    Bakalaureusetöös käsitletakse parameetriliste Bezier’ liitkõverate konstrueerimist. Defineeritakse Bernsteini baaspolünoomi, Bezier’ kõvera, polaarkuju ja Bezier’ liitkõvera mõisted ning vaadeldakse nende tähtsamaid omadusi ja nendevahelisi seoseid. Tutvustatakse de Casteljau algoritmi ja uuritakse Bezier’ kõverate ühendamist ja nii ruut- kui ka kuupkõveratega interpoleerimist. Defineeritakse subdivision kui osadeks jaotamine ning ka kui meetod olemasoleva polügoni (murdjoone) parendamiseks tippude lisamise teel. Tutvustatakse nelja subdivision algoritmi.

    Geneetiline korrelatsioon näitab, kui tugevalt on kahe fenotüübi geenidest mõjutatud osad omavahel seotud. Bakalaureusetöös antakse ülevaade ühest selle hindamise meetodist - LD-skoori regressioon. Töö eesmärk on veenduda selle paikapidavuses nii teoorias kui ka praktikas, et seejärel seda rakendada. Tutvustatakse asjakohaseid geneetika termineid, mille abil selgitatakse meetodi olemust. Lisaks viiakse läbi simulatsioon, et võrrelda meetodi hinnangu käitumist erinevates olukordades. Lõpetuseks hinnatakse ülegenoomsete assotsiatsioonuuringute andmetelt seitsme tunnuse vahelised geneetilised korrelatsioonid.

    Käesolevas bakalaureusetöös antakse ülevaade lokaalsest pöördemeetodist ning võrreldakse seda teiste tuntud valikumeetoditega, rakendades neid reaalsete andmetel. Andmed pärinevad hüpoteetilise küla StatVillage andmebaasist. Töö teooriaosas kirjeldatakse lühidalt teisi tuntud valikumeetodeid, täpsem ülevaade antakse lokaalsest pöördemeetodist ja tuuakse näide, kuidas seda kasutada. Praktilises osas rakendatakse Monte-Carlo simulatsiooni, et välja selgitada, milline valikumeetod annab kõige parema tulemuse StatVillage andmete korral. Lisaks sellele, lokaalse pöördemeetodiga leitud valimi tasakaalustatust üldkogumi teiste objektide suhtes võrreldakse lihtsa juhusliku valiku abil saadud valimiga.

    Bakalaureusetöö eesmärk on võrrelda omavahel logistilist regressioonimudelit ja aditiivset logistilist mudelit binaarses klassifitseerimisülesandes. Töö teoreetilises osas antakse ülevaade klassifitseerimise ideest, logistilisest regressioonimudelist ning põhjalikumalt vaadeldakse üldistatud aditiivset mudelit ja selle erijuhtu – aditiivset logistilist mudelit. Praktilises osas rakendatakse mõlemaid mudeleid saarlaste antropoloogilistel mõõtmistel puht- ja segasaarlaste klassifitseerimiseks. Saadud mudeleid võrreldakse tehisõppe kontekstis, ristvalideerimise teel hinnatakse nende prognoosivõimet uute andmete korral.

    Protseduuriline genereerimine leiab arvutigraafikas kasutust suurte virtuaalsete maailmade loomises. See lubab väiksemate failidega luua palju andmeid, tekitades seejuures juhuslikkust, mis muudab genereeritavad andmed ettearvamatuks. Antud töö eesmärk on luua ja kirjeldada süsteemi linna protseduuriliseks genereerimiseks. Lahendus võimaldab tekitada juhusliku välimusega linna, mis võtab arvesse kasutaja etteantud parameetreid. Linn sisaldab endas teedesüsteemi, visuaalselt eristatavaid rajoone ja puid. Lisaks antud töö raames välja töötatud lahendusele kirjeldatakse eelnevalt tehtud teadustööd keskkonna protseduurilises genereerimises. Antakse ettepanekuid ka valminud algoritmi edasiarendamiseks. In English: Procedural generation is used in computer graphics to construct large virtual worlds. It allows to create a significant amount of data with a small number of files, producing randomness in the process which makes the generated data unpredictable. The aim of this thesis is to create and describe a system for the procedural generation of a city. The solution allows to create a city with a random appearance that takes into account parameters given by the user. The city includes a road system, visually distinguishable regions, and trees. In addition to the solution developed in this thesis, previously created scientific work in the field of procedural environment generation is described. Proposals for further development of the created algorithm are also given.

    Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö peaeesmärk on uurida noori saarlasi nende antropomeetriliste mõõtmete alusel. Uurimiseks kasutatakse peakomponentide analüüsi, mida kirjeldatakse töö esimeses osas. Töö teises osas antakse ülevaade töös kasutatavast andmestikust, mille kogujaks oli 1932. aastal antropoloog Juhan Aul. Andmestik sisaldab aastatel 1916-1918 sündinud noorte saarlaste antropomeetriliste mõõtmiste tulemusi. Antud töö raames arvutati ja lisati algandmestikule juurde antropomeetrilisi indekseid. Töö kolmandas osas tutvustatakse neid indekseid ja kirjeldatakse noori saarlasi nende abil. Viimases osas teostatakse peakomponentide analüüs andmestiku põhjal. Analüüsi tulemusena kontrollitakse hüpoteesi, kas eri piirkondade saarlased erinevad oma antropoloogiliste mõõtmete osas, ning leitakse üldisemalt, millistesse rühmadesse noored saarlased jagunevad.

    Antud töö eesmärgiks on uurida lihtsaid alternatiivseid meetodeid tõenäosusjaotuste kvantimiseks. Alternatiivsed meetodid põhinevad asümptootilisest kvantimisteooriast pärit tulemusel, mille kohaselt juhusliku suuruse X korral, mille tihedusfunktsiooniks on f(x), on optimaalsete kvantimispunktide jaotus tihedusfunktsiooniga f*(x) = c · f^(1/3)(x), kus c on normeerimistegur. Et hinnata alternatiivsete meetodite headust võrreldakse nende abil saadud tulemusi optimaalsete kvantimispunktidega, mis leitakse Lloyd-Max’i algoritmi abil. Lisaks hinnatakse, kas alternatiivsetel meetoditel leitud kvantimispunktid sobivad Lloyd-Max’i algoritmi alglähenditeks, et algoritmi tööd kiirendada. Uuritud on normaaljaotust, ühtlast jaotust, eksponentjaotust, hii-ruut jaotust ning gamma-jaotust.

    Ravimisoostumus on näitaja, mis annab infot, kui hästi patsient oma ravi järgib. Eriti krooniliste haigete puhul on tähtis ettenähtud ravimiskeemi korrektne järgimine, et saavutada ravis soovitud edu. Bakalaureusetöö eesmärk on anda ülevaade olemasolevatest ravimisoostumuse uurimise metoodikatest ning rakendada neid Eesti astmapatsientide andmetel. Samuti saada tulemuseks algoritm, mis patsiendi ajalooliste andmete põhjal hindab, kui suure tõenäosusega järgib ta raviskeemi ka tulevikus. Töö esimene osa võtab kokku ravimimeetodid astmas ja metoodikad soostumuse arvutamiseks. Töö teine pool uurib soostumust konkreetsete andmete peal, leiab soostumuste hinnangud ning ehitab ennustava mudeli.

    Covid-19 puhangust inspireerituna sooviti uurida SIR-mudeli (nakatumata, nakatunud, tervenenud) kasutamist Covid-19 ja teiste viirushaiguste levikul. Selleks loodi kõigepealt lihtsakoeline diskreetse ajaga mudel, mille alusel inimestele juhuslikult kindel kontakte määratakse ja nad jäävad fikseeritud tõenäosusega haigeks. Haigusperioodi jooksul inimesed võivad olla kõigepealt nakkusohutud ja seejärel muutuvad nad nakkusohtlikuks. Seejärel muudetakse nad tervenenudeks. Pärast lihtsama mudeli koostamist taandati mudel kõigepealt neljale muutujale, et saaks suuremamahulisi populatsioone arvutis kergemini simuleerida. Sellest omakorda arendati välja mudelid, millega sai kirjeldada vanuse-/riskigruppide erinevuseid ja omavahelise suhtluse mõju nakkusele. Kirjeldatakse ka mudeleid, mis kasutavad pidevat aega. Töö viimane osa toob näiteid, kus mudelit rakendatakse.

    Bakalaureusetöös analüüsitakse andmestikku, mis koosneb kindlustusfirma töötajate poolt vastatud küsimustiku vastustest. Küsimustik koosnes kahekümne ühest isikuomadusest ning osalejad pidid hindama nii kolleege kui ka ennast. Analüüsiks kasutati David A. Kenny väljatöötatud mudelit sotsiaalsete seoste analüüsiks (Kenny, 1994). Töös vaadeldakse iga isikuomadust eraldi, analüüsides neid ainsa muutujana. Analüüsitakse kovariatsioone ja korrelatsioone, mida TripleR pakett andmete põhjal väljastab, ning leitakse vastus küsimusele, kas isiksushinnangud sõltuvad hinnatava sümpaatsusest või tundmisest.

    Bakalaureusetöös käsitletakse parameetriliste Bezier’ liitkõverate konstrueerimist. Defineeritakse Bernsteini baaspolünoomi, Bezier’ kõvera, polaarkuju ja Bezier’ liitkõvera mõisted ning vaadeldakse nende tähtsamaid omadusi ja nendevahelisi seoseid. Tutvustatakse de Casteljau algoritmi ja uuritakse Bezier’ kõverate ühendamist ja nii ruut- kui ka kuupkõveratega interpoleerimist. Defineeritakse subdivision kui osadeks jaotamine ning ka kui meetod olemasoleva polügoni (murdjoone) parendamiseks tippude lisamise teel. Tutvustatakse nelja subdivision algoritmi.

    Geneetiline korrelatsioon näitab, kui tugevalt on kahe fenotüübi geenidest mõjutatud osad omavahel seotud. Bakalaureusetöös antakse ülevaade ühest selle hindamise meetodist - LD-skoori regressioon. Töö eesmärk on veenduda selle paikapidavuses nii teoorias kui ka praktikas, et seejärel seda rakendada. Tutvustatakse asjakohaseid geneetika termineid, mille abil selgitatakse meetodi olemust. Lisaks viiakse läbi simulatsioon, et võrrelda meetodi hinnangu käitumist erinevates olukordades. Lõpetuseks hinnatakse ülegenoomsete assotsiatsioonuuringute andmetelt seitsme tunnuse vahelised geneetilised korrelatsioonid.

    Käesolevas bakalaureusetöös antakse ülevaade lokaalsest pöördemeetodist ning võrreldakse seda teiste tuntud valikumeetoditega, rakendades neid reaalsete andmetel. Andmed pärinevad hüpoteetilise küla StatVillage andmebaasist. Töö teooriaosas kirjeldatakse lühidalt teisi tuntud valikumeetodeid, täpsem ülevaade antakse lokaalsest pöördemeetodist ja tuuakse näide, kuidas seda kasutada. Praktilises osas rakendatakse Monte-Carlo simulatsiooni, et välja selgitada, milline valikumeetod annab kõige parema tulemuse StatVillage andmete korral. Lisaks sellele, lokaalse pöördemeetodiga leitud valimi tasakaalustatust üldkogumi teiste objektide suhtes võrreldakse lihtsa juhusliku valiku abil saadud valimiga.

    Bakalaureusetöö eesmärk on võrrelda omavahel logistilist regressioonimudelit ja aditiivset logistilist mudelit binaarses klassifitseerimisülesandes. Töö teoreetilises osas antakse ülevaade klassifitseerimise ideest, logistilisest regressioonimudelist ning põhjalikumalt vaadeldakse üldistatud aditiivset mudelit ja selle erijuhtu – aditiivset logistilist mudelit. Praktilises osas rakendatakse mõlemaid mudeleid saarlaste antropoloogilistel mõõtmistel puht- ja segasaarlaste klassifitseerimiseks. Saadud mudeleid võrreldakse tehisõppe kontekstis, ristvalideerimise teel hinnatakse nende prognoosivõimet uute andmete korral.

    Protseduuriline genereerimine leiab arvutigraafikas kasutust suurte virtuaalsete maailmade loomises. See lubab väiksemate failidega luua palju andmeid, tekitades seejuures juhuslikkust, mis muudab genereeritavad andmed ettearvamatuks. Antud töö eesmärk on luua ja kirjeldada süsteemi linna protseduuriliseks genereerimiseks. Lahendus võimaldab tekitada juhusliku välimusega linna, mis võtab arvesse kasutaja etteantud parameetreid. Linn sisaldab endas teedesüsteemi, visuaalselt eristatavaid rajoone ja puid. Lisaks antud töö raames välja töötatud lahendusele kirjeldatakse eelnevalt tehtud teadustööd keskkonna protseduurilises genereerimises. Antakse ettepanekuid ka valminud algoritmi edasiarendamiseks. In English: Procedural generation is used in computer graphics to construct large virtual worlds. It allows to create a significant amount of data with a small number of files, producing randomness in the process which makes the generated data unpredictable. The aim of this thesis is to create and describe a system for the procedural generation of a city. The solution allows to create a city with a random appearance that takes into account parameters given by the user. The city includes a road system, visually distinguishable regions, and trees. In addition to the solution developed in this thesis, previously created scientific work in the field of procedural environment generation is described. Proposals for further development of the created algorithm are also given.

    Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö peaeesmärk on uurida noori saarlasi nende antropomeetriliste mõõtmete alusel. Uurimiseks kasutatakse peakomponentide analüüsi, mida kirjeldatakse töö esimeses osas. Töö teises osas antakse ülevaade töös kasutatavast andmestikust, mille kogujaks oli 1932. aastal antropoloog Juhan Aul. Andmestik sisaldab aastatel 1916-1918 sündinud noorte saarlaste antropomeetriliste mõõtmiste tulemusi. Antud töö raames arvutati ja lisati algandmestikule juurde antropomeetrilisi indekseid. Töö kolmandas osas tutvustatakse neid indekseid ja kirjeldatakse noori saarlasi nende abil. Viimases osas teostatakse peakomponentide analüüs andmestiku põhjal. Analüüsi tulemusena kontrollitakse hüpoteesi, kas eri piirkondade saarlased erinevad oma antropoloogiliste mõõtmete osas, ning leitakse üldisemalt, millistesse rühmadesse noored saarlased jagunevad.

    Antud töö eesmärgiks on uurida lihtsaid alternatiivseid meetodeid tõenäosusjaotuste kvantimiseks. Alternatiivsed meetodid põhinevad asümptootilisest kvantimisteooriast pärit tulemusel, mille kohaselt juhusliku suuruse X korral, mille tihedusfunktsiooniks on f(x), on optimaalsete kvantimispunktide jaotus tihedusfunktsiooniga f*(x) = c · f^(1/3)(x), kus c on normeerimistegur. Et hinnata alternatiivsete meetodite headust võrreldakse nende abil saadud tulemusi optimaalsete kvantimispunktidega, mis leitakse Lloyd-Max’i algoritmi abil. Lisaks hinnatakse, kas alternatiivsetel meetoditel leitud kvantimispunktid sobivad Lloyd-Max’i algoritmi alglähenditeks, et algoritmi tööd kiirendada. Uuritud on normaaljaotust, ühtlast jaotust, eksponentjaotust, hii-ruut jaotust ning gamma-jaotust.
