    Actualmente estamos en la era de la información, nuestra sociedad cada vez necesita más una información precisa y filtrada, que en muchos casos, incluso, puede representar el éxito o la quiebra de muchas de las empresas actuales. Es por este motivo que las redes sociales suponen un nuevo canal de información, que tratando adecuadamente se pueden transformar en resultados de gran valor. A lo largo de este proyecto se ha profundizado en la adquisición de la información mediante la red social Twitter y se ha realizado una simulación con datos reales, ponderando las emociones de los datos recogidos y llegando en un resultado gracias a los algoritmos de procesamiento del lenguaje natural y clasificación de texto. Así viendo todos los pasos a seguir para poder extraer unas conclusiones adecuadas que nos permitan obtener una globalización capaz de definir si un evento ha sido positivo, negativo o neutro. Nowadays we are in the information era, our society needs specific information to their needs, and in many times this represents the success or failure of a company. Is for his reason that the social media have become a very important information channel, which using it properly could help us to achieve very important goals. Throughout this project we got into the gathering information process by using the social media tool Twitter. We've done a simulation with real data pondering the emotions of the information gathered and getting a result thanks to the process algorithms of natural language and text. This simulation helps us to understand the steps to follow to be able to get some conclusions, and decide at the end if an event has been positive, negative or neutral.

    Com la seva generació, Valls és marcat per la Guerra Civil i la repressió franquista. Per això veié la humanitat des del realisme polític pessimista i agonista; i cercà fonamentar filosòficament un «nosaltres» que acabés amb la lluita de tots contra tots. Analitzem els seus atacs als «nosaltres» construïts sobre la classe, la cultura o nació, la societat civil o el «jo» individual, l'emotivisme i el moralisme, que són impotents i alimenten el natural «agonisme» humà. A canvi, Valls primer va creure trobar el «nosaltres» en l'Església, però se'n desmarcà radicalment i només confià en una versió hegeliana de l'Estat. En aquest article, fem un balanç de l'obra i la docència acadèmica del professor recentment desaparegut Like the rest of his generation, Valls was marked by the Spanish Civil War and the Francoist repression. Therefore he viewed humanity from realpolitik, pessimistic and agonistic; he searched to give a philosophical base to an "we" which would end the struggle of one against another. We analyze his attacks on "we" built on class, culture or nationality, civil society o the "I" individual, emotivism or moralism, which are impotent and feed the natural human "agonism". Instead, Valls first thought he'd found the "we" in the church, but then changed radically and only trusted the Hegelian version of the state. In this article we take a balance of the work and teaching of the recently departed professor

    Authors: Tårnesvik, Åshild;

    Frafall fra deltakelse i skole en stor utfordring i Norge, og frafallet er spesielt høyt på yrkesfag. Kritikk om for mye teori og lite relevans på yrkesfaglige linjer har vært et gjentagende tema gjennom flere tiår. Det er konkludert med at videregående opplæring ikke ivaretar mangfoldet i elevgruppen, og at det er viktig å gi elevene ulike opplæringstilbud som er i stand til å inkludere og tilrettelegge for elever med ulike behov. Formålet med denne oppgaven er å belyse viktigheten av et alternativt opplæringsløp for elever som står i fare for å droppe ut av skolen. Gjennom denne masteroppgaven ønsket jeg å undersøke følgende problemstilling: «Hvordan er praksisbrevelevenes opplevelse av et alternativt opplæringstilbud?». Oppgavens problemstilling handler om et alternativt opplæringstilbud i form av praksisbrev. Et opplæringsløp som lar elever arbeide i bedrift fire dager i uken isteden for å få undervisning på skolen. For å besvare problemstillingen har jeg gjennomført kvalitative intervju med elever som har bestått praksisbrevløpet, og som har skrevet lærekontrakt i bedrift. Resultatene viser at elevene opplevde det å arbeide med praktiske oppgaver i stedet for å sitte i klasserommet som utelukkende positivt. Elevene trekker frem viktigheten av å lære sammen med andre, og at konkrete og relevante arbeidsoppgaver fører til motivasjon og yrkesstolthet. Elevene har endret sitt syn på seg selv og sin egen nytteverdi, og flere føler for første gang mestring i skolehverdagen. Dette prosjektets implikasjoner inneholder en oppfordring om at tilbudet om praksisbrev bør utvides, og at flere elever bør få tilbud om et alternativt opplæringstilbud.

    Aquesta nota normativa estableix els fonaments per a un mètode d’avaluació d’impactes en matèria de protecció de dades (AIPD) a la Unió Europea. En primer lloc i com a requisit previ, es proposa un mètode genèric d’avaluació, que pretén ser utilitzat – en tant que adaptat al context particular – a diversos dominis, com ara la pràctica mediambiental, el desenvolupament tecnològic o el legislatiu (Secció 2ª). Tot seguit, en base a aquest mètode genèric i tenint en compte les obligacions establertes pel Reglament General de Protecció de Dades (RGPD), la nota estableix la base d’un mètode específic per a dur a terme un procediment d’AIPD a la UE, adaptable a contextos concrets. La present nota normativa, té per objecte la clarificació de dos aspectes crucials d’aquest mètode que a dia d’avui han demostrat ser altament contenciosos. Per una banda, les tècniques de valoració (és a dir, l’avaluació de la necessitat i proporcionalitat i la valoració de riscs), i de l’altre, la implicació de les parts interessades (incloent-hi la participació de la societat) en la presa de decisions. La secció 4ª ofereix un resum de les conclusions fent una crida a una major orientació, clarificació i adaptació. Aquesta nota normativa, es dirigeix principalment als agents polítics responsables de desenvolupar mètodes d’avaluació d’impacte, als professionals que adapten aquests mètodes al context d’usos concrets i als assessors experts que duen a terme procediments d’avaluació d’acord amb aquests mètodes.

    La interacción hombre-computador es una de las principales áreas de investigación de la Visión por Computador. En este proyecto se presenta un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo de los diferentes métodos del estado del arte de Head/Face Tracking en el contexto de interacción con la cabeza utilizando únicamente la luz natural. Primeramente, se estudia la bibliografía disponible y se analiza el rendimiento de los software libres más relevantes. Estos software son puestos a prueba utilizando métricas de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa para escoger el candidato más óptimo para utilizarlo en un entorno hardware limitado como una Raspberry Pi con una cámara estándar. Finalmente, se implementa un prototipo de software funcional como aplicación de validación del método. Those softwares are tested using both qualitative and quantitative metrics in order to select the optimal candidate to be used in a hardware-limited environment such as a Raspberry Pi with a standard webcam. Finally, a functional software prototype is implemented as a validation aplication for the method.

    This paper focuses on interpreter-mediated interviews with victims, suspects and witnesses under the age of 18 who are vulnerable because of their age, native language and country of presence, with particular emphasis on how to provide the necessary information, support and protection for this group. The paper reports on the results of the European project Cooperation in Interpreter-Mediated Questioning of Minors (CMIQ). As the name suggests, cooperation and teamwork among stakeholders are of paramount importance in interpreter-mediated questioning of minors (ImQM). This contribution will focus on semi-structured interviews conducted by Belgian researchers with twelve Flemish children, boys and girls aged five to 17, of which 11 were hearing and one was deaf. Based on the outcomes of twelve semi-structured interviews with minors, results point to specific perceptions of the interpreter reported by children: the interpreter seems to be the person they turn to when speaking and the person they trust most. Since codes of ethics prescribe, among other things, neutrality and often even ‘invisibility’ on the part of the interpreter, reflection on this topic is necessary. Based on the paramount importance of rapport-building with the child, this paper argues that the role of interpreters should be discussed not only during a briefing,but also in joint interprofessional training. In this way, all stakeholders improve their knowledge of their respective professional roles in ImQM situations, which helps to further tackle contradictory expectations with regard to the role of the interpreter. Keywords: minors; interpreter-mediated questioning; ethical code of the interpreter; briefing;joint interprofessional training. ispartof: Revista de Llengua i Dret - Journal of Language and Law issue:71 pages:27-44 status: published

    Abstract: Semi-natural springs contain complex communities of living organisms that look for constant water supplies. However, an excess of nitrate in the underlying aquifers could affect species richness, especially of those groups that are sensitive to pollution such as bryophytes mosses and liverworts). In this study, we analyse water characteristics and presence of bryophytes in 93 natural springs in Lluçanès region. We find that although a few species can cope with a relative nitrate excess, most of them do not tolerate it, meaning that species richness decreases in the most polluted sources, showing an adverse effect of water pollution on the biodiversity of bryophytes.

    Authors: Tårnesvik, Åshild;

    Frafall fra deltakelse i skole en stor utfordring i Norge, og frafallet er spesielt høyt på yrkesfag. Kritikk om for mye teori og lite relevans på yrkesfaglige linjer har vært et gjentagende tema gjennom flere tiår. Det er konkludert med at videregående opplæring ikke ivaretar mangfoldet i elevgruppen, og at det er viktig å gi elevene ulike opplæringstilbud som er i stand til å inkludere og tilrettelegge for elever med ulike behov. Formålet med denne oppgaven er å belyse viktigheten av et alternativt opplæringsløp for elever som står i fare for å droppe ut av skolen. Gjennom denne masteroppgaven ønsket jeg å undersøke følgende problemstilling: «Hvordan er praksisbrevelevenes opplevelse av et alternativt opplæringstilbud?». Oppgavens problemstilling handler om et alternativt opplæringstilbud i form av praksisbrev. Et opplæringsløp som lar elever arbeide i bedrift fire dager i uken isteden for å få undervisning på skolen. For å besvare problemstillingen har jeg gjennomført kvalitative intervju med elever som har bestått praksisbrevløpet, og som har skrevet lærekontrakt i bedrift. Resultatene viser at elevene opplevde det å arbeide med praktiske oppgaver i stedet for å sitte i klasserommet som utelukkende positivt. Elevene trekker frem viktigheten av å lære sammen med andre, og at konkrete og relevante arbeidsoppgaver fører til motivasjon og yrkesstolthet. Elevene har endret sitt syn på seg selv og sin egen nytteverdi, og flere føler for første gang mestring i skolehverdagen. Dette prosjektets implikasjoner inneholder en oppfordring om at tilbudet om praksisbrev bør utvides, og at flere elever bør få tilbud om et alternativt opplæringstilbud.

    Aquesta nota normativa estableix els fonaments per a un mètode d’avaluació d’impactes en matèria de protecció de dades (AIPD) a la Unió Europea. En primer lloc i com a requisit previ, es proposa un mètode genèric d’avaluació, que pretén ser utilitzat – en tant que adaptat al context particular – a diversos dominis, com ara la pràctica mediambiental, el desenvolupament tecnològic o el legislatiu (Secció 2ª). Tot seguit, en base a aquest mètode genèric i tenint en compte les obligacions establertes pel Reglament General de Protecció de Dades (RGPD), la nota estableix la base d’un mètode específic per a dur a terme un procediment d’AIPD a la UE, adaptable a contextos concrets. La present nota normativa, té per objecte la clarificació de dos aspectes crucials d’aquest mètode que a dia d’avui han demostrat ser altament contenciosos. Per una banda, les tècniques de valoració (és a dir, l’avaluació de la necessitat i proporcionalitat i la valoració de riscs), i de l’altre, la implicació de les parts interessades (incloent-hi la participació de la societat) en la presa de decisions. La secció 4ª ofereix un resum de les conclusions fent una crida a una major orientació, clarificació i adaptació. Aquesta nota normativa, es dirigeix principalment als agents polítics responsables de desenvolupar mètodes d’avaluació d’impacte, als professionals que adapten aquests mètodes al context d’usos concrets i als assessors experts que duen a terme procediments d’avaluació d’acord amb aquests mètodes.

    La interacción hombre-computador es una de las principales áreas de investigación de la Visión por Computador. En este proyecto se presenta un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo de los diferentes métodos del estado del arte de Head/Face Tracking en el contexto de interacción con la cabeza utilizando únicamente la luz natural. Primeramente, se estudia la bibliografía disponible y se analiza el rendimiento de los software libres más relevantes. Estos software son puestos a prueba utilizando métricas de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa para escoger el candidato más óptimo para utilizarlo en un entorno hardware limitado como una Raspberry Pi con una cámara estándar. Finalmente, se implementa un prototipo de software funcional como aplicación de validación del método. La interacció humà-computador és una de les principals àrees d'investigació de la Visió per Computació. En aquest projecte es presenta un estudi quantitatiu i qualitatiu dels diferents mètodes de l'estat de l'art de Head/Face Tracking en el context d'interacció amb el cap utilitzant únicament la llum natural. Primerament, s'estudia la bibliografia disponible i s'analitza el rendiment dels softwares lliures més rellevants. Aquests softwares són posats a prova utilitzant mètriques de forma qualitativa i quantitativa per tal d'escollir el candidat òptim per a utilitzar-ho en un entorn hardware limitat com una Raspberry Pi amb una càmera estàndard. In this project we present a quantative and qualitative study of different state-of-the-art methods for Head/Face Tracking in the context of head interaction using natural light only. First, available bibliography is studied and the performance of the most relevant open source softwares are analized.
