    Nálezy z archeologického výzkumu v Březnici (okr. Tábor) v letech 2005-2009 a 2019. Výzkum provedl O. Chvojka (Archeologický ústav FF JU v Českých Budějovicích). Data zahrnují údaje o keramice a dalších nálezech použitých k depoziční analýze sídlištních objektů mladší doby bronzové, zejména tzv. žlabů. Výsledky analýzy jsou publikovány v Chvojka et al. 2021. Popis databáze je obsažen v přiloženém PDF souboru. Podpořeno Grantovou agenturou ČR (18-10747S). Finds from the archaeological excavations in Březnice (Tábor district, South Bohemia, Czech Republic) in 2005-2009 and 2019. The fieldwork was directed by O. Chvojka (Institute of Archaeology, South Bohemian University in České Budějovice). Data concern the pottery fragments and other finds (daub, loom weights) used for the analysis of deposition processes in the Late Bronze Age settlement features. Based on this material, a model of house biography and the concept of closing rituals were formulated (see Chvojka et al. 2021). These models suggest an interpretation for the so-called trenches, specific sunken features filled with an unusually rich content of secondary-burnt pottery and other finds. Details of the database are given in the attached PDF file. Supported by the Czech Sceince Foundation (18-10747S). Chvojka, O. – Kuna, M. – Menšík, P. et al. 2021: Rituály ukončení a obnovy.     Authors: Čiperová, Monika;

    V rámci rozvíjení výzkumu potravin v minulosti byla vytvořena funkční metodika na základě reakcí antigen-protilátka, která se ukázala jako použitelná pro detekci mléčných proteinů v porézní archeologické keramice. Pomocí této techniky byla prokázána přítomnost mléka skotu v testované keramice, zajištěné pro potřeby práce, pocházející převážně z doby bronzové a stejně tak byla prokázán existence kravského a kozího mléka v neolitické keramice. Současně se během zpracování dat ukázaly rozdíly mezi jednotlivými keramickými zbytky, které mohou vypovídat o rozdílné míře využívání mléčných výrobků mezi regiony, nebo svědčí o odlišném používání keramiky. Na rozdíl od předchozích prací detekujících zbytky mléka v neolitické keramice se podařilo určit, že v keramice jde převážně o zbytky mléka kozího. Mléko skotu je zastoupeno výrazně méně. Jako nejpravděpodobnějších vysvětlující hypotéza se z mého pohledu jeví používaní keramiky pro krmení dětí kozím mlékem, protože je lépe stravitelné, zatímco kravské mléko mohlo být zpracováno takovým způsobem, že přicházelo do kontaktu s keramikou méně, což také mohlo záležet na konkrétních místních tradicích. Vztah mutace pro trávení laktózy v dospělém věku a existence zbytků mléčných zbytků na neolitické keramice, zřejmě není v přímé souvislosti, lidé se pravděpodobně naučili pro konzumaci mléčný cukr odstraňovat, nebo výrazně omezovat. Řešení problémů ohledně mutace pro trávení laktózy a její šíření v evropské populaci bude zřejmě vyžadovat další výzkum. Stejně jako studium způsobů zpracování mléka v minulosti. While developing the research of food strategies in the past a new methodology of antigen-antibody reaction has been established and verified for the detection of milk proteins in the porous surfaces of archaeological ceramics. We demonstrate the presence of cow and goat milk in the examined Neolithic pottery and the presence of cow milk in the Bronze Age pottery. Contrary to the previous published research we show that goat milk prevails among the samples of Neolithic pottery; the cow milk is much less frequent. I prefer to suggest the hypothesis The most likely hypothesis explaining my view seems to reside in the use of pottery for feeding babies with goat milk, which is much easier to digest, whereas cow's milk could have been be processed more often in non-ceramic vessels. The variations recorded in our assemblage may indicate the various extend of dairy production in researched regions, or they may suggest the different use of various ceramic vessels. The presence of milk residues within Neolithic pottery and the lactose tolerance mutation by adults does not seem to be related. Neolithic people probably learned to reduce or eliminate the content of milk sugar. Nevertheless, the further research is necessary for solving the problems of the lactose tolerance mutation and its spreading within European populations. As well as the study of the ways of diary production in the past. Obhájeno

    Voice assistants are systems with main purpose to simplify or automatize common everyday tasks. Users interact with them through voice, allowing them to be used in situations where user has both hands and/or eyes fully occupied, or has limited visual or physical abilities. The topic of this thesis is design and implementation of personal voice assistant with emphasis on easy modifiability and extensibility, capable of basic management of the selected communication platform and reacting to external events. The thesis describes the design of the whole system as well as individual parts and reasons some design choices. The implementation is described along with problems that occurred during the work and their solutions. Hlasoví asistenti jsou systémy, jejichž hlavním účelem je zjednodušit nebo automatizovat běžné každodenní činnosti. Uživatelé s nimi interagují pomocí hlasu, což umožňuje jejich aplikace v situacích, kdy má člověk obě ruce a/nebo oči plně zaměstnané, nebo má omezené zrakové či pohybové schopnosti. Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací systému osobní hlasové asistentky s důrazem na snadnou modifikovatelnost a rozšiřitelnost, schopnou základního ovládání vybrané komunikační platformy a reakcí na vnější podněty. V práci je popsán návrh architektury celého systému i jednotlivých částí a zdůvodněné některé designové volby. Poté je popsána implementace a řešení problémů, které se během práce vyskytly. Obhájeno

    This thesis aims to follow the position of Muslim community in Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the country's historical changes since the 14th century until the nineties of the 20th century when the war in Bosnia nad Herzegovina broke out. It describes the formation of Muslims' political awareness and engagement in their own affairs within a different political environment and suggests causes of Islamic radicalization in the country which is evident on the relatively high numbers of Bosnian citizens leaving as foreign fighters to the Middle Eastern war fields, joining radical groups as so-called Islamic State. Bakalářká práce popisuje pozici islámské komunity v Bosně a Hercegovině během různých historických období země. Dále se zabývá tradiční podobou islámské víry v Bosně a Hercegovině a upozorňuje na její přeměny na konci 20. století a navrhuje možné příčiny těchto změn. Taktéž upozorňuje na neobvykle vysoký počet občanů Bosny a Hercegoviny, kteří odjíždějí na Blízký východ bojovat po boku některé z militantních islamistických skupin. Obhájeno

    Data supplement for the landscape connectivity study between Iron Age settlements (LT B-LT D) in Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area with focus on site of Nižbor (exact quotation of the paper will be added after its official publishing – Venclová, N. –Dreslerová, D. – Kyselý, R. – Dyčka, M. – Šebesta, J. – Pachnerová Brabcová, K. – Bíšková, J. – Matoušek, V. 2024: Paths to this and the next world: A La Tène sunken hut from Nižbor, Central Bohemia. Archeologické rozhledy 76, 329-358). The study is based on the analysis called Cumulative Focal Mobility Network (CFMN), which has been perfected for more than a decade. This method calculates directional-less movement in the artificial environment from a multitude of source points (grid of 256 equally spaced points in a 50 km radius around Nižbor) by means of the interpretation of slope model using hydrological tools (Fábrega-Álvarez 2006; Murrieta-Flores 2012). The resulting x-number of models, representing the most convenient paths to the selection of points, are then merged and analysed with the Density tool to find the highest number of overlaps (for the syntax, see Fig. 14). In practice, these are the corridors for the most convenient movement throughout the landscape (Bellavia 2001; Verhagen 2010; Déderix 2016). In other words, the analysis can be described as an ideal model of connectivity and accessibility of various locations in the terrain and of optimal pathways – natural corridors of movement – leading across the entire landscape (Verhagen et al. 2013; Stančo – Pažout 2020). The 5th generation Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic (DMR 5G) was used for the analysis. It was reclassified to an 8 m cell size and cleared of modern infrastructure developments (Novák et al. 2022). It was combined with the Model of Potential Floodplains in the Czech Republic (Novák 2017), which served as a further buffer for the movement. All analyses were calculated in ArcMap 10.8 software. To reconstruct the position of the studied site in the LT B–LT D period in a broader sense, the settlement pattern should be considered within the Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area and its surroundings (principally Beroun, Kladno, Praha-západ and Rakovník districts in Central Bohemia). An overview of La Tène sites was recently presented (Dreslerová et al. 2022) based on current archaeological records (AMCR database). Hence, in a 50 km radius around Nižbor, 344 positive confirmations of human activity can be found between LT B and LT D. For the needs of this study, the site location was refined by merging the immediately neighbouring ones into clusters, which are further treated as one site with positive confirmation of occupation in LT B–LT D. A total of 149 sites were thus studied in relation to Nižbor. Sources: AMCR database: Archaeological Map of the Czech Republic. Available at: https://digiarchiv.aiscr.cz/ [accessed 01-01-2022].     Authors: Lišková, Zuzana;

    The output of my Diploma Thesis is illustrated book for children of age 5-8 years with its own original story. The book is divided to 11 chapters and describes a journey of young boy little Kubik, to Spanish city Santiago de Compositely. The illustrations are stylised and adapted to a children's eye. Illustrations depict mostly a changing nature and surrounding along the hero's journey in northern Spain. The main colours are blue, brown and yellow, sporadic red. The book has an adventures story about pilgrim. It contains a facts about San Jacobs pilgrimage, about it's history and differences sights along the journey. I believe the colourful illustration will find the interest in the children's audience. The book is suitable as for kids as for their parents. Výstupem diplomové práce je autorská, ilustrovaná, dětská kniha s názvem Svatojakubská pouť. Příběh vypráví putování malého Kubíka, který podniká cestu do španělského poutního města, aby se setkal se svým starším bratrem. Kniha je rozdělena do 11 kapitol a obsahuje ručně malované celostránkové ilustrace. Kapitoly jsou uvedeny drobnými popisnými obrázky. Výsledkem je kompletní dětská kniha s poutavým příběhem, zpracovávající téma poutnictví, obsahující reálie, konkrétní místa i památky.Jako příloha ke knize je hrací pexeso. Obhájeno

    Authors: Pittroffová, Karina;

    The aim of the diploma thesis was to enable pupils obtain more knowledge about sights and history of their place of living ad its surroundings. This paper focuses on the region of Cheb. The expected outcome was achieved by using the project method. Project learning is quite rarely exploited in the Czech school system, while in some foreign countries it has been recognized and approved for a long time. The thesis consists of a history compilation from the region of Cheb and it has a practical part in form of a project "Get to know your surroundings" which is divided into 5 project days. The project is meant for primary school pupils from the 4th and 5th class and it is aimed at history and geography syllabus. Pupils were responsible for their work in the project, which resulted in more effective activities and better results. The individual project days can be put into practice separately. The fact that all of them were implemented outdoors enabled the pupils to look at the different sights and, thus, to reinforce their historical knowledge about them. The initial information was obtained in the course of the individual project days preliminary when pupils used different sources for this purpose. Several worksheets and outings have been compiled and are available for further use. The appendix of the thesis contains photographs of the historical sights and of their aspects of interest. Given that during the project pupils obtained many helpful attainments, the study proved that the use of project learning in history and geography is very useful. Another constructive aspect of this method lies in linking history and geography syllabus with biology program, traffic education and other parts of the learning process. Moreover, pupils not only developed a positive attitude towards sights and nature, but they also gained basic knowledge about their region from the historical perspective. Cílem diplomové práce bylo, aby žáci získali více vědomostí o památkách a historii místa, kde žijí a o jeho okolí. Tato práce je zaměřena na region Cheb. Pomocí projektové metody bylo dosaženo požadovaného cíle. Projektové vyučování je v českém školství poměrně málo využívané, naopak v některých zahraničních zemích je již dlouhodobě zažité a osvědčené. Diplomová práce představuje zpracovanou historii regionu Cheb s praktickou částí v podobě projektu "Poznávej své okolí", který je rozdělen do pěti projektových dnů. Projekt je určen pro žáky 4. a 5. třídy základní školy a je zaměřen na vlastivědné učivo. V projektu žáci převzali svou odpovědnost za práci, tím bylo docíleno efektivnějších činností a lepších výsledků. Jednotlivé projektové dny lze využít samostatně. Projektové dny se uskutečnily v terénu, žáci si památky prohlédli a to přineslo příznivý účinek na upevnění jejich znalostí o památkách. Prvotní informace žáci získali v průběhu přípravy na jednotlivé projektové dny, v níž sami zjišťovali údaje z různých zdrojů. V tomto projektu je zpracováno několik pracovních listů a vlastivědných vycházek, které jsou vhodné i k dalšímu využití. V příloze diplomové práce najdete fotografie historických památek a jejich zajímavostí. Práce prokazuje, že využití projektového vyučování ve vlastivědě je velmi vhodné, během jednoho projektu žáci získali mnoho užitečných vědomostí nejen z vlastivědy. Propojení vlastivědného učiva s přírodovědným učivem, dopravní výchovou a jinými částmi vyučovacího procesu je dalším pozitivním aspektem. Nelze opomenout, že žáci díky projektu získali kladný vztah k památkám a přírodě a mají základní vědomosti o svém regionu z historického pohledu. Obhájeno

    Authors: Ilič, Risto;

    The diploma thesis I Am The One Who's Gonna Steal Your Job deals with the transitional period in the life of a young artist who dreams of career realization in his field. He thinks about how to achieve this when he realizes that even a less established painters can often sell their paintings for thousands of czech crowns, because paintings can be easily commodified and, as a result, placed in the interior. He thus decides to leave his area of practice and tries to get into the market with traditional artistic media with the help of artificial intelligence and marketing. He doesn't go far for visual inspiration, as he tries to recycle and distort photos (so-called visual smog) of a corner store on the other side of the street. The thesis deals with the issue of the emergence of artificial intelligence in the field of visual arts and with the eternal question of the ethics of the authorship of a work of art and its authenticity. It also deals with the question of the employment of art school graduates. Therefore, the work does not only provide a subversive analysis of the art market but also a reflection of the position of the artist participating in this market. Diplomová práce I Am The One Who’s Gonna Steal Your Job se zabývá přechodným obdobím života mladého umělce, který sní o kariérní realizaci ve svém oboru. Přemýšlí jak toho dosáhnout, když si uvědomí že často i méně etablovaný malíř může prodávat své obrazy v řádech tisíců korun, protože se dají jednoduše komodifikovat a v důsledku umístit v interiéru. Rozhodne se tak opustit jemu blízkou sféru tvorby a pokusí se uplatnit na trhu s tradičními uměleckými médii, avšak za pomocí umělé inteligence a marketingu. Pro vizuální inspiraci nejde daleko, jelikož se pokusí recyklovat a deformovat obrazy (takzvaný vizuální smog) z výlohy protější večerky. Práce se věnuje problematice nástupu umělé inteligence v oblasti výtvarného umění, věčné otázce etiky autorství uměleckého díla a jeho autenticity, ale také třeba otázce uplatnění absolventů vysokých uměleckých škol na trhu práce. Jedná se tak nejen o subverzivní analýzu trhu s uměním, ale také o úvahu na téma poptávky, role současného umění ve vztahu k uměleckému trhu a o pozici umělce participujícího na tomto trhu. A

    Nálezy z archeologického výzkumu v Březnici (okr. Tábor) v letech 2005-2009 a 2019. Výzkum provedl O. Chvojka (Archeologický ústav FF JU v Českých Budějovicích). Data zahrnují údaje o keramice a dalších nálezech použitých k depoziční analýze sídlištních objektů mladší doby bronzové, zejména tzv. žlabů. Výsledky analýzy jsou publikovány v Chvojka et al. 2021. Popis databáze je obsažen v přiloženém PDF souboru. Podpořeno Grantovou agenturou ČR (18-10747S). Finds from the archaeological excavations in Březnice (Tábor district, South Bohemia, Czech Republic) in 2005-2009 and 2019. The fieldwork was directed by O. Chvojka (Institute of Archaeology, South Bohemian University in České Budějovice). Data concern the pottery fragments and other finds (daub, loom weights) used for the analysis of deposition processes in the Late Bronze Age settlement features. Based on this material, a model of house biography and the concept of closing rituals were formulated (see Chvojka et al. 2021). These models suggest an interpretation for the so-called trenches, specific sunken features filled with an unusually rich content of secondary-burnt pottery and other finds. Details of the database are given in the attached PDF file. Supported by the Czech Sceince Foundation (18-10747S). Chvojka, O. – Kuna, M. – Menšík, P. et al. 2021: Rituály ukončení a obnovy.     Authors: Čiperová, Monika;

Obhájeno

    Data supplement for the landscape connectivity study between Iron Age settlements (LT B-LT D) in Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area with focus on site of Nižbor (exact quotation of the paper will be added after its official publishing – Venclová, N. –Dreslerová, D. – Kyselý, R. – Dyčka, M. – Šebesta, J. – Pachnerová Brabcová, K. – Bíšková, J. – Matoušek, V. 2024: Paths to this and the next world: A La Tène sunken hut from Nižbor, Central Bohemia. Archeologické rozhledy 76, 329-358). The study is based on the analysis called Cumulative Focal Mobility Network (CFMN), which has been perfected for more than a decade. This method calculates directional-less movement in the artificial environment from a multitude of source points (grid of 256 equally spaced points in a 50 km radius around Nižbor) by means of the interpretation of slope model using hydrological tools (Fábrega-Álvarez 2006; Murrieta-Flores 2012). The resulting x-number of models, representing the most convenient paths to the selection of points, are then merged and analysed with the Density tool to find the highest number of overlaps (for the syntax, see Fig. 14). In practice, these are the corridors for the most convenient movement throughout the landscape (Bellavia 2001; Verhagen 2010; Déderix 2016). In other words, the analysis can be described as an ideal model of connectivity and accessibility of various locations in the terrain and of optimal pathways – natural corridors of movement – leading across the entire landscape (Verhagen et al. 2013; Stančo – Pažout 2020). The 5th generation Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic (DMR 5G) was used for the analysis. It was reclassified to an 8 m cell size and cleared of modern infrastructure developments (Novák et al. 2022). It was combined with the Model of Potential Floodplains in the Czech Republic (Novák 2017), which served as a further buffer for the movement. All analyses were calculated in ArcMap 10.8 software. To reconstruct the position of the studied site in the LT B–LT D period in a broader sense, the settlement pattern should be considered within the Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area and its surroundings (principally Beroun, Kladno, Praha-západ and Rakovník districts in Central Bohemia). An overview of La Tène sites was recently presented (Dreslerová et al. 2022) based on current archaeological records (AMCR database). Hence, in a 50 km radius around Nižbor, 344 positive confirmations of human activity can be found between LT B and LT D. For the needs of this study, the site location was refined by merging the immediately neighbouring ones into clusters, which are further treated as one site with positive confirmation of occupation in LT B–LT D. A total of 149 sites were thus studied in relation to Nižbor. Sources: AMCR database: Archaeological Map of the Czech Republic. Available at: https://digiarchiv.aiscr.cz/ [accessed 01-01-2022]. Obhájeno

    Authors: Pittroffová, Karina;

Obhájeno

    Authors: Ilič, Risto;
