将棋と文学研究会は、「将棋と日本文学の関係について、幅広い観点から明らかにしていくことを目指して」活動を行なってきた。その際、「将棋と文学」というテーマについては、あらかじめ方法や範囲などを固定するのではなく、柔軟に捉えてきた、といってよい。複数の分野を跨いだ多様な研究の場を作っていくにあたって、それは必要なことであった。実際、本研究会の活動を通して、従来の専門分化した領域に収まらない、興味深い考察が多く生み出された。前著『将棋と文学スタディーズ』と、その第二弾企画である本書は、そうした意味での「将棋と文学研究」についての成果報告であるといえる。他方、私を含めた本研究会参加者の一部は日本近代文学研究を専門領域としており、その領域内部での研究の意義といったものを、どこかで意識していたこともたしかである。このことの意味については、改めて考えてよいように思う。そこで以下、本研究会が進めてきた「将棋と文学研究」を、日本近代文学研究における「文学史」と対照しつつ、文学史とは別の仕方で考えるための手がかりを提示してみたい。 2022-04-01～2027-03-31科学研究費用補助金・若手研究（研究課題/領域番号：22K13043）将棋と文学総合データベースの構築

The efficient market hypothesis (EMH) plays a fundamental role in modern financial theory. Previous empirical studies have tested the weak and semi-strong forms of EMH with typical financial data, such as historical stock prices and annual earnings. However, few tests have been extended to include alternative data such as tweets. In this study, we use 1) two stock tweet datasets that have different features and 2) nine natural language processing (NLP)-based deep learning models to test the semi-strong form EMH in the United States stock market. None of our experimental results show that stock tweets with NLP-based models can prominently improve the daily stock price prediction accuracy compared with random guesses. Our experiment provides evidence that the semi-strong form of EMH holds in the United States stock market on a daily basis when considering stock tweet information with the NLP-based models.

本研究では金沢の蔵宿、鍋屋高畠家文書のうち未整理となっている学芸・生活文化関連文書の整理・調査を通じて、近世金沢商人の豊かな生活文化の実態を解明することを目的とした。当初目的通り、未整理となっている鍋屋文書の学芸・生活文化関連史料の調査・整理について、加賀藩研究の各分野の研究者や金沢大学日本史学研究室所属の院生・学生の協力を得て、史料調査を進めた。しかし、史料調査については、当初、2000点程度と予想していたよりも未調査の史料点数が多いことが調査を進めていくうちに判明した。さらに、所蔵者より近代・現代文書を1000点程度保存しているという情報を得た。研究協力者とも相談の結果、貴重な金沢の商家文書でもあり散逸を防ぐ必要があると判断されたため、今年度の研究にそれらの文書の整理・調査を加えることとした。その結果、史料調査・整理の点数が大幅に増えたこともあり、当初計画に掲げた史料調査・整理の完了及び目録の発行まで行うことはできなかった。しかし、金沢市内では珍しい商家文書であり、かつ近世後期から戦後に至る一体的な文書群でもあるので、今後も調査を継続して、金沢商人の実態解明につなげていきたい。(既に研究協力者の上田長生氏による継続的な調査が開始されている。)生活文化関連文書では、当主や家族の冠婚葬祭についての式次第を記載した史料が数多く残されており、解読を進めているところである。現段階では、冠婚葬祭には金沢の富裕な町人が名を連ねており、儀礼や献立の詳細を把握することできた。また、茶会記等も残されており、歴代当主が茶道をはじめとする諸芸能にいそしんだことが明らかとなった。とりわけ、8代伊兵衛が和歌・国学にはげんで残した膨大な詠草の全貌が判明しつつあり、加賀藩領内外の歌人・国学者と交流を持ったことが分かる。さらに、明治初年には国学研究をかわれて、小坂神社をはじめとする金沢とその近郊の神職を務め、明治維新期の神道説教で石川県域を奔走した姿がうかがわれた。今後、残る史料の整理を進めて、目録を刊行し、鍋屋高畠家の生活文化の本格的な分析を進めていきたい。 研究課題/領域番号:16H00030, 研究期間(年度):2016 金沢大学

We conducted a case study on the protection and utilization of archaeological and historical materials located in schools in Kyoto Prefecture. As a result, We could confirm the existence of materials in schools, regardless of whether they are elementary, middle, or high school. And we could find that archaeological artifacts and school-specific teaching materials (e.g., archaeological and anthropological model specimens, pupils' works) could help to elucidate educational, academic, and local history, and also lead to the solidarity of local residents. In addition to social studies and integrated learning, the practical application of the materials in schools, such as calligraphy and information technology education, was shown. A growing body of literature examines the relationships between historical events and contemporary economic outcomes. Recent studies estimate the causal effects using detailed historical data and contemporary microdata of individuals and/or households. In this paper, we discuss conceptual and empirical issues inherent in the causal inference following the potential outcomes framework. Using an empirical example, we also illustrate a simple alternative approach to avoid these issues that is coherent with the potential outcomes framework.
