    International audience; This contribution approaches the question of the indexation of contemporary art in the era of the Web 2.0. It approaches in first part the theory and the frame of indexation studies and its implications in the field of the trasmission of knowledge. This technique of Information documentary processing is defined as a speech. In a second part, the application and the objectives of the indexation on some important Web sites are approached. These examples of Web sites allow to understand the possibilities of valuation of works of art thanks to the traditional indexation and through the principles of collaboration allowed by Web 2.0. The third part brings examples and complementary reflexions to understand the rules of the indexation in the global communication projects and the museum and patrimonial mediations.; Cette contribution pose la question de l’indexation de l’art contemporain à l’ère du Web 2.0. Elle aborde en première partie la théorie et le cadre d’étude de l’indexation et ses implications dans le champ de la trasmission des savoirs. Cette technique de traitement de l’information est définie comme un discours. Dans une deuxième partie, sont abordées l’application et les objectifs de l’indexation dans quelques sites Web importants. Ces exemples de sites permettent de comprendre les possibilités de valorisation des oeuvres grâce à l’indexation traditionnelle et grace à des principes collaboratifs permis par le Web 2.0. Une troisième partie apporte des exemples et des réflexions complémentaires pour situer la place de l’indexation dans les politiques de communication globales et les médiations muséales et patrimoniales

    The April 2015 release of the RDA Toolkit includes major content updates to "RDA: Resource Description and Access." Several of the revisions included in the release modify instructions that are used by music cataloguers on a regular basis. This article reviews the most important of these changes with the purpose of making it easier for music cataloguers to navigate the various changes that have taken place in relation to music cataloguing. It examines specifically the impact of the revisions regarding the statement of responsibility, the extent of notated music, the duration, preferred titles of musical works, abbreviations in titles for parts of musical works, and access points representing musical expressions. The article illustrates some of the changes by including examples that were revised or added. It also includes a table which is a comparison of the structure of 6.14.2 instructions before and after the April 2015 update, because of the numerous changes in this area. While this article is aimed primarily at music cataloguers, it could also be of interest to music librarians concerned with cataloguing issues.

    In this paper, we aim to explore ways of transformations of the new techno-culture that will become essential to appropriate two emerging technologies closely related: Big-datas and Datas Analytics. We discuss as well the history of big-datas and statistical analysis but also their digital pre-warning. In terms of multivariate statistical analysis, we discuss the epistemological issues but also ethical Copernican reversal caused by this analysis (discussed Benzécri / Bourdieu). The questions to being techno-digital, closely related with human intelligence, it also upset by its implementation collaborative networks, are quickly raised (Heidegger, Simondon, Derrida and the current bibliography). We conclude by stating the close involvement of our ITEN-UNESCO Chair for ISO standardization of ICT and Learning Analytics standardization project that just opened. We also present our project Muren HD (digital humanities involving crowdsourcing synergy for education, research and heritage in a culturally Euro-Mediterranean context); a project that is part of education-research-project IDEFI Créatic.

    This report focuses on the relevance of a documentary portal to promote documentary and educational resources as well as learning center innovating services. Through the present work, we assess different digital tools available on the market (OPACs, discovery tools, protocols for bibliographic metadata exchange, Content Managment Systems) and dealing with specialized information and with new dimensions exploited by augmented libraries. We also discuss about future challenges for specialists in information-documentation, supported by the migration of online catalogues into the cloud and general search engines.

    Open access movement is increasingly expanding from scientific publications to research data. Initiatives to make research data broadly accessible and fully available for reuse are emerging from a variety of stakeholders at international and European scale – states, funding agencies, publishers and scientific communities themselves. Research data openness is achieved through different policies, technical and legal mecanisms, but also lie on good data management practices. While France is beginning to get into the Open research data movement, it is important to consider that data policies are also needed at university level. Librarians have a serious part to play in leading on institutional data policy, understanding researchers needs and helping in metadata creation. Open access to research data is thus a unique opportunity for librarians to redesign their connection with scientific communities inside research institutions.

    Moroccan university researcher and open access to scientific and technical information. In this era based on information we live in, the free flow of information and knowledge is a fundamental principle for the reduction of the scientific gap. Social inclusion and economic empowerment are achieved in a society where citizens have universal access to information, whether general or specialized. Thus, over 10 years after the Declaration of the open access movement, clearly it has gained much ground in developed countries with substantial infrastructure, including through the active involvement of their universities and authorities in scientific research. However, the world of research in developing countries, in particular Morocco, lagging far behind in the practice of open access and does not take enough advantage of the opportunities of the free flow of information and knowledge. It is in this context that we have tried to amass an inventory in this area showing that the academic world is not yet part of the movement even though many conditions are already in place to benefit from open access.

    The article offers a state of the art and an analytical overview of what the following institutions propose in terms of distance learning and e-learning (FAD, or formation à distance) for library professionals (courses to prepare the concours or formation continue or continuing education): the Centre national d’enseignement à distance (CNED), the Centres régionaux de formation aux carrières des bibliothèques (CRFCB), the Ecole nationale supérieure des sciences de l’information et des bibliothèques (ENSSIB) and the Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (ABES). It shows how the various actors have made use of the tools they have at their disposal (educational platforms that include the Web 2.0’s functionalities, e-learning tutorials for self-training, teleconferences etc.) and distance learning practices (tutorials in both asynchronous and synchronous modes, blended learning combining face-to-face and distance learning, etc.). The article also analyses the conditions necessary to the trainees’ success: the quality of the services (courses and monitoring) offered by the education centres, the degree of motivation and involvement of the trainees in the programmes, the clarification of the staff entitlements under the staff rules and regulations of the institution where the trainee works. The expected development of distance learning (FAD) must encourage education centres to diversify and complement their offer; make sure the latter is clearly positioned in the general landscape of education including classic face-to-face sessions; to keep up with the technological and pedagogical developments; take into account the question of costs; and develop the skills of the personnel responsible for educational content and the trainers.
