WPSS stands for Web Panel Sample Service. It is a web application paired with the Qualtrics survey platform to meet the specific needs of high quality cross-national web surveys. WPSS enables: - a centralised management of survey fielding orchestration (publishing, sending invites and reminders), - and decentralised and privacy-compliant handling of panelist data. WPSS has been specified and developped within the framework of SSHOC, the Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud H2020, as part of the Work Package "Innovations in data production", led by ESS-ERIC. The software was developped by the CDSP's IT team at Sciences Po. Use cases can be found in the Social Sciences and Humanities but may extend to broader contexts as well. From October 2021 to June 2023, WPSS supports its first full-scale use case, within the frame of the European Social Survey for the web panel spinoff of ESS round 10, "Opinion Survey for (Country) "also known as the CRONOS-2 project.

This package enables building and handling triangulations of point sets on the two dimensional hyperbolic Bolza surface. Triangulations are built incrementally and can be modified by insertion or removal of vertices. Point location facilities are also offered. The package provides Delaunay triangulations and offers primitives to build the dual Voronoi diagrams.

En région méditerranéenne, le pollen des Cupressacées (Cyprès, Genévriers, Thuyas…) représente le tiers de tous les pollens. En fin d’hiver, il provoque des allergies allant du simple désagrément aux rhinites et conjonctivites. Ces allergies causent un véritable problème de santé publique. La période de pollinisation s’étend sur plusieurs mois en raison du nombre important d’espèces à l’origine du pollen. Le cyprès vert (Cupressus sempervirens) et le cyprès bleu (Cupressus arizonica) sont les premiers contributeurs. Ils pollinisent en début d'année, de janvier à avril. Des recherches intégrées pour la prévention de l’allergie au pollen de cyprès sont développées dans le cadre d'une collaboration entre généticien-botanistes (INRA-PACA), palynologues (Montpellier SupAgro) et allergologues (Hôpital Nord de Marseille - Université de la Méditerranée). CartoPollen, un outil de prévision spatio-temporelle des émissions de pollen permet d’informer les personnes sensibles et les professionnels de santé sur l’exposition potentielle. Initialement mis en oeuvre sur la région Languedoc-Roussillon grâce à l'appui du Groupement Régional de Santé Publique (GRSP), Cartopollen a été étendu en 2012 à la région PACA avec le soutien des Agences Régionales de Santé (ARS ).

The C4TS++ library, that stands for "Concepts for Template Specialization in C++", provides an implementation for the C++ language to define concepts and refinements of concepts, and to use them to specify unambiguous specializations of generic components.In generic programming, software components are parameterized on types. When available, a static specialization mechanism allows selecting, for a given set of parameters, a more suitable version of a generic component than its primary version. The normal C++ template specialization mechanism is based on the type pattern of the parameters, which is not always the best way to guide the specialization process: type patterns are missing some information on types that could be relevant to define specializations.The notion of a "concept", which represents a set of requirements (including syntactic and semantic aspects) for a type, is known to be an interesting approach to control template specialization. For many reasons, concepts were dropped from C++11 standard, this library is therefore based on template metaprogramming techniques for declaring concepts, "modeling" relationships (meaning that a type fulfills the requirements of a concept), and "refinement" relationships (meaning that a concept refines the requirements of another concept).From a taxonomy of concepts and template specializations based on concepts, an automatic mechanism selects the most appropriate version of a generic component for a given instantiation. Our purely library-based solution is also open for retroactive extension: new concepts, relationships, and template specializations can be defined at any time; such additions will then be picked up by the specialization mechanism.
