Let (X-t)(t >= 0) be a continuous-time irreducible Markov chain on a finite state space E, let v: E -> R \ {0}, and let (phi(t))(t >= 0) be defined by phi(t) = integral(0)(t) v(X-s) ds. We consider the case in which the process (phi(t))(t >= 0) is oscillating and that in which (phi(t))(t >= 0) has a negative drift. In each of these cases, we condition the process (X-t, phi(t))(t >= 0) on the event that (phi(t))(t >= 0) hits level y before hitting 0 and prove weak convergence of the conditioned process as y -> infinity. In addition, we show the relationship between the conditioning of the process (phi(t))(t >= 0) with a negative drift to oscillate and the conditioning of it to stay nonnegative for a long time, and the relationship between the conditioning of (phi(t))(t >= 0) with a negative drift to drift to infinity and the conditioning of it to hit large levels before hitting 0.

Energy efficiency is essential in the efforts to achieve a 20 % reduction of primary power consumption by 2020. It is widely recognized that the potential of energy saving in buildings is large. Considering the tendencies of energy production and price, it is becoming urgent to reduce energy consumption in buildings. The choice of materials for a building with a high energy efficiency becomes much more important and strategies for reducing the use of primary energy for the production of materials and components becomes key. Renewable building materials should already be integrated into the early phases of building planning. The positive trend towards wooden construction is dictated by international guidelines, where a wooden building is an important starting point, not only for low-energy, but also low-emission building with exceptional health and safety aspects. In Europe, the most comprehensive and widely used is a concept of ultra-low energy house, more precisely, the passive house concept. Most Slovenian buildings combine contemporary styling with a degree of energy efficiency that comes close to passive house standards. It is widely recognised that the Slovenian construction industry is relatively advanced in the field of low energy buildings. In the light of the growing importance of energy-efficient building methods, it could be said that timber passive house would play an increasingly important role in the future.

Cloning is nonsexual reproduction with the means of division of the zygote, ortransfer of nucleus into embryonal or adult germ cell. The clones would be similar to each other or to the donor as identical twins. The differences could appear due to diversity of environment and especially to historical changes of society or to the damages of DNA. The motives for cloning differ, and the opposition is great (especially among the politicans and clerics). Notwithstanding 38% of the femal students agree to be cloned under certain conditions, mostly to protect their family or marriage.

The article reflects main discrepancies between basic coordinates of classic anarchist thought and coordinates of contemporary anarchism, as it developed within the "post-Seattle" alter-globalization movement. The article ascertains that the anarchist renaissance within the alter-globalization movement is not fostered only by classical anarchism, but also by ideational currents that in the past had represented its main counterpoint. The question that the author addresses is therefore: Is it possible to talk about a "new" anarchism? Following a thorough examination of the alter-globalization movement, its genealogy and the main ideational currents within the movement, the author concludes, that a "new" or "post-ideological" anarchism does not offer important innovations only on the level of political praxis, but also on the level of theoretical paradigms. In the last part of the article, the author affirms these findings with an outline of redefinition of violence, political power, nation state and democracy within (contemporary) anarchism.

Likovno občutljiv-a študent-ka zna, ne glede na letnik, »izkoristiti« vsak del procesa in tehnik za razvoj svoje kreativnosti in izraza. Pri tem so v veliko pomoč v zadnjih letih izboljšani delovni pogoji in dopolnjena knjižnica s področja keramike. Najbolj radovedni študenti si nemalokrat sami priskrbijo potrebne posebne materiale in orodja, izkušnje pa si bogatijo tudi izven urnika. Pohvalno je demonstratorsko delo Eve Rokavec, ki skrbi, da imajo študenti vse potrebno za delo in da so njihova dela kvalitetno in pravočasno žgana.
