    《聊斋志异》是清代著名小说家蒲松龄的代表作。全书收录了四百三十一篇志怪短篇小说, 题材广泛多元,内容丰富多彩,是古代文言短篇小说中的重要著作。《聊斋志异》里的爱情故事以凡男与异类女子相恋为主。两人往往是初次见面就相互爱悦,并发生性爱关系。这样的故事情节与一般的艳情小说中所看到的非常相似,因此曾被学者批评否定。它与艳情故事的差别在于故事里的男女主人公在幽会偷情的同时,也对彼此产生了真挚的感情,并不只是一味地追求肉欲上的满足。因此说这些爱情故事多数具有“情生与欲”的特点, 也就是男女之间的感情是建立在情欲的满足上的。本文将通过文本细读的方式,分析这类爱情故事中“情生与欲”的特点, 并论证这些作品里所体现的不是艳情,而是真情。“Strange Tales of Liaozhai” (Liao Zhai Zhi Yi) is the masterpiece of famous Qing Dynasty writer, Pu Songling. The four hundred and thirty-one short stories recorded, consist of a wide range of themes and content, making it an important collection of classical tales (wenyan xiaoshuo). The love stories of Liaozhai mainly touch on the romance between mortal men and women with supernatural elements (yilei nüzi). The couple often enjoys the physical act of love on the very first meeting itself. Even though these love stories of scholars and women carry elements of excessive desire, it is incorrect to categorize them as “erotic” stories. The main characters may not be married in name but they do share the love that exists between married couples. Although these stories contain descriptions of erotic desire, there is still true love between them and this love (qing) is developed as a result of erotic desire (yu) during their numerous rendezvous. Through analyzing the novel, this paper will explore the characteristic element of erotic desire leading to love in these love stories and reveal that it is real love and not sexual desire alone that exists between the main characters in the stories.     本文透过「巫术」信仰,探讨吉兰丹土生华人在马来西亚的发展、演变情况以及影响此宗教演变的人文因素。从「巫术」在三个疆界的跨越,找到属于吉兰丹土生华人所持有的地域特色。此外,以「巫术」的流传作为一种社会现象的观点,来看待其存在于土生华人社会中的特殊意义与符号,对此探讨土生华人的身份认同与马来巫之间的微妙关系,如何反映出华人的原始精神。Through the development history of Peranakan Chinese in Kelantan state, this article aims to figure out the factor affects the growth of Black magic’s religion among Kelantan Chinese Peranakan society. From the aspect of its localization, diversity and secularization, we could see the pattern it used in its’ transforming process. Religion reflects a culture. In our Chinese society, Chinese religions have represented the situation of the growing of a Chinese culture in Malaysia. The relationships among Chinese culture and Chinese community can be represented in their believing of a religion. Ciò rinvia direttamente al problema dell’attuale tenuta di categorie e istituzioni politiche-giuridiche tradizionali.     明末清初的文人画家项圣谟(1597年-1658年),一生创作颇多,擅山水、花鸟、人物,尤以山水成就见长。顺治九年壬辰(1652年),项圣谟与谢彬共同完成了一幅《松涛散仙图》。在此之前,项圣谟曾于崇祯二年己巳(1629年)自绘一幅同名山水长卷《松涛散仙图咏卷》。这两幅画都是以其号“松涛散仙”命名的。目前美术史学界关于项圣谟的研究成果甚为丰硕,本文将尝试另辟途径,以文图学的视角重探《松涛散仙图》。本文将画作分为图像文本与文字文本两个部分进行分析,通过联系明清易代的历史背景和项圣谟的境遇,结合图像和文字共同探讨其中丰富的艺术旨趣。 首先,本文梳理了《松涛散仙图》的创作背景,从几幅作品了解项圣谟选择隐居的原因,以及他如何通过绘画来寄托心中理想的隐居方式。其次,着重于图象的解析,探讨了画面构图、项圣谟的形象塑造和松的寓意。最后,本文将分析画上题跋,揭示项圣谟的心境转变和作品“文”与“图”落差。 Xiang Shengmo, a literati painter in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, created multiple works in his lifetime. In the ninth year of Shunzhi, renchen [壬辰] (1652), Xiang Shengmo and Xie Bin completed a painting named “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” (Song Tao San Xian Tu 松涛散仙图), which is now at Jilin Provincial Museum. Before that, he had once drawn a long landscape scroll with the same name in the second year of Chongzhen, jisi [己巳] (1629). These two paintings were named after his Hao [号] “Song Tao San Xian ” [松涛散仙]. The paper aims to study “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” with the methodology of Text and Image Studies. The artwork will be divided into two parts: image and text in order to be analysed. By contacting the historical background of the Ming and Qing dynasties as well as Xiang Shengmo’s situation during these periods, this research reveals Xiang Shengmo’s mind changes and the meaning of the artwork conveys. First of all, this paper begins with the creating background of “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” as well as exploring the hermits thought which revealed in his works and the way he painted to express his feeling. Secondly, the paper focuses on the analysis of images and discusses the metaphorical nature of “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines”.     To study the ecological regulation effects of species diversity in wheat fields on Sitobion avenae, field experiments were carried out in Langfang Experimental Station of Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from October of 2007 to July of 2008. The intercropping patterns of wheat and pea, by the proportion of planting row of pea and wheat in 2:2, 2:4, 2:6 and 2:8, were plotted, and the field cultivar monoculture of wheat was planted as the control. Population dynamics of apterae and alatae S. avenae, population dynamics, species richness, diversity index and evenness of main natural enemies were investigated systematically and analyzed. The results showed that, compared with monoculture of wheat, the amount of S. avenae apterae per 100 plants (square-root transformed) in aphid peak period were very significantly lower in the intercropping treatments (P 2-2 intercropping (68.62) > 2-4 intercropping (68.51) > 2-8 intercropping (65.19) > 2-6 intercropping (64.94). Although population dynamics of main natural enemies showed a similar trend with time, wheat-pea intercropping could preserve and augment natural enemies more than monoculture of wheat, and there were higher population densities of ladybeetles and aphid parasitoids, and higher species richness and diversity index of natural enemies, but lower evenness index in each intercropping field. It is so concluded that wheat-pea intercropping system can not only reduce the population of S. avenae, but also improve the stability and sustainability of controlling wheat pests.

    纳兰性德是清初杰出的诗人,词人,虽然身为满清贵胄,但他却厌恶高在庙堂的 朝廷生活,向往自由清简的普通生活。长期以来,学术界对纳兰词的关注度非常高,相比之下对其诗歌的研究稍微疏忽。本论文通过比较研究边塞诗词的代表阶段,即康熙二十一年,来挖掘纳兰性德在塞垣上亦显亦隐的思想情绪轨迹,获得更多关于纳兰其人的了解和他在清代前期边塞诗坛上独特的贡献和地位。第一章绪论之后,从第二、三章开始,将康熙二十一年纳兰性德的出塞经历分为两个阶段,分别比较两个时间段期间所作的边塞诗与边塞词,并解释缘何诗与词在感情表达上相差甚远,后推测导致这些异处的原因:少年理想不得志、爱妻早亡、父亲在朝中面对危机四伏、固疾缠身以及对侍卫生活的厌倦使他的思想比同时期的诗人更加复杂、这些复杂和矛盾常常体现在他的边塞诗词里。第四章单独分析纳兰性德边塞诗词的艺术手法之异,在于得出最后的结论:纳兰遵从“以自然之眼观物,以自然之舌言情”,纯任性灵的抒写风格。第五章,首先讨论康熙二十一年所作的边塞作品在他一生中所有边塞诗词中具有代表性,然后再以这样有代表性的诗词和清代前期其他边塞文人的边塞作品作比较,突出纳兰边塞诗词的特色和独特地位。Nalan Xingde was an outstanding poet in the early Qing Dynasty. Although being a Manchu noble, he did not enjoy leading a life in court as he had been longing for freedom outside the court. Over the years, there has been more attention given to Nalan Xingde’s Ci than his poems. This thesis is a comparative study of the frontier poems and Ci written during twentyfirstyear of Kangxi which were able to represent all other frontier poems and Ci written by Nalan Xingde. The ultimate purpose is to study the poet’s ideology and emotional changes, as well as understanding Nalan’s unique contributions and status in the Early Qing frontier-style literature works. Following the first chapter of this thesis, the second and third chapters will start bydividing; Nalan Xingde’s experience in the twenty- first year of Kangxi into two phases. Then compare the frontier poems with Ci which were written within these two periods, and explain why emotions reflected by poems were a far cry from the emotions reflected by Ci. This was largely due to the unfulfilled ambition, death of his beloved wife, his father’s dangerous situations in court, chronic disease and tiredness of being a guard to the Emperor. All these made his thought and personality more complicated than other poets of the early Qing Dynasty. The fourth chapter analyses the differences between artistic techniques used in Nalan Xingde’s frontier poems and Ci which aims to show that Nalan Xingde created his literature works based on his most genuine and natural feelings. The fifth chapter first showed the value of frontier poems and Ci made during the twenty-first year of Kangxi as compared to all other frontier poems written by him, followed by further discussions on the uniqueness and contributions of Nalan Xingde’s frontier poems and Ci in the Early Qing Dynasty.     古代中国的同性恋现象作为一种亚文化具有研究意义。《弁而钗》受晚明崇情思想影响,被认为是真正正面描写同性恋的小说集。本文以男性气概的性别概念分析当中同性恋的主/从关系和情欲表现,探讨同性恋如何借由协商双方的男性气概而建构、发展和消解。第一章将梳理中国同性恋传统与晚明的崇情思想,为分析《弁而钗》文本做相关社会背景和文化思想的介绍;第二章着手《弁而钗》的文本细读,阐述男性气概的协商原因和表现,及同性恋的社会处境;第三章推测《弁而钗》男性气概的协商的文化心理。The phenomenon of homosexuality in ancient China is of great significance as a subculture research topic. Being influenced by the thought of honoring qing in late Ming, Bian er chai is considered to be a collection of novels that truly describe homosexuality. This thesis uses the concept of masculinity to analyse the dominant/submissive relationship and erotic performance of homosexuals and explore how the negotiation of masculinities has enabled homosexuality to be constructed, developed and de-constructed. The first chapter will summarise the history of homosexual tradition in ancient China and introduce the thought of honoring qing in late Ming, this is to set the context of the thesis. The second chapter will analyse the text of Bian er chai and discuss the reasons and performance of negotiating masculinities, as well as to examine the social situation of homosexuality in ancient China.     “和陶诗”,指和答东晋诗人陶渊明诗作的诗。陶渊明“性本爱丘山”的志趣与“终身与世辞”的选择,使之被称为“古今隐逸诗人之宗”,成为后世失意士人所普遍追和的对象。首位追和陶渊明诗歌者,可追溯至北宋著名文人苏轼。其“和陶诗”也掀起了后人的和陶风气,其中包括元初著名诗人刘因。纵观苏轼与刘因的“和陶诗”,可窥见苏轼的“静而不隐”与刘因的“隐而不静”。苏轼虽不曾辞官归隐,却于“和陶诗”表露其安时处顺之态,故谓之“静而不隐”。反观刘因,虽曾两度推辞征召,却于“和陶诗”展露其欲有所为之志,故谓之“隐而不静”。两人由和陶表达了复杂的仕隐情结,其中“静”与“隐”与陶渊明原诗切合,而“不隐”与“不静”则与原诗相异。这种“既同于渊明,又异于渊明”的创作心理,是由和诗“先阅读,后创作”的特质所引起的和诗诗人对原诗的接受与超越所致。本研究将从“和陶诗”对诗人生活与思想两方面的体现,比较苏轼与刘因的仕隐情结。在此基础上,拟以姚斯接受美学的期待视界概念分析诗人追和陶诗的创作心理,从和诗的特质观察苏轼“静而不隐”与刘因“隐而不静”的现象,以期为“和陶诗”研究提供另一思路。A plentiful number of poets have composed abundant responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming, who is recognised for his seclusion image. Su Shi from the Song dynasty was the first known poet to have initiated the creation of responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming. His practice also triggered the trend for such poems to be greatly produced over the years, and Liu Yin from the Yuan dynasty was one of the many influenced. Having a deep look into their responsorial poems, Su Shi displayed tranquil despite not entering seclusion, while Liu Yin exhibited his careerism despite entering seclusion. Su Shis’ tranquil and Liu Yins’ seclusion correspond to Tao Yuan Ming’s original poems; while Su Shis’ non-seclusion and Liu Yins’ careerism differ from Tao Yuan Ming’s original poems. These contradictions actually portray the characteristic of responsorial poetry, which is the involvement of the process of reading before creating, resulting in poets accepting, as well as going beyond the original poems. This paper aims at providing a comprehensive study of Su Shi and Liu Yins’ responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming, in terms of how the poems illustrate both the livelihood and the mentality of the poets. Upon which, the Horizons of Expectations concept from the Aesthetics of Reception theory by Jauss will be employed to explore the underlying factors contributing to the poets’ complexity in mind while creating the responsorial poems, with the intention of providing a new methodology in the research of responsorial poetry to Tao Yuan Ming.     《聊斋志异》是清代著名小说家蒲松龄的代表作。全书收录了四百三十一篇志怪短篇小说, 题材广泛多元,内容丰富多彩,是古代文言短篇小说中的重要著作。《聊斋志异》里的爱情故事以凡男与异类女子相恋为主。两人往往是初次见面就相互爱悦,并发生性爱关系。这样的故事情节与一般的艳情小说中所看到的非常相似,因此曾被学者批评否定。它与艳情故事的差别在于故事里的男女主人公在幽会偷情的同时,也对彼此产生了真挚的感情,并不只是一味地追求肉欲上的满足。因此说这些爱情故事多数具有“情生与欲”的特点, 也就是男女之间的感情是建立在情欲的满足上的。本文将通过文本细读的方式,分析这类爱情故事中“情生与欲”的特点, 并论证这些作品里所体现的不是艳情,而是真情。“Strange Tales of Liaozhai” (Liao Zhai Zhi Yi) is the masterpiece of famous Qing Dynasty writer, Pu Songling. The four hundred and thirty-one short stories recorded, consist of a wide range of themes and content, making it an important collection of classical tales (wenyan xiaoshuo). The love stories of Liaozhai mainly touch on the romance between mortal men and women with supernatural elements (yilei nüzi). The couple often enjoys the physical act of love on the very first meeting itself. Even though these love stories of scholars and women carry elements of excessive desire, it is incorrect to categorize them as “erotic” stories. The main characters may not be married in name but they do share the love that exists between married couples. Although these stories contain descriptions of erotic desire, there is still true love between them and this love (qing) is developed as a result of erotic desire (yu) during their numerous rendezvous. Through analyzing the novel, this paper will explore the characteristic element of erotic desire leading to love in these love stories and reveal that it is real love and not sexual desire alone that exists between the main characters in the stories. From the aspect of its localization, diversity and secularization, we could see the pattern it used in its’ transforming process. Religion reflects a culture. In our Chinese society, Chinese religions have represented the situation of the growing of a Chinese culture in Malaysia. The relationships among Chinese culture and Chinese community can be represented in their believing of a religion.     明末清初的文人画家项圣谟(1597年-1658年),一生创作颇多,擅山水、花鸟、人物,尤以山水成就见长。顺治九年壬辰(1652年),项圣谟与谢彬共同完成了一幅《松涛散仙图》。在此之前,项圣谟曾于崇祯二年己巳(1629年)自绘一幅同名山水长卷《松涛散仙图咏卷》。这两幅画都是以其号“松涛散仙”命名的。目前美术史学界关于项圣谟的研究成果甚为丰硕,本文将尝试另辟途径,以文图学的视角重探《松涛散仙图》。本文将画作分为图像文本与文字文本两个部分进行分析,通过联系明清易代的历史背景和项圣谟的境遇,结合图像和文字共同探讨其中丰富的艺术旨趣。 首先,本文梳理了《松涛散仙图》的创作背景,从几幅作品了解项圣谟选择隐居的原因,以及他如何通过绘画来寄托心中理想的隐居方式。其次,着重于图象的解析,探讨了画面构图、项圣谟的形象塑造和松的寓意。最后,本文将分析画上题跋,揭示项圣谟的心境转变和作品“文”与“图”落差。 Xiang Shengmo, a literati painter in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, created multiple works in his lifetime. In the ninth year of Shunzhi, renchen [壬辰] (1652), Xiang Shengmo and Xie Bin completed a painting named “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” (Song Tao San Xian Tu 松涛散仙图), which is now at Jilin Provincial Museum. Before that, he had once drawn a long landscape scroll with the same name in the second year of Chongzhen, jisi [己巳] (1629). These two paintings were named after his Hao [号] “Song Tao San Xian ” [松涛散仙]. The paper aims to study “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” with the methodology of Text and Image Studies. The artwork will be divided into two parts: image and text in order to be analysed. By contacting the historical background of the Ming and Qing dynasties as well as Xiang Shengmo’s situation during these periods, this research reveals Xiang Shengmo’s mind changes and the meaning of the artwork conveys. First of all, this paper begins with the creating background of “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines” as well as exploring the hermits thought which revealed in his works and the way he painted to express his feeling. Secondly, the paper focuses on the analysis of images and discusses the metaphorical nature of “An Untrammeled Immortal and Soughing Pines”.     To study the ecological regulation effects of species diversity in wheat fields on Sitobion avenae, field experiments were carried out in Langfang Experimental Station of Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from October of 2007 to July of 2008. The intercropping patterns of wheat and pea, by the proportion of planting row of pea and wheat in 2:2, 2:4, 2:6 and 2:8, were plotted, and the field cultivar monoculture of wheat was planted as the control. Population dynamics of apterae and alatae S. avenae, population dynamics, species richness, diversity index and evenness of main natural enemies were investigated systematically and analyzed. The results showed that, compared with monoculture of wheat, the amount of S. avenae apterae per 100 plants (square-root transformed) in aphid peak period were very significantly lower in the intercropping treatments (P 2-2 intercropping (68.62) > 2-4 intercropping (68.51) > 2-8 intercropping (65.19) > 2-6 intercropping (64.94). Although population dynamics of main natural enemies showed a similar trend with time, wheat-pea intercropping could preserve and augment natural enemies more than monoculture of wheat, and there were higher population densities of ladybeetles and aphid parasitoids, and higher species richness and diversity index of natural enemies, but lower evenness index in each intercropping field. It is so concluded that wheat-pea intercropping system can not only reduce the population of S. avenae, but also improve the stability and sustainability of controlling wheat pests.

    纳兰性德是清初杰出的诗人,词人,虽然身为满清贵胄,但他却厌恶高在庙堂的 朝廷生活,向往自由清简的普通生活。长期以来,学术界对纳兰词的关注度非常高,相比之下对其诗歌的研究稍微疏忽。本论文通过比较研究边塞诗词的代表阶段,即康熙二十一年,来挖掘纳兰性德在塞垣上亦显亦隐的思想情绪轨迹,获得更多关于纳兰其人的了解和他在清代前期边塞诗坛上独特的贡献和地位。第一章绪论之后,从第二、三章开始,将康熙二十一年纳兰性德的出塞经历分为两个阶段,分别比较两个时间段期间所作的边塞诗与边塞词,并解释缘何诗与词在感情表达上相差甚远,后推测导致这些异处的原因:少年理想不得志、爱妻早亡、父亲在朝中面对危机四伏、固疾缠身以及对侍卫生活的厌倦使他的思想比同时期的诗人更加复杂、这些复杂和矛盾常常体现在他的边塞诗词里。第四章单独分析纳兰性德边塞诗词的艺术手法之异,在于得出最后的结论:纳兰遵从“以自然之眼观物,以自然之舌言情”,纯任性灵的抒写风格。第五章,首先讨论康熙二十一年所作的边塞作品在他一生中所有边塞诗词中具有代表性,然后再以这样有代表性的诗词和清代前期其他边塞文人的边塞作品作比较,突出纳兰边塞诗词的特色和独特地位。Nalan Xingde was an outstanding poet in the early Qing Dynasty. Although being a Manchu noble, he did not enjoy leading a life in court as he had been longing for freedom outside the court. Over the years, there has been more attention given to Nalan Xingde’s Ci than his poems. This thesis is a comparative study of the frontier poems and Ci written during twentyfirstyear of Kangxi which were able to represent all other frontier poems and Ci written by Nalan Xingde. The ultimate purpose is to study the poet’s ideology and emotional changes, as well as understanding Nalan’s unique contributions and status in the Early Qing frontier-style literature works. Following the first chapter of this thesis, the second and third chapters will start bydividing; Nalan Xingde’s experience in the twenty- first year of Kangxi into two phases. Then compare the frontier poems with Ci which were written within these two periods, and explain why emotions reflected by poems were a far cry from the emotions reflected by Ci. This was largely due to the unfulfilled ambition, death of his beloved wife, his father’s dangerous situations in court, chronic disease and tiredness of being a guard to the Emperor. All these made his thought and personality more complicated than other poets of the early Qing Dynasty. The fourth chapter analyses the differences between artistic techniques used in Nalan Xingde’s frontier poems and Ci which aims to show that Nalan Xingde created his literature works based on his most genuine and natural feelings. The fifth chapter first showed the value of frontier poems and Ci made during the twenty-first year of Kangxi as compared to all other frontier poems written by him, followed by further discussions on the uniqueness and contributions of Nalan Xingde’s frontier poems and Ci in the Early Qing Dynasty.     古代中国的同性恋现象作为一种亚文化具有研究意义。《弁而钗》受晚明崇情思想影响,被认为是真正正面描写同性恋的小说集。本文以男性气概的性别概念分析当中同性恋的主/从关系和情欲表现,探讨同性恋如何借由协商双方的男性气概而建构、发展和消解。第一章将梳理中国同性恋传统与晚明的崇情思想,为分析《弁而钗》文本做相关社会背景和文化思想的介绍;第二章着手《弁而钗》的文本细读,阐述男性气概的协商原因和表现,及同性恋的社会处境;第三章推测《弁而钗》男性气概的协商的文化心理。The phenomenon of homosexuality in ancient China is of great significance as a subculture research topic. Being influenced by the thought of honoring qing in late Ming, Bian er chai is considered to be a collection of novels that truly describe homosexuality. This thesis uses the concept of masculinity to analyse the dominant/submissive relationship and erotic performance of homosexuals and explore how the negotiation of masculinities has enabled homosexuality to be constructed, developed and de-constructed. The first chapter will summarise the history of homosexual tradition in ancient China and introduce the thought of honoring qing in late Ming, this is to set the context of the thesis. The second chapter will analyse the text of Bian er chai and discuss the reasons and performance of negotiating masculinities, as well as to examine the social situation of homosexuality in ancient China.     “和陶诗”,指和答东晋诗人陶渊明诗作的诗。陶渊明“性本爱丘山”的志趣与“终身与世辞”的选择,使之被称为“古今隐逸诗人之宗”,成为后世失意士人所普遍追和的对象。首位追和陶渊明诗歌者,可追溯至北宋著名文人苏轼。其“和陶诗”也掀起了后人的和陶风气,其中包括元初著名诗人刘因。纵观苏轼与刘因的“和陶诗”,可窥见苏轼的“静而不隐”与刘因的“隐而不静”。苏轼虽不曾辞官归隐,却于“和陶诗”表露其安时处顺之态,故谓之“静而不隐”。反观刘因,虽曾两度推辞征召,却于“和陶诗”展露其欲有所为之志,故谓之“隐而不静”。两人由和陶表达了复杂的仕隐情结,其中“静”与“隐”与陶渊明原诗切合,而“不隐”与“不静”则与原诗相异。这种“既同于渊明,又异于渊明”的创作心理,是由和诗“先阅读,后创作”的特质所引起的和诗诗人对原诗的接受与超越所致。本研究将从“和陶诗”对诗人生活与思想两方面的体现,比较苏轼与刘因的仕隐情结。在此基础上,拟以姚斯接受美学的期待视界概念分析诗人追和陶诗的创作心理,从和诗的特质观察苏轼“静而不隐”与刘因“隐而不静”的现象,以期为“和陶诗”研究提供另一思路。A plentiful number of poets have composed abundant responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming, who is recognised for his seclusion image. Su Shi from the Song dynasty was the first known poet to have initiated the creation of responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming. His practice also triggered the trend for such poems to be greatly produced over the years, and Liu Yin from the Yuan dynasty was one of the many influenced. Having a deep look into their responsorial poems, Su Shi displayed tranquil despite not entering seclusion, while Liu Yin exhibited his careerism despite entering seclusion. Su Shis’ tranquil and Liu Yins’ seclusion correspond to Tao Yuan Ming’s original poems; while Su Shis’ non-seclusion and Liu Yins’ careerism differ from Tao Yuan Ming’s original poems. These contradictions actually portray the characteristic of responsorial poetry, which is the involvement of the process of reading before creating, resulting in poets accepting, as well as going beyond the original poems. This paper aims at providing a comprehensive study of Su Shi and Liu Yins’ responsorial poems to Tao Yuan Ming, in terms of how the poems illustrate both the livelihood and the mentality of the poets. Upon which, the Horizons of Expectations concept from the Aesthetics of Reception theory by Jauss will be employed to explore the underlying factors contributing to the poets’ complexity in mind while creating the responsorial poems, with the intention of providing a new methodology in the research of responsorial poetry to Tao Yuan Ming.
