    Many types of the coastal land use in Banten Bay have been assessed in order to know the change as evidently detected by Landsat imagery in 1994 and 2001. Image processing such as, supervised classification and various change detection techniques are performed to the satellite images. Red Green method showed the best result for detecting the coastal land use change. This method is suitable for detecting the increasing areas of the paddy fields and settlement. Image Differencing method is capable to detect the increasing areas in agriculture, decreasing in fishponds and natural areas. Image Ratioing method can be considered suitable for detecting the increasing area of fishponds, decreasing of paddy fields and agriculture areas. Each coastal land use type has increased, except for the natural area/brushwood. Most of agriculture and paddy fields areas have been converted to fish ponds.

    Abstract. Empowering communities is an attempt to enhance the dignity of the community who are unable to escape from the trap of poverty and underdevelopment. The success of the community building definable as well from the community participation and the role of government related. Tyto Alba Program in Tlogoweru Village is one of the government's efforts in Tlogoweru Village of empowering communities who have not been able to overcome the problem of crop failures due to a very tough mouse pest control.The research method used is the qualitative approach and the techniques of data collection through interviews and documents. Informants in this research are The Head of Tlogoweru Village, Tlogoweru Village Secretary, Chairman of The Tyto Alba Developer Team, and the community of Tlogoweru Village.The research results showed that community empowerment of farmers in Tlogoweru Village through Tyto Alba Program has successfully overcome the crop failures as well as making community could develop other business. Empowerment implemented through Empowerment of Human Development, Empowerment of Institutional Development, Empowerment of Business, and Empowerment of Environment.The recommendations could be made to The Government of Tlogoweru Village was able to manage The Quarantine Place Of Tyto Alba better as well as the development of physical infrastructure to support Tlogoweru Tourist Village.

    Untuk mengikuti perkembangan industri yang telah masuk pada era revolusi industri 4.0, dimana era ini merupakan era pengembangan Internet of Things (IoT) dan big data, semua sektor secara tidak langsung dipengaruhi, tidak terkecuali sektor pertanian, perkembangan pertanian dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi khususnya teknologi IoT dan big data di Indonesia masih sangat minim sekali, bahkan bisa dikatakan masih belum berkembang, maka dalam penelitian ini peneliti melakukan peneltian di sektor pertanian, khususnya sektor irigasi pertanian dengan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu tahapan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi IoT yang diaplikasikan pada sistem irigasi pertanian, penelitian ini tidak hanya membangun sistem kontrol sensor yang diintegrasikan pada mikrokontroller namun juga membahas tentang arsitektur jaringan komunikasi, sehinga sistem irigasi ini bisa melakukan komunikasi dua arah dengan baik, cepat dan menjangkau area luas, sistem juga dibekali antarmuka yang mudah digunakan, antarmuka dibangun menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Mobile, antarmuka ini akan memudahkan user dalam mengakses informasi dan mengontrol sistem yang dibangun. penelitian ini mampu melakukan kontrol sistem irigasi jarak jauh dangan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT serta diharapkan berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan revolusi industri di Indonesia yang dikenal dengan “ Making Indonesia 4.0” khususnya dalam bidang pertanian.

    Internet of things (IoT) becomes the backbone of the advanced countries and it has a real contribute to exchange the traditional style or way of practical life, even personal life into smart style, with (IoT) technology the life become more and more easy and professional. internet of things achieves various applications coordinate with sensors and standard protocols to apply what is called machine -to- machine connection (M2M), in this paper we will talk more about the concept of (M2M), the main component of internet of things and finally the common protocols that is used in network, in addition to that this work present an IOT operation with processing system using camera for capturing image and Xilinx system generator(XSG)models for designing image processing algorithms and the result of the processing is an image with black and white for edge detection and Thresholding models and gray color image for gray enhancement model.

    Climate change is recognized as an important issue at the center of world discussion. The importance of agriculture and forestry in the control or mitigation of climate is an important issue that has gained a lot of attention recently. Climate smart agricultural and forestry practices a situation where practices that will promote mitigation and reduce emission towards a better food security and environmental friendly weather are considered in this review paper. Also the role played by extension workers was also discussed. Climate smart agricultural and forestry practices such as planting of drought resistant crops, changes in cropping pattern, irrigation efficiency improvement, afforestation and agro-forestry were elucidated. It was concluded that an extensive extension service that will adequately educate and reach out to stakeholders at all levels will improve capacity to control the impact of climate change.

    Perkembangan internet pada masa sekarang sangatlah pesat. Ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap internet sangat tinggi, terutama digunakan sebagai sumber pencarian informasi dan berbagai macam media sosial. Namun, saat ini penggunaan internet tidak hanya terpaku pada pencarian informasi dan media sosial saja, akan tetapi dapat juga digunakan untuk menghubungkan dan mengendalikan satu perangkat dengan perangkat lainnya tanpa campur tangan manusia. Teknologi ini disebut dengan Internet of Things (IoT). Salah satu perangkat yang sering dikendalikan menggunakan internet adalah peralatan listrik rumah tangga. Listrik saat ini juga menjadi kebutuhan dasar masyarakat. Namun, masyarakat juga sering mengeluh tentang biaya pembayaran listrik yang semakin mahal setiap bulannya. Hal ini disebabkan karena masyarakat sering lupa mematikan listrik sebelum pergi meninggalkan rumah. Dengan melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatlah sebuah alat yang mampu mematikan dan menghidupkan peralatan listrik rumah tangga dari jarak jauh melalui internet. Alat ini menggunakan Raspberry Pi, Relay, dan Platform Cayenne yang dipasangkan pada Smartphone Android.

    . Dengan letaknya diantara dua benua dan dua samudera serta berada di garis khatulistiwa, maka benua maritim Indonesia merupakan salah satu pusat konveksi utama dunia. Dengan Kenyataan demikian maka Indonesia menghadapi risiko yang besar dari tingginya variabilitas iklim dan ekstremitas iklim. Guna menghadapi dampak dari iklim ekstrem maka diperlukan strategi yang mumpuni untuk membuat suatu peringatan dini secara nasional. Dengan desakan jumlah populasi dan kecanggihan teknologi informasi maka kedepan diperlukan sistem peringatan dini yang dapat menjangkau secara luas dan cepat menghadapi Perubahan yang terjadi. Sebuah sistem peringatan dini yang juga harus dapat mengantisipasi dampak dan risiko. Sistem peringatan dini yang dibangun merupakan mata rantai dari pengamatan di lapangan, pengolahan data dan analisa serta sistem diseminasi yang memadai. Tulisan ini mengulas sistem peringatan dini iklim untuk sektor pertanian dengan evolusi sistem berbagi data, informasi, sistem informasi dan sistem informasi terkostumisasi. Tujuan akhir yang diupayakan adalah sebuah sistem online yang tanggap terhadap Perubahan yang terjadi guna pemanfaatan yang maksimal di sektor pertanian. . Located between two continents, two oceans, and on the equator, the Indonesian maritime continent is one of the world's major deep convection. With such a reality, Indonesia experiences a substantial risk of high climate variability and climate extremes. In order to deal with the impact of extreme climate, there is a need for a strategy to establish a nationwide early warning. With stressors of demographic tension and technology sophistication, the future early warning system should be broad reaching as well as quickly responsive to face dynamical changes. That early warning system should also be able to anticipate probable impacts and risks. The established system is a chain of observations in the field, data processing and analysis as well as adequate dissemination system. This paper reviews the early warning system that can be done by observation agencies with the user agencies in the agricultural sector through sharing of data, information, information system and customized information system. The ultimate goal being pursued is an online system that is responsive to changes that occur to maximum utilization in the agricultural sector.

    Machines are valuable assets that need to be protected from damage and failure through proper maintenance measures. This paper proposes a system that automatically monitors the running time of machines and sends notifications regarding their preventive maintenance (PM) schedules. The system core consists of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a human machine interface (HMI). The HMI is connected to an online platform via internet connection provided by a router, so that the monitoring result can be accessed via Android smartphone or laptop/PC. This IoT-based running time monitoring system (IRTMS) will be particularly helpful in implementation at an production site that consists of multiple various machines. The PM items of a machine may vary from cleaning, changing single component, to an overhaul, each with different time interval. By using the IRTMS, the user will have an overview of the PM schedules anytime and anywhere. The preparation of material, components, or tools can be known ahead of time. For simulation purpose, a prototype is constructed by using components as used in industrial real-life condition. Four output connections are provided to simulate the simultaneous monitoring of four machines. The IRTMS prototype is tested and completely successful on doing the running time monitoring, the running time reset, the PM notifications, and the remote access for monitoring and control.

    Shoreline deformation is a result from sediment transport process with an intervention of current. Concept of sediment cell used to facilitate the analysis and it can be seen on satellite images Landsat. The purpose of this research is to identify sediment cell limit and dominant direction of sediment transport along shore, erosion and sedimentation analysis using sediment cell approachment based satellite images analysis and wave modeling. This research used remote sensing method to determine sediment cell limit and ground check method to identify the source, direction and limits of sediments movement. The landmass that got erosion and accretion was obtained from satellite images overlay. Satellite images which used in this research is Landsat 1990, 2000 and 2010. According to the result of overlay, seashore deformation for 20 years was dominated by accretion (167,71 ha wider than erosion). The result of overlay showed that average accretion rate was 8,3855 ha/year and average erosion rate was 1,1745 ha/year. Results of overlay processing based on erosion and accretion showed that seashore in Bandar Lampung divided into 6 sub sediment cell with 5 limit of static sub cell and 1 dynamic sub cell appropriate for cell sediment concept.

    Shoreline deformation is a result from sediment transport process with an intervention of current. Concept of sediment cell used to facilitate the analysis and it can be seen on satellite images Landsat. The purpose of this research is to identify sediment cell limit and dominant direction of sediment transport along shore, erosion and sedimentation analysis using sediment cell approachment based satellite images analysis and wave modeling. This research used remote sensing method to determine sediment cell limit and ground check method to identify the source, direction and limits of sediments movement. The landmass that got erosion and accretion was obtained from satellite images overlay. Satellite images which used in this research is Landsat 1990, 2000 and 2010. According to the result of overlay, seashore deformation for 20 years was dominated by accretion (167,71 ha wider than erosion). The result of overlay showed that average accretion rate was 8,3855 ha/year and average erosion rate was 1,1745 ha/year. Results of overlay processing based on erosion and accretion showed that seashore in Bandar Lampung divided into 6 sub sediment cell with 5 limit of static sub cell and 1 dynamic sub cell appropriate for cell sediment concept.
