GDR ISIS - Exposé présenté lors de la journée : "Traitement d'antenne : signaux non gaussiens, non circulaires, non stationnaires", 8 décembre 2016, Paris; La non circularité des signaux sources est largement exploitée dans les systèmes de communication pour améliorer leurs performances. Les techniques exploitant la non circularité des signaux sources utilisent simultanément les signaux reçus ainsi que leur complexe conjugué, font appel à des techniques linéaires au sens large. Dans cette étude, nous cherchons à exploiter les propriétés des signaux circulaires en s'inspirant des techniques linéaires au sens large. Pour ce faire, les propriétés symétriques de la constellation des signaux télécommunications sont utilisées. Les résultats de simulation montrent que la technique proposée a un temps de calcul rapide tout en ayant une performance proche de la méthode de maximum de vraisemblance qui nécessite un temps de calcul beaucoup plus long.

These are the preliminary findings on European Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in a Global Context produced by the European project, Interco-SSH, which examines the processes of institutionalization and internationalization of the social sciences and humanities.; The SSH form an increasingly global field of research and training. Research output has during the past three decades expanded considerably in almost every part of the world, transnational connections and collaborations have gained more weight, and English has become the lingua franca of international communication.This globalizing field of the SSH is strongly dominated by Western countries in terms ofresearch capacity and publication outlets, and even more so with regard to scholarly recognition and prestige (as measured by citations and prizes). At the global level the SSH display a duopolistic structure, with a North American-European core, various semi-peripheral and multiple peripheral regions and countries.One of the most important changes in this global system has been the rise of Europe, which in terms of research output (articles, books) and research organizations (networks, journals,professional associations) is on a level that is roughly comparable to that of North America. Ina relatively short period of time, mainly since the 1990s, a European infrastructure has emerged (funding programs, journals, professional associations) that has reshaped the research and publication process in the SSH in the region. The EC Framework programmes played a structuring role in fostering intra-European collaboration involving smaller countries and their institutions.

ETP4HPC White Paper; International audience; We foresee an increasing need for integrated software ecosystems which combine current “island” solutions and bridge the gaps between them. These ecosystems must facilitate the full life cycle of Computing Continuum (CC) use cases, including initial modelling, programming, deployment, execution, optimization, as well as monitoring and control. It will be important to ensure adequate reproducibility of workflow results and to find ways for creating and managing trust when sharing systems, software and data. All of these will in turn require novel or improved hardware capabilities. This white paper provides an initial discussion of the gaps. Our objective is to accelerate progress in both hardware and software infrastructures to build CC use cases, with the ultimate goals of accelerating scientific discovery, improving timeliness, quality and sustainability of engineering artifacts, and supporting decisions in complex and potentially urgent situations.

Dans le cadre de la recherche menée au sud du Maroc pour l'ANR-Colostrum, les chercheurs devaient fournir, en plus des enquêtes et avec l'accord et l'autorisation des parents, du personnel soignant et de l'établissement, des photographies accompagnant et illustrant les enquêtes qui ont été menées.
