The lifestory is a source for qualitative research. The most basic component of the collection is the written or recorded document of personal history, a short or lengthy story of a person's life and observations. National Oral History Project (Nacionālās mutvārdu vēstures projekts (NMV)) has been financed by the Science Council of Latvia (Latvijas Zinātnes Padome) since 1992. Its approach is multidisciplinary, employing sociological and philosophical theories in particular.

Tēzaurs.lv: An extensive dictionary and thesaurus of Latvian, comprising more than 320,000 lexical entries, including multi-word units. Compiled and edited based on more than 300 sources. Provides detailed morphological information; being extented into a Latvian WordNet.

The dataset is an archive of reader comments from the Delfi news site from 2014-2019, containing approximately 12M comments, mostly in the Latvian language, with some in Russian. Previosusly it was thought that no picture of the first telescope installed at the Astronomical Tower of the University of Latvia was preserved. During thorough search at the Museum of the University of Latvia a single picture of the telescope was found. This video explains how the picture was found. Agrāk domāja, ka Latvijas Universitātes Astronomiskā torņa pirmā teleskopa fotogrāfija nav saglabājusies. Veicot rūpīgus meklējumus Latvijas Universitātes Muzejā, tika atrasta vienīgā teleskopa fotogrāfija. Video paskaidro, kā tā tika atrasta.
