    In order to prevent the illegal export of paintings abroad, a museum examination using various methods for studying a work of art is carried out. At the same time, an analysis is also made of historical, art history, financial and other information and documents confirming the painting’s authenticity — provenance. Automation of such examination is hampered by the need to take into account numerical values of visual features, quality indicators, and verbal descriptions from provenance. In this paper, we consider the problem of automatic multi-task classification of paintings for museum expertise. A system architecture is proposed that checks provenance, implements a fine-grained image analysis (FGIA) of visual image features, and automatically classifies a painting by authorship, genre, and time of creation. Provenance is contained in a knowledge graph; for its vectorization, it is proposed to use a graph2vec type encoder with an attention mechanism. Fine-grained image analysis is proposed to be performed using searching discriminative regions (SDR) and learning discriminative regions (LDR) allocated by convolutional neural networks. To train the classifier, a generalized loss function is proposed. A data set is also proposed, including provenance and images of paintings by European and Ukrainian artists. Для запобігання незаконному вивезенню картин за кордон проводиться музейна експертиза з використанням різних методів дослідження твору мистецтва, зокрема аналіз історичних, мистецтвознавчих, фінансових та інших відомостей і документів, що підтверджують справжність картин – провенансу. Автоматизація такої експертизи ускладнюється необхідністю враховувати числові значення візуальних ознак, показників якості та словесні описи з провенансу. Розглянуто завдання автоматичної багатозадачної класифікації картин під час музейної експертизи. Запропоновано архітектуру системи, яка перевіряє провенанс, реалізує детальний аналіз (FGIA) візуальних ознак зображення та виконує автоматичну класифікацію картини за авторством, жанром та часом створення. Провенанс міститься у графі знань, для векторизації якого запропоновано використовувати енкодер типу graph2vec з механізмом уваги, а детальний аналіз пропонується виконувати за допомогою пошукових відмітних регіонів (SDR) та навчальних відмітних регіонів (LDR), що виділяються згортковими нейронними мережами. Для навчання класифікатора запропоновано узагальнену функцію втрат, а також набір даних, що включає провенанс та зображення картин європейських та українських художників.

    Authors: Bertail, Thomas; Scott, Dread;

    American performance artist Dread Scott has dedicated his artistic practice to depicting the ghosts of slavery and violence that haunt the American story, subvert its institutions, and undermine social relations between peoples. His work interrogates history by seeking to engage the audience in considering their own beliefs about the past as well as the present, and provokes a political response. The artist desecrates the symbols of American myth and takes its founding heroes apart, recalling Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver’s statement, “The white heroes, their hands dripping with blood, are dead.” (Eldridge Cleaver, A Soul on Ice, Menlo Park, Ramparts, 1968) In this interview, Dread Scott looks back on his entire career, from the adoption of his professional name to his most recent works. While he emphasizes the importance of the history of slavery for understanding the power relations that govern the world, he invites us to reread these relations from an economic point of view in order to question the impact of capitalism on the origins of this violence. Le performeur et plasticien étatsunien Dread Scott a dédié sa pratique artistique à dépeindre le spectre de l’esclavage et de la violence qui hante le récit américain, tourmente ses institutions et mine les rapports sociaux entre les peuples. Son œuvre interroge l’histoire en veillant à engager le public à considérer ses propres certitudes sur le passé comme le présent et de susciter une réaction politique. L’artiste profane les symboles du mythe américain et défait ses héros fondateurs, rappelant la déclaration du Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver : « Les héros blancs, aux mains ruisselantes de sang, sont morts. » (Eldridge Cleaver, Un Noir à l’ombre, Paris, Seuil, 1969). Dans cet entretien, Dread Scott revient sur l’ensemble de sa carrière, de l’adoption de son nom d’artiste, à ses œuvres les plus récentes en passant par ses premiers coups d’éclat. S’il constate l’importance de l’histoire de l’esclavage pour la compréhension des rapports de domination qui régissent le monde, il invite avant tout à relire ces rapports d’un point de vue économique pour interroger le poids du capitalisme sur l’origine de ces violences. El artista performático y plástico estadunidense Dread Scott ha dedicado su práctica a pintar el espectro de la esclavitud y de la violencia que ronda el relato estadunidense, atormenta sus instituciones y mina las relaciones sociales entre los pueblos. Su obra interroga la historia invitando al público a reconsiderar sus propias certidumbres tanto sobre el pasado como sobre el presente y a suscitar una reacción política. El artista profana los símbolos del mito estadunidense y desarma a sus próceres, recordando la declaración del Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver: “Los héroes blancos, de manos ensangrentadas, han muerto.” (Eldridge Cleaver, Un Noir à l’ombre, Paris, Seuil, 1969). En esta entrevista, Dread Scott revisa el conjunto de su carrera, desde la adopción de su nombre artístico a sus obras más recientes, pasando por sus primeras irrupciones. Si bien resalta la importancia de la historia de la esclavitud para la comprensión de las relaciones de dominación que rigen el mundo, invita a releer esas relaciones desde un punto de vista económico para analizar el peso del capitalismo en el origen de estas violencias. O performer e artista visual estadunidense Dread Scott tem dedicado a sua prática artística à representação da escravidão e da violência que assombram a história americana, atormentam suas instituições e abalam as relações sociais entre os povos. Sua obra interroga a história, procurando levar o público a considerar as suas certezas sobre o passado como o presente e provocar uma reação política.O artista profana os símbolos do mito americano e desfaz os seus heróis fundadores, lembrando a declaração do Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver: « Os heróis brancos, com as mãos cheias de sangue, morreram. » (Eldridge Cleaver, Un Noir à l’ombre, Paris, Seuil, 1969) Nesta entrevista, Dread Scott evoca o conjunto de sua carreira, desde a adopção de seu nome de artista até suas obras mais recentes, passando pelos seus primeiros estrondos. Se ele reconhece a importância da história da escravidão para entender as relações de dominação que regem o mundo, ele convida-nos sobretudo a reler essas relações de um ponto de vista económico para questionar o peso do capitalismo na origem dessa violência.

    Communication is the exchange of ideas between individuals. Humans communicate verbally, in writing, or visually. In everyday life, most people communicate verbally. This is because it is the easiest and most efficient method of communication. Although the hearing people communicate verbally, the deaf cannot exchange their thoughts in the same manner. Therefore, people with hearing impairments use the british sign language to communicate with each other. However, it is difficult for the deaf to communicate like the hearing people. In addition, they find it challenging to perpetrate the activities performed by the hearing people in their daily life. Thus, this paper proposes a system that not only enables the deaf to communicate with the hearing people but also performs their daily life activities. The proposed system is able to convert a text in a picture or video into a british sign language and a video in british sign language into standard text. In addition, hearing people can use it to learn the british sign language method.

    The study reveals the increased interest in digitized memoirs and diaries, presenting the various forms in which the confessional literature of detention is circulated through new electronic and multimedia technologies. Special attention is paid to preserving traumatic memory in its original form, rehabilitating the collective memory of individuals under the oppressive Soviet regime, and reflecting the concepts of trans media storytelling and digital humanities. Essentially, nothing can more successfully combine the strengths of research practices in history, memorial studies, and computational linguistics than digital humanities, which make available to the general public a fundamental approach to the research and critical study of Gulag literature. From the point of view of the materialization of the narrative and the narrative flow, the perspective through which we examine the relationship between Alexei Marinat’s memoirs and digital technology is that of digital humanities, which engages, in addition to the critical practice of contextualizing the text, the exercise of textualizing the context, reading the events of history and culture, as part of literary and artistic production. In this context, digital technologies, along with the increased availability of electronic storage media, have allowed the Bessarabian memorialist to digitize a consistent page from the vast history and literature of Gulag detention. Internet of Things (IoT) provides the transparent and seamless services to the deployed application. However, the IoT environment subjected to the challenge of the data security for the deployed environment. The presence of the IoT devices in the network comprises of the evolution, advancement and huge data for the frequent attackers in the network. The hackers of the IoT network uses the large number of data attacker to identify and collects the personal information and identity of the data. To make the IoT devices more manageable and secure for the different environment it is necessary to develop a appropriate security scheme. This paper proposed a Reconstructed Network Logic optimization (RNLO) model for the data security in IoT. The proposed RNLO model uses the reconstructed network logic features for the estimation of the features. Through the reconstructed algorithm the logic is characterized with the optimization model. The implementation of the optimization model uses the estimation of the node is attacker or not with the scoring value in the optimized values. To enhance the security the Arduino Duo based secure vaults is implemented in the proposed RNLO for the security improvement. The experimental analysis expressed that proposed RNLO model increases the attack prevention rate with the improved accuracy value of 99% which is ~5% higher than the existing attack detection techniques.

    This project presents a new approach to forecast the behavior of time series based on similarity of pattern sequences. First, clustering techniques are used with the aim of grouping and labeling the samples from a dataset. Thus, the prediction of a data point is provided as follows. First, the pattern sequence prior to the day to be predicted is extracted. Then, this sequence is searched in the historical data and the prediction is calculated by averaging all the samples immediately after the matched sequence. The main novelty is that only the labels associated with each pattern are considered to forecast the future behavior of the time series, avoiding the use of real values of the time series until the last step of the prediction process. Results from several energy time series are reported and the performance of the proposed method is compared to that of recently published techniques showing a remarkable improvement in the prediction.

    Authors: Bertail, Thomas; Scott, Dread;
