This diploma thesis focuses on the transformation of foreign policy of the United States of America during one of the largest domestic political crises in the history of USA. Richard Nixon's administration had to face published scandals that occurred during the presidential election, which became publicly known as the Watergate affair. The objective of the thesis is to analyse the impact of the political scandal on the formation of foreign policy. The author will search for answers to the questions as to whether other states took advantage of the temporary weaknesses on the domestic political scene and how the US foreign policy changed in various parts of the world, such as slowing down the détente process or how the policy in Indochina changed. The American President also plays an important role in the complex process of shaping American foreign policy, among other things, and thereby the thesis will also pay attention to Richard Nixon and his relationship with other constitutional authorities that also have influence on foreign policy. Part of the thesis will also include information on the attention that the President paid to foreign policy in crisis management. The thesis itself will be prepared on the basis of published sources and literature in Czech and English. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na proměnu zahraniční politiky Spojených států amerických v průběhu jedné z největších vnitropolitických krizí v dějinách USA. Administrativa Richarda Nixona musela čelit zveřejněným skandálům, které se udály během prezidentského volebního klání, což vešlo ve všeobecnou známost jako aféra Watergate. Práce si klade za cíl analyzovat vliv politického skandálu na utváření zahraniční politiky. Autorka bude hledat odpovědi na otázky, zda využily ostatní státy dočasné slabosti na vnitropolitické scéně a jak se proměnila zahraniční politika USA v různých částech světa, například ve zpomalení procesu détente nebo jak se proměnila politika v Indočíně. Ve složitém procesu utváření americké zahraniční politiky hraje důležitou roli také americký prezident, mimo jiné se tak práce bude věnovat právě Richardovi Nixonovi a jeho vztahu k ostatním ústavním orgánům, které mají rovněž vliv na zahraniční politiku. Rovněž bude v části práce zmíněno, jak velkou pozornost věnoval prezident zahraniční politice při řešení krize. Samotná práce pak bude zpracována na základě vydaných pramenů a literatury v českém a anglickém jazyce. Obhájeno

This bachelory work deals with problem of creation portable mobile virtual guide for touristic purposes. The main aim of this work is to construct system for guide, which allows us to build sights and from them composes a tour. The system counts with using multimedia files about the monuments. Another aim of the work is a data distribution for a tourists through their mobile phones or through other portable devices. The base of the system is a platform Raspberry Pi with linux operating system. An application uses web server Apache, database server MySQL and combination of programming language as PHP and JavaScript. Appearance and rendering of particular sites is solved by HTML and CSS. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou tvorby přenosného mobilního virtuálního průvodce pro turistické účely. Cílem práce je vytvořit systém pro průvodce, který umožňuje vytvářet památky a z nich následně skládat trasu. Systém přitom počítá s využitím multimediálních souborů o památkách. Dalším cílem je distribuce dat turistům skrze jejich mobilní telefony nebo přes ostatní přenosná zařízení. Základem systému je platforma Raspberry Pi s linuxovým operačním systémem. Bachelor thesis deals with the combustion process in a diesel engine. The theoretical part focuses on the general description and the course of the combustion process. The work also describes the design and development of diesel engines. The main part covers the whole combustion process from making the mixture to exhaust. Part of this work is the development of the combustion process and associated emission reductions. Design part focuses on the valve train and includes inlet valve with drawings documentation. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou spalovacího procesu u vznětového motoru. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na jeho celkový popis a průběh procesu spalování. Práce také popisuje konstrukci a vývoj vznětových motorů. Hlavní část práce se zabývá celým průběhem spalovacího procesu od tvorby směsi až do výfuku. Součástí práce je vývoj procesu spalování a s ním spojené snižování emisí. Konstrukční část se zaměřuje na ventilový rozvod a obsahuje návrh sacího ventilu spolu s příslušnou výkresovou dokumentací. In this thesis, after a short introduction theree are two parts. In the first one it is focused on the terms: self-government and generally binding municipal ordinance. It is also focused on differences between the old Act on Municipalities and the new Act on Municipalities. After that there is a chapter about the Constitutional Court and about proceeding of legal rule's cancellation. The second part is focused on analysis of concrete judgements of the Constitutional Court in order to describe the development of legal opinions of the Constitutional Court in the matter of imposing duties by the generally binding municipal ordinances. Firstly the thesis describes the problem, whether the delegation of authority contained in the Constitution's article n. 104 par. 3 is working for the imposing duties by minucipal ordinances or is not. After that there is a chapter focused on particular categories of judgements - public order, local fees etc. The thesis ends with the short summary. Diplomová práce je po krátkém úvodu rozdělena na dvě základní části. V první části (první tři kapitoly) se zabývá pojmy samospráva a obecně závazná vyhláška obce. Také se zde snažím popsat rozdíly mezi úpravou samosprávy a obecně závazných vyhlášek ve starém a novém zákoně o obcích. Následuje část věnovaná Ústavnímu soudu a řízení o zrušení jiných právních předpisů. Ve druhé části následuje rozbor konkrétních judikátů Ústavního soudu tak, abych zmapovala vývoj právních názorů Ústavního soudu ve věci ukládání povinností formou obecně závazných vyhlášek obcí od počátku jeho činnosti až po současnost. Nejdříve se práce zabývá dostatečností, resp. nedostatečností zmocnění obsaženého v čl. 104 odst. 3 Ústavy pro uložení povinnosti obecně závaznou vyhláškou obce a posléze se zabývá jednotlivými skupinami nálezů týkajících se podobné věci - veřejného pořádku, místních poplatků atd. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the chosen strategies of Barack Obama's administration and to find out why the United States was involved differently in the civil war in Syria and Libya. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part I deal with the concept of rogue states. There I mention the evolution of the concept, the characteristics and afterwards I apply these characteristics to Syria and Libya. The main part of the work is focused on selected strategies of Barack Obama. I focus on both conflicts from their beginnings, from 2011 to the end of Barack Obama's presidential term. The conclusion of this chapter is the evaluation of strategies and factors that could influence the participation of the United States in both conflicts. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je vyhodnotit zvolené strategie administrativy Baracka Obamy a na základě toho zjistit, proč Spojené státy přistupovaly odlišně k občanské válce v Sýrii a Libyi. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první teoretické části se zabývám konceptem rogue states. Zde zmiňuji vývoj konceptu a hlavní charakteristiky, které následně aplikuji na zkoumané státy. Hlavní část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na vybrané strategie Baracka Obamy v obou konfliktech od jejich začátku až po uplynutí prezidentského mandátu. Závěrem této části bude kapitola s vyhodnocením strategií a faktorů, které mohly ovlivnit participaci Spojených států amerických v konfliktech. Obhájeno

The work is devoted to the development of the civic society and civil rights in the Austrian constitutions of the 19th century. It analyses the philosophical sources, contents and garantees in the texts of the constitutions. It stresses the difference between legal regulation de iure and de facto. The work deals mainly with the problematic if the sovereignty of the people, which reflected ito the text of the ,,kroměřížská constitution" and was expressed by Fr.L. Rieger. Práce se věnuje rozvoji občanské společnosti a občanským právům v rakouských ústavách 19. století. Rozebírá jejich filozofická východiska, obsah a jejich garance v textu ústav. Zdůrazňuje rozdíl mezi právní úpravou de iure a de facto. The thesis ,,Comparison of bicameral Parliaments in Central Europe (the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia)" describes bicameral parliamentary system in these countries. The thesis describes the structure, voting procedure, power and legislative process in the lower and upper houses of Parliament. Last chapter is devoted to comparison a summary of the parliaments of identical and different elements laws of those countries. This work dealt with the topic of the American Revolution ant the emergence of the independence of the United States of America. It has dealt with relations between the colonies and the Great Britain from the Seven Years' War to the first clashes. This work also includes the course and circumstances of the sessions of the First Continental Congress and the pre-war phase. Laws were discussed at the first session of Congress. The independence of the American colonies from the mother country was decided. Outrage and hostilis grep. The April clash of insurgent forces with British troops at Lexington and Concord in 1775 provoked the American War of Independence. Shortly afterwards, the secod session of the Continental Congress was held in Philadelphia. The aim of this meeting was to secede fton the Great Britain and also to promote independence. The work ends with the creation of the document Declaration of Independence. The aim was to captures the creation of the document and the people who participated in it, especially Thomas Jefferson, who created the entire suggestion. Cílem bakalářské práce bude analýza politické situace a vývoje právních zákonů při jednání o vyhlášení nezávislosti USA a vzniku Deklarace práv. Tento dokument bude přiblížen nejen z historického hlediska, autorka se též zaměří i na jeho právní aspekty. Představeni budou také osobnosti, které se na vzniku dokumentu podílely. Práce bude zaměřena také na zrod kontinentálních kongresů a jejich jednání. Hodlá proto analyzovat průběh prvního a druhého kontinentálního. Práce také nastíní okolnosti, které vedly ke vzniku kontinentálních kongresů a samotnému vyhlášení nezávislosti. Obhájeno

The present paper deals with an assessment of the performance of Czech’s 7 international airports in terms of their technical efficiency. This paper aims to assess the efficiency of 7 selected airports in Czech Republic using the DEA method and Malmquist index. The data are collected for years 2015-2018. For the assessment of technical efficiency the data envelopment analysis method is applied with one input and one output. For input was chosen the number of employees, the number of passengers was used as the output. For each airport from the sample as well as for whole sample were calculated the values of the Malmquist index. With help of Malmquist index it was possible to quantify the total factor productivity change and to decompose it to technological change and technical efficiency change. The first part of the paper is devoted to a literature review on the use of the DEA method in assessing the performance of airports and air transport. The second part of the paper describes the methodology of the actual research. In conclusion, the results of the research are discussed. By applying input-oriented BCC model, at least two airports are identified each year as able to efficiently transform the given input into output, because they use best practices and appropriate processes in their operations management.

This bachelor thesis is an analysis of the development of mutual relations between selected NATO allies under the administration of the current American President Donald Trump in the 2017-2019 period. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the influence and strenght which the American President has at his disposal in his office on the development of relations in such an important security organization as the NATO is. The case studies of four key European allies demonstrate how much Donald Trump's administration changed the mutual relations, which had been established and solidified between the allies over 70 years of NATO existence. Tato bakalářská práce je analýzou vývoje vzájemných vztahů mezi vybranými členy NATO za administrativy Donalda Trumpa v rozmezí let 2017-2019. Cílem této studie je vylíčit čtenáři, jaký vliv má americký prezident ve svém úřadu na vývoj vztahů v rámci tak důležité bezpečnostní organizace, jakou je právě NATO. Případové studie čtyř vybraných evropských spojenců poukazují na to, jak se za Trumpovy administrativy proměnily vzájemné vztahy, které byly mezi členy ukotveny po 70 let existence NATO. Obhájeno
