Abstract
Accurate modeling and simulation of the storage tank behaviour plays a significant role in the management of the chilled-water storage system. However, the increased complexity of such systems, poses new challenges for the traditional modeling and simulation programs due to the need of higher level of abstraction and modularization. In an effort to approach these challenges, we present in this paper a model development of a chilled-water storage tank, via an object-oriented modeling approach.
