Abstract

This dataset contains a recording of the 435 MHz telemetry signals of the DELFI-PQ, EASAT-2, HADES PocketQubes and other amateur satellites in the SpaceX Transporter 3 launch. The recording was done on 2022-01-15, two days after launch. Antennas 1a and 1f from the Allen Telescope Array were used in dual XY (linear) polarization. The hardware configuration was as follows: the two antennas were connected to RFCB LO d, which was tuned to a frequency of 436.5 MHz and used an output IF of 512 MHz. A USRP N321 and a USRP N320 were connected to the IF output of the RFCB. The USRP N321 and digitized both polarizations of antenna 1a, and the USRP N320 digitized both polarizations of antenna 1f. Both USRPs used external 10 MHz reference and PPS coming from the observatory distribution system, and LO sharing was set up among all the channels. The IQ sample rate of the USRP was 3.84 Msps and a GNU Radio flowgraph was used to record IQ data to disk. The GNU Radio flowgraph stored the IQ data for each channel as 16-bin integers in the GNU Radio metatata file format, with detached headers. After recording, the data was converted to SigMF format. This dataset contains the data for antenna 1f. The data for antenna 1a is in the dataset Recording of DELFI-PQ/EASAT-2/HADES PocketQubes and other amateur satellites in the SpaceX Transporter 3 launch with the Allen Telescope Array on 2022-01-15 (antenna 1a). The sigmf-collection file grouping all the recordings is provided in both datasets for convenience. Due to the lack of reliable TLEs, during the first part of the recording, the following TLE was tracked: 1 99489U 22013.68438100 .00000000 00000-0 57534-2 0 06 2 99489 97.5121 83.3548 0000001 54.9139 307.6602 15.14117915 08 This TLE was fitted to previous Doppler observations of DELFI-PQ done by amateurs. After this object set, the following TLE was tracked: 1 70302C 22002B 22013.68430822 .00096806 00000-0 57494-2 0 02 2 70302 97.5121 83.3548 0012811 276.7340 85.5055 15.11291562 14 This comes from the post-deployment TLEs in Celestrak for DELFI-PQ/EASAT-2/HADES.
