    Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is one type of wood mushroom that is used as a vegetable and processed food. In the cultivation of oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus), seeds are a determining factor. This study aims to obtain the best media composition in the growth of oyster mushroom F2 seedlings (Pleurotus ostreatus). The research conducted at the Amuntai STIPER Laboratory from April to June 2013, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 5 treatments and 4 replications. As a treatment, the composition of media (K) is (k1) 80% corn: 18% sawdust: 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4, (k2) 70% corn: 28% sawdust: 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4, ( k3) 60% corn: 38% sawdust: 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4, (k4) 50% corn: 48% sawdust: 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4, (k5) 40% corn: 58% sawdust : 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4. Observation data were analyzed by variance and DMRT follow-up at 5% level. The parameters observed were the growth of mycelium horizontally and vertically. The results showed that media composition (k2) 70% corn: 28% sawdust: 1% CaCO3: 1% CaSO4 gave the best results for F2 seedling growth

    Astronomy is special scientific discipline in Islam as it relates to daily Muslim worship practices. In the Mamalik era (1250-1517), especially in Cairo and Damascus regions, Islamic astronomy has developed significantly as can be seen in the new discoveries of astronomical instruments. However, Islamic astronomy in the era of Mamalik conceals a very large amount of scientific knowledge that needs further discussion. As mentioned by King, there were a dozen of Islamic schbolars in astronomy whose treatises and ideas are unrevealed. Therefore contemporary astronomical studies run in higher educational institutions, should also seriously be focused on examining classical knowledge in astronomy. This article discusses the history and develop- ment of Islamic astronomy in the era of Mamalik and their contribution to the body of scientific knowledge in as- tronomy in that period

    Changes in watershed land Tamiang cause flash floods and landslides of December 2006. This study aims to identify land cover and areas that need to be rehabilitated based on Landsat TM 5 satellite image of year 2006, determining the type of plants that are prioritized using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). The total watershed area is 492,647.50 Ha.Total Tamiang all locations Gerhan in protected areas amounted to 286,102.32 hectares of watershed Tamiang. Based on that done for menkonservasikan Gerhan Tamiang watershed, the need for selection of plant species which are prioritized in terms of economic, social, cultural and ecological order of community participation is very important. The species of each zone which are prioritized according to experts consisting of zone I with altitude and slope 0-1200 masl, 0-15%, ie 0.149 rambutan. Zone II, with an altitude of 1200-2400 masl and slopes, 15-40% is the Avocado of .202 and zone III, 2400-3000 masl altitude and slope, ≥ 40% is Meranti amounted to 0.383. 051201008

    History of the relationship between Indonesia and Japan started with Japanese migration to Dutch`s East India (Indonesia) in the end of 19 century. At that time, Japanese did economic activities and made colonies not only in big cities such as Batavia (Jakarta), Medan and Surabaya but especially in Java which spread to small towns and villages. This paper will focus on the background of the Japanese migration to Java and Japanese migrants opinion about Java. The diary written by Okano Shigezo, one of the Japanese migrant at that time, used as main data sources beside the interview note with Kondo Sadaaki documented in Tokutei Kenkyuu Bunka Masatsu (Specific Research on Cultures) and stories of Japanese migrants life in Java before World War II as written in Jagatara Kanwa (Stories of Jakarta).

Tidak ada aktivitas yang dilakukan tanpa komunikasi, sebab seseorang dapat berinteraksi dengan orang lain dengan komunikasi. Komunikasi keluarga sangatlah penting dalam proses membentuk pemahan keagamaan pada diri anak. Tujuan komunikasi dalam interaksi keluarga ditinjau dari kepentingan orang tua adalah untuk memberikan informasi, nasihat, mendidik dan menyenangkan anak-anak.     Penanaman jagung dengan kacang tanah dapat menjadi pilihan yang ideal dalam penerapan pola tanam tumpangsari. Nitrogen yang berasal dari tanaman kacang tanah dapat membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan N tanaman jagung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi pemupukan urea dan penggunaan lahan pada pola tanam tumpangsari jagung dan kacang tanah dalam meningkatkan hasil jagung. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan kelompok teracak sempurna (RKTS) dengan sembilan perlakuan yang diulang tiga kali, yaitu tumpangsari jagung dan kacang tanah dengan tujuh taraf dosis pupuk masing-masing 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, dan 300 kg urea/ha, monokultur kacang tanah, dan monokultur jagung. Pengelompokan didasarkan pada waktu pengamatan. Homogenitas ragam diuji dengan uji Barlett, kemenambahan data diuji dengan uji Tukey, dan untuk pemisahan nilai tengah dilakukan uji perbandingan ortogonal pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju tumbuh tanaman, laju pengisian biji, bobot pipilan kering, dan indeks panen jagung pada pola tanam monokultur lebih baik dibanding pada pola tanam tumpangsari. Penerapan tumpangsari jagung dan kacang tanah tidak menunjukkan efisiensi pemupukan urea secara agronomis karena peningkatan bobot pipilan kering jagung hanya sebesar 0,004 t/ha (4 kg/ ha) setiap peningkatan dosis 1 kg urea/ha, namun pada lahan tumpangsari jagung dan kacang tanah dengan dosis 200, 250, dan 300 kg urea/ha menunjukkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan dengan nilai LER masing-masing 1,18, 1,19, dan 1,30.

    Diarrhea and cholera are an infection of the digestive system with watery stools conditions that can not be controlled disposal. Current technology is just a simple bed with a hole in the center, or bipots. Because of these conditions we made TOP (Toilet Otomatis Pasien) which is an automatic toilet design with mass measurement technology. The main cause of death of patients is the lack of the amount of fluids in the body. By knowing the mass of feces, doctor can control body fluids and provide appropriate treatment. TOP extremely hygienic design with a channel that connect directly to a portable dump. TOP tools will help the medical world to handle muntaber and colera patient.

    Water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) is a one of the feed materials from the green plants a potential. Howefer, the water hyacinth are low of protein and high fiber contents. Therefore, there should be efforts intentionally done to increase the leaf protein. One the ways to raise water hyacinth nutrient is performing biologically fermentation by using microbes. The Kombucha organism is a symbiotic colony of yeast's and bacteria that composed by strong membrane that covers gelatinous mass. Kombucha microorganism is living together with permeate the tea drink. The objective of this research is to know the effect of Kombucha to increased crude protein and decreased crude fiber contents in water hyacinth fermentation. The advantage of the research is to provide information regarding a Kombucha dosage which is required to enhance crude protein and reduce crude fiber content on water hyacinth fermentation. The research used water hyacinth as substrate and Kombucha as fermentor. Kombucha dosaged used here were P0 (0%), P1 (7,5%), P2 (15%) and P3 (22,5%). The fermentation took place 7 days and then proceeded with proximate analysis. Variables observed consisted of crude protein and crude fiber contents after being fermented using Kombucha. The result showed that Kombucha that was used for fermenting water hyacinth, could increase the crude protein content from 13,3040 % (P0) to 15,9972% (P3) and not significantly reduce the crude fiber. The Kombucha dosage at 7,5% (P1) was most effective for fermenting the water hyacinth.

    Water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) is a one of the feed materials from the green plants a potential. Howefer, the water hyacinth are low of protein and high fiber contents. Therefore, there should be efforts intentionally done to increase the leaf protein. One the ways to raise water hyacinth nutrient is performing biologically fermentation by using microbes. The Kombucha organism is a symbiotic colony of yeast's and bacteria that composed by strong membrane that covers gelatinous mass. Kombucha microorganism is living together with permeate the tea drink. The objective of this research is to know the effect of Kombucha to increased crude protein and decreased crude fiber contents in water hyacinth fermentation. The advantage of the research is to provide information regarding a Kombucha dosage which is required to enhance crude protein and reduce crude fiber content on water hyacinth fermentation. The research used water hyacinth as substrate and Kombucha as fermentor. Kombucha dosaged used here were P0 (0%), P1 (7,5%), P2 (15%) and P3 (22,5%). The fermentation took place 7 days and then proceeded with proximate analysis. Variables observed consisted of crude protein and crude fiber contents after being fermented using Kombucha. The result showed that Kombucha that was used for fermenting water hyacinth, could increase the crude protein content from 13,3040 % (P0) to 15,9972% (P3) and not significantly reduce the crude fiber. The Kombucha dosage at 7,5% (P1) was most effective for fermenting the water hyacinth.
