Extrait de document; This is the french part of the ICES/EIFAC Working Group on Eels report to: a) assess trends in recruitment, stock, and fisheries indicative for the status of the stock; b) further develop the concepts of exploitation and/or habitat restoration objectives leading towards quantitative management targets; c) assess the impact of fisheries on local stocks using harvest rate models in selected systems and relate to escapement targets, or their proxies where data conditions are poor; d) quantify the effect of loss of habitats (by region or country), taking into account the local distribution of eel stocks in rivers; e) assess density-dependent processes in local eel stock dynamics, also in relation to harvesting of recruits (glass eel); f) further develop post-evaluation procedures, quantifying effects of measures currently taken in selected systems; g) review national management plans in the light of the past ICES advice; h) comment on the net effect of national management plans on the stock, their deficiencies relative to recovery of eel stocks, and their potential for integration in an international stock recovery plan.

The photo shows the mini excavator and the truck on the construction site of the seismological station OGCY located in Champagny-en-Vanoise (Savoie). The work, including drilling, was carried out at an altitude of 2200m, on a site that is difficult to access, next to the Vanoise National Park, in the area known as "Le Tougne". The drilling is 6m deep (Résif standard) and the team hit the healthy rock at 1.5m. Work began on 31 August 2020 and was completed on 11 September 2020. The station is integrated into the Permanent Broadband Network (RLBP) of the national research infrastructure Résif, dedicated to the observation and understanding of the Earth's internal structure and dynamics. Résif is based on high technology observation networks, composed of seismological, geodetic and gravimetric instruments deployed in a dense manner throughout France. The data collected enable the study, with high spatio-temporal resolution, of ground deformation, surface and deep structures, local and global seismicity and natural hazards, particularly seismic, on French territory. Résif is integrated into the European (EPOS - European Plate Observing System) and worldwide systems of instruments that allow us to image the interior of the Earth as a whole and to study numerous natural phenomena.; Sur la photo, on peut voir la mini-pelle et le camion sur le chantier de la station sismologique OGCY située à Champagny-en-Vanoise (Savoie). Les travaux, dont le forage, se sont fait à 2200m d'altitude, sur un site difficile d'accès, à côté du Parc national de la Vanoise, sur le lieu-dit "Le Tougne". Le forage fait 6m de profondeur (standard Résif) et l'équipe a touché le rocher sain à 1,5m. Le chantier a débuté le 31 août 2020 et s'est terminé le 11 septembre 2020. La station est intégrée au Réseau large bande permanent (RLBP) de l'infrastructure de recherche nationale Résif, dédiée à l’observation et la compréhension de la structure et de la dynamique Terre interne. Résif se base sur des réseaux d’observation de haut niveau technologique, composés d’instruments sismologiques, géodésiques et gravimétriques déployés de manière dense sur tout le territoire français. Les données recueillies permettent d’étudier avec une haute résolution spatio-temporelle la déformation du sol, les structures superficielles et profondes, la sismicité à l’échelle locale et globale et les aléas naturels, et plus particulièrement sismiques, sur le territoire français. Résif s’intègre aux dispositifs européens (EPOS - European Plate Observing System) et mondiaux d’instruments permettant d’imager l’intérieur de la Terre dans sa globalité et d’étudier de nombreux phénomènes naturels.

According to our results, the intermediation ratio has remained quite stable, at around 85%. However, this stability is the result of two opposing trends: a decrease in credits and an increase in financial securities owned by financial (mostly, non banking) institutions. These two opposing trends would not have appeared if we had used traditional indicators computed as a fraction on GDP, or that build on a narrow definition of intermediation or use market value data. Fundamentally, our results provide evidence for a very close relation between intermediate financings and market financings and tend to reject the hypothesis of the Japanese financial system's convergence toward a capital market-based system.; Dans cet article, on mesure le taux d'intermédiation des financements au Japon au cours de la période 1970-2002 en utilisant des encours non-valorisés. On montre que ce taux est resté relativement stable, à un niveau proche de 85%. Ce maintien est cependant le résultat de deux évolutions opposées : une contraction de la part des crédits dans le financement externes et une progression de celle des achats de titres réalisés par les intermédiaires financiers bancaires et surtout non bancaires. Ces deux tendances opposées seraient masquées, voire déformées, si l'on s'en tenait aux indicateurs usuels qui se rapportent au PIB, qui retiennent une définition trop étroite de l'activité bancaire, ou qui utilisent des données en valeur de marché. Sur le fond, nos résultats soulignent, d'une part, l'imbrication croissante entre financements intermédiés et financements de marché et tendent à infirmer, d'autre part, l'idée d'une convergence du système financier japonais vers un système "orienté marché".
