The present invention is a device for the disposal of organic waste by hydrolysis, especially suitable for the disposal of animal waste, cans or sewage sludge from wastewater treatment plants, the use of which can be solved by the above-mentioned deficiencies of the state of the art, temperature and pressure in the presence of water and carbon dioxide as a catalyst, decompose organic waste into nitrogen-containing hydrolysates. The hydrolysates thus prepared are characterized by their stability due to the content of carbon dioxide, high organic nitrogen content, especially the mineral acids, and do not contain any inorganic salts which prevent the use of hydrolysates as fertilizers or feed compound supplements. The hydrolysates thus prepared are then suitable for use in agriculture for the fertilization of plants or as a nitrogenous component in feed mixtures.
