The publication is based on the lecture given at the IX Congress of the Ukrainian Entomological Society in Kharkiv, Ukraine in August, 2018. The study depicts more then a hundred years of history of acarology in Ukraine. The lecture material is supplemented with bibliography of 180 publications of more than 150 authors, 41 of the publications are monographies. The list includes the most significant works spanning monographies, papers, theses, etc., which characterize the relevant developmental periods of this science. The present paper allows for the automatic data search using references.

Structural constructions made of solid and laminated timber have been widely used in many countries around the world. The emergence of constructions made of laminated timber is due to the fact that obtaining a sufficient cross-section size from natural wood is quite difficult due to limitations. Laminating boards together allowed for larger dimensions of cross-section elements while preserving the positive properties of timber. With the advent of efficient laminating technologies, it became possible to manufacture a wide variety of timber constructions, including curved ones, opening up more possibilities for design using timber. Frames have become one of the main types of building structures due to their simplicity and functionality. Frames have been used by humanity since ancient times and continue to be one of the main constructive forms, which speaks to their eternal relevance and the need for further improvement and development of this constructive form. The study examines the process of the formation and development of frame constructions made of solid and laminated timber, which helps to better understand the processes that have influenced, are influencing, and will influence the calculation and design of frame constructions, thereby helping to formulate a more informed approach to designing and modifying this constructive form. The benefits of designing with laminated timber, its best application in construction and architecture, and the direct advantages of using frame constructions are once again revealed. Будівельні конструкції з цільної та клеєної деревини давно набули широкого застосування в багатьох країнах світу. Рами – стали одним з основних видів будівельних конструкцій завдяки своїй простоті і функціональності. Рами застосовувалися людством з давніх-давен, і дотепер, що говорить про їх вічну актуальність та необхідність подальшого вдосконалення та розвитку даної конструктивної форми. В роботі розглянуто процес становлення і розвитку рамних конструкцій з цільної та клеєної деревини, що допомагає більш точно зрозуміти процеси, які вплинули, впливають і будуть впливати на розрахунок і проєктування рамних конструкцій.

The article is devoted to the issue of organization and activity of the faculty of history of Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University in the 1940s – first half of the 1950s. Today in Ukraine an educational reform is being carried out. Historical reflections and objective analysis of the past will help to identify important aspects of development not only of separate branches of education and science, but also the functioning of separate educational institutions, and to take them into account in modern realities.The main idea of the article is to show the organization and activity of the historic faculty of Drohobych Teachers’ Institute (as the present-day Drohobych University was called) in the 1940s and early 1950s; to describe the student and teacher staff of the faculty, the content of training and education of youth, some aspects of the then everyday life; to trace the influence of the socio-political situation in the region on the work of a higher educational establishment and its subdivisions.The formation in Drohobych of a higher pedagogical institution was associated with the processes of Sovietization on the western lands of Ukraine. Higher education, especially pedagogical, was an important ideological tool for the Stalinist system, a source of the formation of a new Soviet intelligentsia. The first post-occupational entree plan for students at the Faculty of History was 60 students. It went through difficulties and scored two-thirds of the plan. A small number of secondary school graduates was the reason for the shortage. The youth had 6-7 years of school education after the German occupation. In 1952, the faculty enrolled already 50 students. In the postwar years, Ukrainians prevailed among the students. However, the share of local youth was insignificant due to political reasons. From the mid-40’s to the mid-50’s of the twentieth century only 830 teachers-historians were trained at the faculty.In 1946, the staff of the Department of History, which provided teaching at the Faculty of History, comprised 2 teachers. In the first post-war years P. Kozik, V. Tychyna, V. Tryhub, O. Zaichenko, I. Kosharnyi, P. Marunya, O. Dybenko, I. Lisinchuk worked at the department. At the beginning of the work, none of the members of the department staff had a degree or an academic rank. In 1950 P. Kozik defended his Ph. D. thesis.Initially, in the content of education the communist party ideology was prevalent, which was implemented into curricula, programs, and manuals. The students were subjected to ideological treatment, the selection was held in respect of political confidence.The conditions of life and work in the first postwar years were complicated. The situation slowly improved.The Historical Faculty had began its work in 1940 and renewed its activities after the German occupation. During the first postwar years, students and departments of the faculty were gradually formed and the everyday life became settled. The communist party ideology of education and training, neglect of national-spiritual traditions, repressive measures of the power regarding students and teachers negatively affected the training of teachers. У статті показано організацію та діяльність історичного факультету Дрогобицького державного педагогічного університету імені Івана Франка в 40-і та на початку 50-х рр. ХХ ст. Характеризується студентський та викладацький склад факультету, зміст навчання і виховання молоді, деякі аспекти тодішнього повсякдення. Простежується вплив суспільно-політичної ситуації у регіоні на роботу вищого навчального закладу та його підрозділу.

The article is devoted to the interpretation ofthe constructive ideas presented at the X-th Conference of the Slavonic Philosophers “Person in relation to history and conception of the future” (Iwonicz, Poland, 2017), organized by Slavonic Philosophers Association, editorial board of the ΣΟΦΙΑJournal of the Philosophers of Slavonic Countries and Institute of Philosophy, Rzeszow University. It also tells about significance of these ideas for the development of the Ukrainian philosophy of education, in particular, for the development of the methodology and approaches of biographical teaching, its implementation in the educational process as a practical model for shaping the attitude of person to history and the future. Biographical study is considered as a process of developing a model of a person's practical relation to history and the future, aimed at solving the problems of choosing life scenarios and critical analysis of the past in order to overcome ideological deformationscaused by futurophobia, loss of life meaning, social and planetary crises. The reports of the Conference of Slavonic philosophers emphasized the role of philosophy as an inspiration ofscience and recognized significance of philosophy as a powerful impulse to find ways to achieve social progress and personal success, outlined the range of the most pressing problems as a series of crises of a modern person and his/her culture - anthropological, internal, ideological, futurophobia and his/her avoiding the critical analysis of the past, loss of life meaning and the guidelinesfor choosing life scenarios. Constructive involving of biographical method of teaching intothe system of pedagogical strategies in teaching the most of the academic disciplines ingeneral secondary education, as well as in pedagogical education help to solve above-mentioned crises. The methods and principles for the implementation of biographical studies are disclosed through the concept of a biography as a time capsule that is deliberately or subconsciously produced by each individual. It has been established that the development “open to the past and the future” person can be empowered by method of alternative history in biographical teaching, development ability for polarity perception of his/her past and mastering technology of "decisive changes", that means the application and selection of such life scenarios, those have the potential of actual implementation in the nearest future and present, and promote personal self-confidence and in his/her biographical development.

This analyzed the specifics of the propaganda-agitation and organizational activity of the Ioannite sect in the Ekaterinoslav Diocese at the beginning of the 20th century. The spiritual and social circumstances that contributed to the spread of the sectarian movement in the region have been established. This revealed essence of the cult of God-created personality of priest Ioann Kronstadtskiy.The settlements of the diocese were found in which the sectarian congregations functioned. The personal composition of sectarian communities in the region is revealed. The measures of the struggle of the Orthodox Church with Ioannites, defined at the 4th All-Russian Missionary Congress in 1908, were revealed. The heterogeneity of sectarian doctrine was revealed in the communities of the Ioannites. The characteristic features of sectarian prayer collections are revealed.The significance in the Ioannite environment of charismatic leadership is established. Considered the dogma of sectarian doctrine, preached by the head of the sect in Nikopol city V. Horobets. The domestic and spiritual way of life of the Ioannites in Nikopol city, the organization of their monastic cell is illustrated. The sources of funding for the ioanite sect in the Ekaterinoslav Diocese are considered. It was found out that V. Horobets also held anti-Semitic positions in his own propaganda. The evolution of the Ioannites's views on the role of Ioann Kronstadtskiy is analyzed. It was discovered that the sect advocated the doctrine of the dominance of the antichrist on earth in the person of the famous Russian writer L. Tolstoy. It was established that the mystical sect of Ioannites was the branch of the religious movement of the Khlysts. The eschatological foundations of the religious doctrine of the leader of the sect, V. Horobets, who called himself a chosen God, and ultimately the Christ themselves, were traced. It was discovered that the supreme leader of the Orthodox Church in the diocese, although he considered the activity of the sect to be negative, did not support the idea of excommunication V. Horobets as a heretic.The views of ioanites regarding the prohibition of marital cohabitation, the birth of children – the «fetus of sinfulness», which was the result of the destruction of family couples and negligent attitude towards children, and the growth of their mortality in communities. The internal conflicts that have arisen in the Nikopol sect on the basis of material abuse of V. Horobets and his disordered sexual life have been analyzed. The fact of rape by a leader of a sect of one of his juvenile adepts, the resonance of which in the sectarian environment has led to the revision of the Ioannites by the image of V. Horobets, is highlighted. The measures and methods of struggle of Orthodox missionaries with the functioning of the sect are analyzed. It was recorded that among the priests of the Ekaterinoslav Diocese, there were supporters of the sectarian doctrine. It was revealed that since the time of V. Horobets's repentance and renouncing his views, the number of Ioannites has sharply decreased, and community activity has fallen into decline. Проаналізовано специфіку пропагандистсько-агітаційної та організаційної діяльності секти іоаннітів у Катеринославській єпархії на початку ХХ ст. Розкрито сутність культу боготворіння постаті священика Іоанна Кронштадтського. Висвітлено еволюцію поглядів іоаннітів щодо ролі Іоанна Кронштадтського: Христос – святий – пророк. Встановлено вагомість у середовищі іоаннітів харизматичного лідерства. З’ясовано, що містична секта іоаннітів була відгалуженням релігійного руху хлистів. Простежено есхатологічні засади релігійного вчення провідника секти В. Горобця. Висвітлено побутовий та духовний уклад життя іоаннітів у м. Нікополі, організацію ними монастирського осередку. Проаналізовано заходи та методи боротьби православних місіонерів з функціонуванням секти.

Higher education, especially pedagogical, was an important ideological tool for the Stalinist system, a source of the formation of a new Soviet intelligentsia. The first post-occupational entree plan for students at the Faculty of History was 60 students. It went through difficulties and scored two-thirds of the plan. A small number of secondary school graduates was the reason for the shortage. The youth had 6-7 years of school education after the German occupation. In 1952, the faculty enrolled already 50 students. In the postwar years, Ukrainians prevailed among the students. However, the share of local youth was insignificant due to political reasons. From the mid-40’s to the mid-50’s of the twentieth century only 830 teachers-historians were trained at the faculty.In 1946, the staff of the Department of History, which provided teaching at the Faculty of History, comprised 2 teachers. In the first post-war years P. Kozik, V. Tychyna, V. Tryhub, O. Zaichenko, I. Kosharnyi, P. Marunya, O. Dybenko, I. Lisinchuk worked at the department. At the beginning of the work, none of the members of the department staff had a degree or an academic rank. In 1950 P. Kozik defended his Ph. D. thesis.Initially, in the content of education the communist party ideology was prevalent, which was implemented into curricula, programs, and manuals. The students were subjected to ideological treatment, the selection was held in respect of political confidence.The conditions of life and work in the first postwar years were complicated. The situation slowly improved.The Historical Faculty had began its work in 1940 and renewed its activities after the German occupation. During the first postwar years, students and departments of the faculty were gradually formed and the everyday life became settled. The communist party ideology of education and training, neglect of national-spiritual traditions, repressive measures of the power regarding students and teachers negatively affected the training of teachers. У статті показано організацію та діяльність історичного факультету Дрогобицького державного педагогічного університету імені Івана Франка в 40-і та на початку 50-х рр. ХХ ст. Характеризується студентський та викладацький склад факультету, зміст навчання і виховання молоді, деякі аспекти тодішнього повсякдення. Простежується вплив суспільно-політичної ситуації у регіоні на роботу вищого навчального закладу та його підрозділу.
