    Abstract A time-of-flight mass spectrometer, optimized for energy-resolved, Auger-electron, multiple-ion coincidence spectrometry suitable for the study of core-hole decay in molecules, is presented. The mass spectrometer collects the entire 4π angular distribution of energetic fragment ions up to 20 eV, while maintaining a low potential gradient in the ionization region to allow Auger-electron energy analysis.

    Jivandhar Jnawali;

    In this work, we present two Newton type iterative methods for finding the solution of nonlinear equations of single variable. One is obtained as variant of McDougall and Wotherspoon method, and another is obtained by amalgamation of Potra and Pta’k method and our newly introduced method. The order of convergence of these methods are 1 + √2 and 3.5615. Some numerical examples are given to compare the performance of these methods with some similar existing methods.

    The golf course landscape is one form of sports area that can be a buffer zone between urban and rural areas. The golf course landscape functions as an area to absorb CO2 in the atmosphere, a windbreaker as well as a habitat for birds. The purpose of this research is to produce an ecologically based golf course landscape plan and design. The planning process includes site inventory surveys, site data analysis, design concept creation, golf course design development, and design development. Stages of site analysis using descriptive methods on the biophysical and physical components of the site. Meanwhile, the data analysis used the stored carbon analysis method is a allometric equation. The results show that in planning the golf course landscape, the landscape is divided into three spaces, namely the game area, maintenance area and service area. Then, landscape planning also determines the proposed contour, proposed drainage, and vegetation selection. The results of the planning are used to design the landscape, where the planting design is determined based on the composition of the vegetation that produces the highest stored carbon, which consists of grass, herbs, shrubs and trees. Then, the selection of vegetation that can bring birds and vegetation that can break the wind. The forms of planning and designing the golf course landscape are in the form of proposed contour drawings, proposed drainage, spatial concepts and three-dimensional visualization of the golf course landscape.

    Abstract The key issue with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO 4 ) is poor ionic conductivity. Electrospinning is one of the best way to increase a surface area. Therefore, electrospinning was presently adopted to solve the kinetic problems associated with the solid-state diffusion of Li + intercalation. In this work, nano-fibers of Li[Fe 1− x Mn x ]PO 4 ( x =0, 0.1, 0.3) were prepared from sol–gel precursor by electrospinning. After calcinations of the precursor nano-fibers at 800 °C, Li[Fe 1− x Mn x ]PO 4 nano-fibers ( x =0, 0.1, 0.3) with a diameter of 100–500 nm were successfully obtained. X-ray diffraction (XRD), videoscope, field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analyses were performed to characterize the properties of the prepared materials. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the morphology change of nano-sized Li[Fe 1− x Mn x ]PO 4 ( x =0, 0.1, 0.3) obtained through electrospinning. Li[Fe 1− x Mn x ]PO 4 ( x =0.1, 0.3) nano-fibers displayed a rough surface due to the increased manganese content. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of its kind.
