Indonesia adalah negara agraris, namun tujuan swasembada pangan yang dicanangkan sejak dulu tidak pernah tercapai, kecuali pada tahun 1984. Kondisi ketahanan pangan dalam level nasional tersebut sangat berbeda dengan apa yang terjadi pada kehidupan petani lokal. Justru banyak petani di wilayah pedalaman yang hidup dengan ketersediaan pangan yang melimpah. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, artikel ini memaparkan hasil kajian tentang konsep ketahanan pangan lokal, dan kemungkinannya untuk diadopsi dalam konsep kebijakan ketahanan pangan oleh negara.

One of the social capital that the Indonesian nation has to conduct community empowerment since the pre-independence era until today is ‘Aisyiyah. Since its establishment in 1917, ‘Aisyiyah has owned many models of social empowerment through its movements spread throughout Indonesia and abroad. ‘Aisyiyah has also conducted the community empowerment through a media, Suara ‘Aisyiyah. The initial concept of community empowerment by ‘Aisyiyah needs to be revealed because it is the basic identification conducted by ‘Aisyiyah as a whole until today. This writing reveals two things. First, the initial concept of community empowerment by ‘Aisyiyah contained in Suara ‘Aisyiyah in the era of national movement. Second, the community empowerment sectors conducted by Suara ‘Aisyiyah in the era of national movement. As a whole this writing reveals a phenomenon that is different from a description happening in the colonial era. Generally in the pre-independence era women were described as the members of society who were uneducated, backward, and had no actions in public domain. Media sosial menghilangkan batasan manusia dalam bersosialisasi. Batasan waktu dan ruang menjadi tidak berpengaruh. Media sosial memungkinkan manusia berkomunikasi satu sama lain di mana pun mereka berada dan kapanpun, tanpa merisaukan seberapa jauh jarak di antar mereka dan tidak terpengaruh waktu (siang ataupun malam). Media sosial memberi dampak besar pada kehidupan kita saat ini. Seseorang yang asalnya “tidak dikenal” bisa seketika menjadi tenar dengan media sosial, begitu pun sebaliknya, orang “hebat” dalam ekejap bisa menjadi “tak bernilai” oleh kekuatan media sosial.

Modernization or modern civilization is a condition where there is an increase or development in various aspects of society. But despite these developments many negative values arise from modernization. Modernization should not only bring world conditions that are increasingly sophisticated from the perspective of the means and facilities of life, but also offer new values that are modern and progressive. Values that can shape modern humans in order to answer the challenges of the times. Seeing modern civilization today which is increasingly leaning towards negative both in terms of thought, behavior, and the nature of the question is how Islam exists as a solution amid modernization of the many problems that arise. Then the authors offer the concept of BIM as a solution amid the crisis of modern humans from modernization. By using a normative approach, as well as studying the library (library research) as a type of research. The author tries to combine the concepts of the West, Islam, and Applied using media intermediaries toshape modern humans as a step towards Modernist Islam. The result of this research is the suitability of using the BIM concept as an alternative solution for modern humans to face global modernity in order to move towards modernist Islam.

Pada tahun 2011, Kementerian Negara Pemberdayaan Perempuandan Perlindungan Anak (Kemenneg PPPA) menginisiasi Kabupaten/Kota Layak Anak (KLA) sebagai suatu sistem pembangunan berbasis hak anak di level kabupaten atau kota melalui pengintegrasian komitmen dan sumberdaya pemerintah, masyarakat dan dunia usaha yang terencana secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan dalam kebijakan, program dan kegiatan untuk menjamin terpenuhinya hak anak. Penelitian dengan mengambil setting keterlibatan masyarakat dalam implementasi mewujudkan Kabupaten Layak Anak (KLA) di Kabupaten Slemanini dimaksudkan sebagai upaya merekam proses peran serta masyarakat dalam upaya-upaya pemenuhan hak anak yang secara kelembagaan diintegrasikan dalam sebuah sistem pembangunan dengan tajuk KLA. Abstrak. Paper ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran wakaf untuk kesejahteraan dan pembangunan infrastruktur serta prospek perwakafan di Indonesia, utamanya pasca lahirnya Undang-Undang No. 40 Tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf. Analisis terhadap perwakafan terfokus pada manajemen dan pengelolaan harta wakaf oleh lembaga wakaf yang masih tradisional dan jauh dari orientasi produktif sebagaimana yang diinginkan Undang-undang Wakaf. Problematika ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal, seperti: Kurangnya sosialisasi tentang fiqh wakaf maupun peraturan perundangan; manajemen wakaf yang setengah hati, per-soalan komitmen nadzir, lemahnya sistem pengawasan kelembagaan, dan permasalah-an pendanaan. Lahirnya undang-undang wakaf diyakini sebagai terobosan awal yang memiliki arti signifikan dan strategis dalam rangka memperkuat prospek lembaga perwakafan di Indonesia menjadi lebih baik. Hal ini untuk menunjukkan bahwa wakaf bisa menjadi istrumen syariah untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pembangunan nasional.

Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena semakin tingginya tunggakan perkara di lingkungan Peradilan Agama (PA), yang dari waktu ke waktu semakin bertambah. Secara umum penyebab terjadinya tunggakan perkara adalah adanya perbedaan antara jumlah perkara yang masuk (input) dengan jumlah perkara yang dapat diselesaikan (out put). Fenomena tersebut secara umum disebabkan keterbatasan kemampuan PA dalam menyelesaikan tunggakan perkara, baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Sehingga berakibat proses peradilan tidak berjalan secara cepat atau lambatnya penyelesaian suatu perkara. Dari latar belakang masalah di atas, maka artikel ini berupaya menjelaskan dua hal yaitu: faktor penyebab terjadinya tunggakan perkara di lingkungan PA dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam menanggulangi tunggakan perkara di lingkungan PA.

Hypertension is one of the leading causes of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and death. The prevalence of hypertension in women is higher than that of in men. Women suffering from hypertension potentially experience various problems that affect the quality of life. Several techniques can be used to improve the quality of life for women with hypertension such a husnuzhan training. Husnuzhan training is a kind of Islamic-Psychoreligious intervention. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Husnuzhan training in improving the quality of life among women with hypertension. Twenty women with hypertension aged between 40-50 years participated in the study which employed a pretest-posttest control group design. WHOQOL-BREF instrument was used to assess the quality of life among participants. Husnuzhan Training was delivered for 4 sessions in two weeks. The data were analysed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and U-Mann Whitney. The result showed a significant improvement in the quality of life’s score in the experimental group when compared to the control group (Z = -3.181 & p = 0.001 (p <0.01). U-Mann Whitney test results also showed no difference in quality of life’s score in both groups at baseline phase (Z = -1.212, p = 0.226 (p> 0,05). Therefore, husnuzhan training effectively improved the quality of life in women with hypertension. Limitations of this study were discussed.
