Precessing binary-black-hole numerical relativity catalogue (minimal data release)

Abstract

This catalogue has been produced using the resources provided by the DiRAC@Durham facility managed by the Institute for Computational Cosmology on behalf of the STFC DiRAC HPC Facility (www.dirac.ac.uk). The equipment was funded by BEIS capital funding via STFC capital grants ST/P002293/1, ST/R002371/1 and ST/S002502/1, Durham University and STFC operations grant ST/R000832/1. DiRAC is part of the National e-Infrastructure. Additionally, this research was undertaken using the supercomputing facilities at Cardiff University operated by Advanced Research Computing at Cardiff (ARCCA) on behalf of the Cardiff Supercomputing Facility and the HPC Wales and Supercomputing Wales (SCW) projects. We acknowledge the support of the latter, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) via the Welsh Government. This work was also supported in part by Oracle Cloud credits and related resources provided by the Oracle for Research program.

This page contains the minimal data release associated with the catalogue presented in A catalogue of precessing black-hole-binary numerical-relativity simulations. This catalogue contains 80 single-spin precessing black-hole-binary configurations. The content of the data release is described here, along with instructions on how to parse the data.
