The aim of this study was to analyze the competitiveness of coconut farming in North Konawe District which was carried out in December 2019. Respondents in this study were 62 coconut farmers. Determination of the sample using the census method. Data analysis used is PAM analysis. The results showed that coconut farming in North Konawe Regency has competitiveness both competitively and comparatively. This can be seen from the value of the ratio of private costs and the ratio of the cost of domestic resources to coconut farming in North Konawe District, which is less than one.

The purpose of this study was to assess the role of agricultural extension in the development of Farmers in Sub Benua Nirae, Abeli District of Kendari. This study uses a quantitative descriptively. Samples were used as research informants are 20 farmers who are members of 4 groups of farmers and also an Agricultural Extension Workers in Sub Benua Nirae, Abeli District of Kendari City. The rice cultivation in the Landawe District, North Konawe Regency. The determination of this area is based on the consideration that in Landawe Subdistrict there are rice paddy farming. The research group is farmers in Landawe Subdistrict with a sample of 59 farmers, the sampling is done by simple random sampling (Random sampling). Based on this study, the results of several factors that have a significant effect on productivity, including urea and pesticides at the level of 10% and for seeds, NPK fertilizer and labor do not affect at the level of 10%. Based on income, the average income received by farmers is Rp. 11,081,122.8 / Ha.

The purpose of this study was to find out the sources of fisheries in economic adaptation in the village of Bokori, Soropia District, Konawe District. This research was conducted in Bokori Village, Soropia District, Konawe Regency. The type of research used for people is 33 people. Data analysis uses a quantitative approach. This study aimed to analyze the social and economic aspects of the sand miners in the village Tomoahi District Kulisusu North Buton. Sampling was done by census. Methods of data analysis using the formula I = revenue TR-TC, and descriptive analysis. Population acquired 46 people as respondents. This study aims to determine the condition of prices and benefits of patchouli farming in Benua District, South Konawe Regency. Determination of samples using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance limit of 5% so that a sample of 60 farmer respondents was obtained. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and profit analysis. The results showed that the difference in selling prices of dried patchouli in Benua District, South Konawe Regency was due to the different buyers and quality of patchouli. Patchouli quality is influenced by farmers' management abilities and different harvesting frequencies. While the level of profits obtained by patchouli farmers in Benua Subdistrict, Konawe Selatan Regency are mostly in the low category (90.00%) and only 6.67% in the high category

This study aimed to determine the social interaction of sand miners in the Laosu Village Bondoala Sub District Konawe District. The research sample consisted of 15 sand miners. The descriptive analysis was used to conduct this research—descriptive techniques for social interaction of sand miners in cooperation and competition, using the interval formula. This study indicated that social interaction with sand miners in collaboration and mutual help from fellow miners knew that the sand is the high category. At the same time, social interaction with sand miners in terms of individual competition and competition for the position and the role of the sand miners fall into the low category. Then social interaction sand miners in the form of a personal conflict of sand miners and social class antagonism sand miners in the deficient category.

This study aims to determine the role of farmer groups in lowland rice farming in Belatu Village, Pondidaha District, Konawe Regency. This research was conducted in November 2016-March 2017. Determination of the sample using cluster random sampling is by taking 25% of the population so that the number of samples is 27 people. Analysis of the data used is the interval formula. The results showed that the role of farmer groups in wetland farming in Belatu Village, Pondidaha District, Konawe District was dominantly in the medium category. then the role of farmer groups as the dominant learning class is in the high category. While the role of farmer groups as a vehicle for cooperation and dominant production units is in a low category.
