We consider a finite one-dimensional chain of quantum rotors interacting with a set of thermal baths at different temperatures. When the interaction between the rotors is made chiral, such a system behaves as an autonomous thermal motor, converting heat currents into non-vanishing rotational ones. Such a dynamical response is strongly pronounced in the range of the Hamiltonian parameters for which the ground state of the system in the thermodynamic limit exhibits a quantum phase transition. Such working points are associated with large quantum coherence and multipartite quantum correlations within the state of the system. This suggests that the optimal operating regime of such quantum autonomous motor is one of maximal quantumness. 9 pages, 9 figures Peer reviewed

For the development of data analysis, a growth rate model was estimated and a sample of 136 countries for the years 2005 and 2009 was collected. Results reveal that, for the development of policies to stimulate the growth in the business tourism segment, countries should develop measures that encourage capital investment in tourism, leisure tourism and trade openness. In this article we present an approach to the new spirituality. In contemporary world we find atheistic and spiritual people. How is this possible? We try to analyze. First we make an approach to the concept of religion. We present a historical perspective of the concept. An atheistic religion is possible depending on the definition of religion we use. Also we analyze, as an example of the context of the twentieth century, Sigmund Freud forecast around the end of religions and analyze the causes of failure.

Europe has a long continental and island coastline along which many human activities are concentrated. Coastal aquifer development is often intensive and subject to salinity problems as a result of seawater intrusion, upconing of deep saline water, and residual salinity in aquitards. These coastal aquifers are important freshwater sources that risk being salinized by different processes. Often important coastal aquifers are of relatively small size but crucial to supply human needs, which vary from mostly urban and industrial supply in mid to high latitudes, to dominantly seasonal for irrigation and tourism in the Mediterranean area and many of the islands. To prevent quality loss through salinization, management is needed. This is a complex objective, full of difficulties and with scarce experience. Solutions are highly dependent on local circumstances. Some aquifers are carefully studied, monitored and managed. Examples can be found in different countries, such as The Netherlands, Belgium, and northeastern Spain.

[Abstract] Introduction: During childhood, the most significant areas of occupation in which most of the time is spent are leisure and free time and play, often connected. Moreover, these activities are highly relevant in terms of occupational balance and development. Sometimes people do not reach a satisfactory level of performance in this occupation, and this is more common in people with some kind of functional diversity. This study is based on the reasoning of the importance of knowing the different socio-demographic variables that influence participation in leisure activities, in order to address them with the aim of achieving, to the greatest extent possible, equal opportunities in terms of access to this occupation, as well as real inclusion in it. Aim: The main objective of this project is to explore the different opportunities for leisure and social participation in the school population. Methodology: A quantitative research project is proposed, with a cross-sectional descriptive design study, for which an observational methodology has been used. This will be carried out using the standardised PEM-CY tool and an ad-hoc questionnaire to complete the information obtained by the tool. Traballo fin de grao (UDC.FCS). Terapia ocupacional.
