in accordance withthe purpose of this study. A great majority of materials, which are consideredas wastes in the world, consist of recyclable materials. Recycling thesematerials is imperative for being able to preserve environmental and naturalbalance, minimizing the damage inflicted upon nature and also for the country’seconomy. The improvement of ground with additive materials has been widely usedsince it is more economical than other stabilization methods. Recently, usageof industrial waste materials as additive materials has become popular.Investigations on utilization of waste tires in geotechnical engineering arebeing carried not only in our country but also in the rest of the world.

    Bu çalışmanın amacı, Şanlıurfa’da mısır tarımıyapılan tarlalardan alınan toprak örneklerinde bazı mikrobiyal özelliklerinbelirlenmesidir. Ayrıca bu toprakların bazı fiziko-kimyasal özellikleriincelenmiştir. Toprak örnekleri 0-20 cm derinliğinden alınmıştır. Topraklarınmikrobiyal biyomas karbon içerikleri 98.2-198.5 mg C/g kuru toprak arasındadeğişiklik göstermiştir. Toprak örneklerinde üreaz, katalaz, dehidrogenaz,alkalin fosfataz, β-glukosidaz enzim aktiviteleri çalışılmıştır. İncelenenörneklerde enzim aktiviteleri farklılık göstermiştir. İncelenen toprak özellikleriarasında pozitif ve negatif korelasyon belirlenmiştir. The aim of thisstudy was to investigate some microbiological properties in soil samples takenfrom maize grown fields in Sanliurfa. Also, some physic-chemical properties ofthese soil samples were observed. The soil samples were taken from 0-20 cmdepth of maize grown soils. The microbial biomass carbon content of soils wasdetermined as 98.2-198.5 mg C/g dry soil. The enzyme activities studied of soilsamples were urease, catalase, dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase,β-glucosidase. Enzyme activities of samples were differently. Positive andnegative correlation were found between soil properties observed.

    In this paper, we introduce two operators associated with ψ* and *ψ operators in ideal topological spaces and discuss the properties of these operators. We give further characterizations of Hayashi-Samuel spaces with the help of these two operators. We also give a brief discussion on homeomorphism of generalized closure spaces which were induced by these two operators.

    Kahramanmaras is at the point of the intersection of Mediterranean andIrano-Turanian phytogeographical regions which are very important in terms ofgeographical location and plant geography. This area has a rich and variousvegetation structure due to complex physical geographical structure and otherenvironmental factors. It is crucial to protect by determinating this richbiodiversity. The research area islocated in the Kahramanmaras province and on the C6 square in Davis’s gridsystem. The campus of KSU and its surrounding area is located in theCeyhan Valley. The native flora of this area has been extensively destroyed byanthropogenic effects. This study was carried out between 2015 and 2017 and theplants used in medicinal and aromatic purposes of the native flora wereinvestigated. As a result, it was determined that 47 plant taxa belonging to 27families for used medically. In terms of species number, the largest familiesare as following; Lamiaceae (7), Asteraceae (5), Rosaceae (3). These plant taxawere alphabetically indicated according to their family names, Latin and localnames as well as with their used parts and usage purposes. Kahramanmaraş coğrafik konumu ile bitkicoğrafyası açısından çok önemli olan Akdeniz ve İran-Turan fitocoğrafikbölgelerinin kesişme noktasındadır. Bu bölge, farklı coğrafik yapı ve çevreselfaktörlerin etkisi ile zengin ve çeşitli bir vejetasyon yapısına sahiptir. Buzengin çeşitliliğin belirlenerek korunması çok önemlidir. Araştırma alanıKahramanmaraş ilinde Davis’in grid sisteminde C6 karesindedir. KSÜ kampüsü veçevresi Ceyhan Vadisi’nde yer almaktadır. Bu bölgedeki doğal flora insan etkisiile aşırı zarar görmüş durumdadır. Bu çalışma 2015-2017 yılları arasındayürütülmüş ve doğal florada bulunan bitki türlerinden tıbbi olarakkullanılanlar araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak tıbbi açıdan kullanılan 27familyaya ait 47 bitki taksonu belirlenmiştir. Tür sayısı bakımından en büyükfamilyalar sırasıyla; Lamiaceae (7), Asteraceae (5), Rosaceae (3)’dir. Bu bitkitaksonlarının latince ve yerel isimleri, kullanılan kısımları ve kullanımamaçları familya isimlerine göre alfabetik olarak verilmiştir.

    The concept of stability is studied on many different types of mathematical structures. This concept can be thought of as the small changes that will be applied in the structure studied should not disrupt the functioning of this structure. In this context, we performed the convergence and stability analysis of the new four-step iteration algorithm that we defined in this study, under appropriate conditions. In addition, we execute a speed comparison with existing algorithms to prove that the new algorithm is effective and useful, and we gave a numerical example to support our result.

    In this study, the Gauss Narayana-Lucas number sequence is introduced and examined. Firstly, the Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequence is defined by extending the Narayana-Lucas number sequence. Then, the generating function and the Binet formula of this number sequence were obtained. In addition, some sum formulas related to the Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequence and some matrices containing the terms of this sequence are examined. Finally, some relations were obtained between Gaussian Narayana and Gaussian Narayana-Lucas number sequences. Bu çalışmada, Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi tanıtıldı ve incelendi. İlk olarak Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi genişletilerek Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi tanımlanmıştır. Daha sonra bu sayı dizisine ait üreteç fonksiyonu ve Binet formülü elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca Gauss Narayana-Lucas sayı dizisi ile ilgili bazı toplam formülleri ve bu dizinin terimlerini içeren bazı matrisler araştırılmıştır.     Bu çalışmada sonlu ve sonsuz sınırlandırıcıpotansiyele sahip küresel kuantum nokta yapının taban ve bazı uyarılmış enerjiseviyeleri ve dalga fonksiyonları hesaplandı. Bununla beraber taban ve çeşitliuyarılmış durumlarının bağlanma enerjileri nokta yapının yarıçapına bağlıolarak incelendi. Enerji öz değerlerini ve öz fonksiyonlarını hesaplamak için KuantumGenetik Algoritma ve Hartree-Fock Roothaan metodu kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlargöstermiştir ki kuantum nokta yapının enerji seviyeleri üzerinde yarıçapın vesınırlandırıcı potansiyelin büyük etkisi vardır. Buna karşılık büyük noktayarıçaplarında sınırlandırıcı potansiyelin etkisinin ortadan kalktığı ve enerjiseviyelerinin hidrojen atomunun değerlerine gittiği görüldü. In this study, we have calculated the energy states and thewavefunctions of the spherical quantum dot with finite and infinite confiningpotential. In addition, we have investigated the binding energies of the groundand excited states of the spherical quantum dot as a function of dot radius. Inorder to calculate the energy eigenvalues and the wavefunctions Quantum GeneticAlgorithm and Hartre-Fock Roothaan method have been employed. The results showthat dot radius and confinement potential has a great effect on the energystates and binding energies. In large dot radii, the effect of confinementpotential on energy states is disappeared and energy states go to the energyvalues of hydrogen atom.

    Minareler,Müslümanları namaza çağırmak için İslam dininin ibadet yeri olan camilerebitişik olarak inşa edilmiştir. Türkiye’de ve diğer Müslüman ülkelerde yığmaminarelerin büyük çoğunluğu orta şiddetli bir deprem ya da hafif şiddetli birrüzgâr etkisiyle zarar görebilmektedir. Bunun nedenlerinden biri bu yapılarınince ve uzun olmasıdır. Bir diğer sebebi ise özellikle günümüzde inşa edilenminarelerin herhangi bir mühendislik bilgisi olmadan yapılmasıdır. Bu çalışmada,Aksaray il merkezinde yer alan tek şerefeli 7 adet yığma minarenin depremdavranışları incelenmiştir. Bahsedilen minarelerin geometrik ölçümlerifotogrametrik cihazlar kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Sonlu Elemanlar Metodunukullanan LUSAS programı ile minareler modellenerek deprem analizleri yapılmıştır.Yapısal analizler birbirleriyle karşılaştırılarak elde edilen sonuçlaryorumlanmıştır.  Minaretsare built adjacent to mosques and used for calling Muslims to mosques for pray.Almost all masonry minarets in Turkeyand similar Muslim countries have been damaged due to medium intensity seismicactions or at least moderate winds. One of the reasons for this is that thesestructures are thin and long. Another reason is that the minarets built withoutany engineering knowledge today. In this study, 7 masonry minarets with singlebalcony, located in the city center of Aksaray (middle Anatolia),are investigated in terms of seismic behaviors. The mentioned minarets weregeometrically measured using photogrammetric devices and techniques. Measuredminarets were modeled using Finite Element Method with LUSAS Software, andseismic analyses were performed. Structural analyzes are compared with eachother and the results obtained are interpreted.

    The purpose of this work is to determine theeffect of the antifreeze additive on the behavior of the concrete under hightemperature. For this purpose, two different types of C20 class concretewere produced with reference and antifreeze additive. Fresh concrete was poured into plate molds, after 14 daysstandard curing, core samples of Ø5x10 cm dimensions were taken from plaqueconcrete. On day 90, the core samples were exposed to temperatures of 20, 200,400, 550 and 700 °C for 3 hours and they cooled by air and water spray.Experiments on water absorption, ultrasound transit speed and compressivestrength were carried out on the core samples. Microstructures were analyzed byX-ray diffraction method in concrete specimens applied at temperatures of 20and 700 °C. As a result, it has beendetermined that the concrete with antifreeze strain that is least affected bythe temperature of 700 °C is cooled water. Bu çalışmanın amacı antifriz katkısının betonunyüksek sıcaklık altındaki davranışlarına etkisini belirlemektir. Bu amacayönelik olarak, referans ve antifriz katkılı C20 sınıfı iki farklı tip betonüretimi yapılmıştır. Taze betonlar plak kalıplara dökülmüş, 14 gün standart kürardından, plak betonlardan Ø5x10 cm boyutlarında karot örnekleri alınmıştır.90. günde karot örnekleri 3 saat süresince 20, 200, 400, 550 ve 700 °Csıcaklığa maruz bırakılarak, havada ve su püskürtme yoluyla soğutulmuştur.Karot örnekleri üzerinde su emme, ultra ses geçiş hızı ve basınç dayanımıdeneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. 20 ve 700 °C beton örneklerinde X ışını kırınımyöntemi ile mikro yapı analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, 700 °C sıcaklıktan enaz etkilenen beton türünün antifriz katkılı su püskürtülerek soğutulan örneklerolduğu belirlenmiştir.

    Bu inceleme çalışmasının amacı kumluzeminlerin katkı malzemeleriyle iyileştirilmesinin araştırılmasıdır. Katkılarlaiyileştirilen kumlu zeminlerin karakteristiklerinin tespit edilmesinde,Kaliforniya Taşıma Oranı (CBR) deneyi kullanılır. CBR esnek üst yapılar içinalt temel ve granüler tabakaların davranışını belirler. Çalışmanın amacıdoğrultusunda katkı malzemesi olarak atık lastik parçacıkları kullanılmıştır. Dünyaüzerinde atık olarak değerlendirilen maddelerin büyük bir kısmı geridönüştürülebilir malzemelerden oluşmaktadır. Bu malzemelerin yenidenkullanılarak geri dönüşüme katılması çevrenin ve doğanın dengesininkorunabilmesi, doğaya verilen zararın minimuma indirilebilmesi ve ülke ekonomisiaçısından oldukça önemlidir. Zeminlerin katkı maddeleri ile İyileştirilmesidiğer iyileştirme yöntemlerine göre daha ekonomik olmasından dolayı çok genişbir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Son zamanlarda endüstriyel atık maddelerin buamaç için kullanımı ön plana çıkmıştır. Geoteknik Mühendisliği alanında da atıklastiklerin kullanılabilirliği araştırmaları tüm dünyada ve ülkemizdesürdürülmektedir. The aim ofthis investigation is to research the improvement of sandy soils with additivematerials. California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is commonly used to determine thecharacteristics of sandy soils which are improved by using additives. The CBRtest estimates behavior of subbase and granular layers for flexiblesuperstructures. Waste shredded tires are used as additives in accordance withthe purpose of this study. A great majority of materials, which are consideredas wastes in the world, consist of recyclable materials. Recycling thesematerials is imperative for being able to preserve environmental and naturalbalance, minimizing the damage inflicted upon nature and also for the country’seconomy. The improvement of ground with additive materials has been widely usedsince it is more economical than other stabilization methods. Recently, usageof industrial waste materials as additive materials has become popular.Investigations on utilization of waste tires in geotechnical engineering arebeing carried not only in our country but also in the rest of the world.

    Bu çalışmanın amacı, Şanlıurfa’da mısır tarımıyapılan tarlalardan alınan toprak örneklerinde bazı mikrobiyal özelliklerinbelirlenmesidir. Ayrıca bu toprakların bazı fiziko-kimyasal özellikleriincelenmiştir. Toprak örnekleri 0-20 cm derinliğinden alınmıştır. Topraklarınmikrobiyal biyomas karbon içerikleri 98.2-198.5 mg C/g kuru toprak arasındadeğişiklik göstermiştir. Toprak örneklerinde üreaz, katalaz, dehidrogenaz,alkalin fosfataz, β-glukosidaz enzim aktiviteleri çalışılmıştır. İncelenenörneklerde enzim aktiviteleri farklılık göstermiştir. İncelenen toprak özellikleriarasında pozitif ve negatif korelasyon belirlenmiştir. The aim of thisstudy was to investigate some microbiological properties in soil samples takenfrom maize grown fields in Sanliurfa. Also, some physic-chemical properties ofthese soil samples were observed. The soil samples were taken from 0-20 cmdepth of maize grown soils. The microbial biomass carbon content of soils wasdetermined as 98.2-198.5 mg C/g dry soil. The enzyme activities studied of soilsamples were urease, catalase, dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase,β-glucosidase. Enzyme activities of samples were differently. Positive andnegative correlation were found between soil properties observed.

    In this paper, we introduce two operators associated with ψ* and *ψ operators in ideal topological spaces and discuss the properties of these operators. We give further characterizations of Hayashi-Samuel spaces with the help of these two operators. We also give a brief discussion on homeomorphism of generalized closure spaces which were induced by these two operators.
