  • The MIBiG (Minimum Information about a Biosynthetic Gene Cluster) Repository stores Biosynthetic Gene Clusters (BGC) that are manually curated through community efforts. It is a central reference database for BGCs of known function, and provides the basis for comparative analyses for a number of tools. It has enabled many computational analyses of BGC function and novelty central to both small and large-scale studies of microbes and microbial communities.

  • The AlphaFill databank contains computational structure models from the AlphaFold Protein Structure Database that are enriched with co-factor, ligand and ion coordinates that are transplanted from experimental structure models (from PDB-REDO) by homology. The level of sequence identity, the global and local structure similarity, and the atomic clashes between the transplant and the protein are used as descriptors to assess transplant quality. The web interface also allows the filling of user-provided structure models.
