    The fauna of the small carrion beetles and round fungus beetles (Leiodidae) of the oceanic islands of the West Indies is reviewed with 11 genera and 81 species recorded. Keys to adults of all genera and species, descriptions, and figures are provided to aid in identification. All species are endemic to the islands of the West Indies. Most species are endemic to a single island, but some species in the Lesser Antilles occur on more than one island. It is certain that more species remain to be discovered, especially on larger and less explored islands. Two new genera are described: Parvocyrtusa (type species Parvocyrtusa hispaniolensis), and Pseudolionothus (type species Pseudolionothus insularis). The genus Pseudoagathidium Angelini is reported from the New World for the first time with one species. The higher taxa and 61 new species and their island distributions are as follows: Cholevinae, Eucatopini, Eucatops Portevin (first West Indian record): E. annulus, Hispaniola. Ptomaphagini, Proptomaphaginus Szymczakowski (four species, no new taxa), Greater Antilles and Bahamas (new genus record).     A search for pair production of the supersymmetric partners of the Higgs boson (higgsinos) in gauge-mediated scenarios is reported. Each higgsino is assumed to decay to a Higgs boson and a gravitino. Two complementary analyses, targeting high- and low-mass signals, are performed to maximize sensitivity. The two analyses utilize LHC $pp$ collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, the former with an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ and the latter with 24.3 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016. The search is performed in events containing missing transverse momentum and several energetic jets, at least three of which must be identified as $b$-quark jets. No significant excess is found above the predicted background. Limits on the cross-section are set as a function of the mass of the higgsino in simplified models assuming production via mass-degenerate higgsinos decaying to a Higgs boson and a gravitino. Higgsinos with masses between 130 and 230 GeV and between 290 and 880 GeV are excluded at the 95% confidence level. Interpretations of the limits in terms of the branching ratio of the higgsino to a $Z$ boson or a Higgs boson are also presented, and a 45% branching ratio to a Higgs boson is excluded for m(higgsino) approximately 400 GeV.   • CERN-LHC. Results from a search is presented for pair production of a new heavy quark ($Q$) that decays into a $W$ boson and a light quark ($q$) in the final state where one $W$ boson decays leptonically (to an electron or muon plus a neutrino) and the other $W$ boson decays hadronically. The analysis is performed using an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. No evidence of $Q\bar{Q}$ production is observed. New chiral quarks with masses below 690 GeV are excluded at 95% confidence level, assuming BR$(Q\to Wq)=1$. Results are also interpreted in the context of vectorlike quark models, resulting in the limits on the mass of a vectorlike quark in the two-dimensional plane of BR$(Q\to Wq)$ versus BR$(Q\to Hq)$ The main selection requirements for this analysis were: - exactly one isolated lepton with pT(lep) > 25 GeV - missing transverse momentum ETmiss > 30 GeV - "transverse" W mass + ETmiss > 60 GeV - at least four jets with pT(jet) > 25 GeV - zero b-jets - a leptonic W candidate consisting of the lepton+ETmiss system with pT > 125 GeV - a hadronic W candidate consisting of a dijet system with pT > 200 GeV, 65 GeV < mass 100 GeV, and deltaR < 1.0 between the two jets. - two reconstructed heavy quarks (W+1jet systems) with a mass difference less than 120 GeV - At least two jets (not used for the hadronic W) with pT > 120 GeV. - At least one jet (not used for the hadronic W) with pT > 160 GeV. - Scalar sum of |pT| from hadronic W, leptonic W, and two highest pT jets not used for hadronic W must be > 1.1 TeV - Angular cuts between reconstructed objects (see details in paper).     A search for direct pair production of top squarks in final states with two tau leptons, $b$-jets, and missing transverse momentum is presented. The analysis is based on proton--proton collision data at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1/fb recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2015 and 2016. Two exclusive channels with either two hadronically decaying tau leptons or one hadronically and one leptonically decaying tau lepton are considered. No significant deviation from the Standard Model predictions is observed in the data. The analysis results are interpreted in terms of model-independent limits and used to derive exclusion limits on the masses of the top squark $\tilde t_1$ and the tau slepton $\tilde \tau_1$ in a simplified model of Supersymmetry with a nearly massless gravitino. In this model, masses up to $m(\tilde t_1) =$ 1.16 TeV and $m(\tilde \tau_1) =$ 1.00 TeV are excluded at 95\% confidence level. Truth code to compute acceptance

    Measurements of the fast and precise movements of the eye—critical to many vision, oculomotor, and animal behavior studies—can be made non-invasively by video oculography. The protocol here describes the construction and operation of a research-grade video oculography system with ~0.1° precision over the full typical viewing range at over 450 Hz with tight synchronization with stimulus onset. The protocol consists of three stages: (1) system assembly, (2) calibration for both cooperative, and for minimally cooperative subjects (e.g., animals or infants), and (3) gaze monitoring and recording.

    A search for pair production of the supersymmetric partners of the Higgs boson (higgsinos) in gauge-mediated scenarios is reported. Each higgsino is assumed to decay to a Higgs boson and a gravitino. Two complementary analyses, targeting high- and low-mass signals, are performed to maximize sensitivity. The two analyses utilize LHC $pp$ collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, the former with an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ and the latter with 24.3 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016. The search is performed in events containing missing transverse momentum and several energetic jets, at least three of which must be identified as $b$-quark jets. No significant excess is found above the predicted background. Limits on the cross-section are set as a function of the mass of the higgsino in simplified models assuming production via mass-degenerate higgsinos decaying to a Higgs boson and a gravitino. Higgsinos with masses between 130 and 230 GeV and between 290 and 880 GeV are excluded at the 95% confidence level. Interpretations of the limits in terms of the branching ratio of the higgsino to a $Z$ boson or a Higgs boson are also presented, and a 45% branching ratio to a Higgs boson is excluded for m(higgsino) approximately 400 GeV.   • CERN-LHC. Results from a search is presented for pair production of a new heavy quark ($Q$) that decays into a $W$ boson and a light quark ($q$) in the final state where one $W$ boson decays leptonically (to an electron or muon plus a neutrino) and the other $W$ boson decays hadronically. The analysis is performed using an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. No evidence of $Q\bar{Q}$ production is observed. New chiral quarks with masses below 690 GeV are excluded at 95% confidence level, assuming BR$(Q\to Wq)=1$. Results are also interpreted in the context of vectorlike quark models, resulting in the limits on the mass of a vectorlike quark in the two-dimensional plane of BR$(Q\to Wq)$ versus BR$(Q\to Hq)$ The main selection requirements for this analysis were: - exactly one isolated lepton with pT(lep) > 25 GeV - missing transverse momentum ETmiss > 30 GeV - "transverse" W mass + ETmiss > 60 GeV - at least four jets with pT(jet) > 25 GeV - zero b-jets - a leptonic W candidate consisting of the lepton+ETmiss system with pT > 125 GeV - a hadronic W candidate consisting of a dijet system with pT > 200 GeV, 65 GeV < mass 100 GeV, and deltaR < 1.0 between the two jets. - two reconstructed heavy quarks (W+1jet systems) with a mass difference less than 120 GeV - At least two jets (not used for the hadronic W) with pT > 120 GeV. - At least one jet (not used for the hadronic W) with pT > 160 GeV. - Scalar sum of |pT| from hadronic W, leptonic W, and two highest pT jets not used for hadronic W must be > 1.1 TeV - Angular cuts between reconstructed objects (see details in paper).
