Osmanov;A new mechanism of particle acceleration, based on the resonant interaction of a classical electromagnetic wave (EM) with a quantum wave (associated with a relativistic particle), is explored. In a model illustrative calculation, we study the fate of a Klein Gordon wave subjected to the intense radio frequency waves generated in the vicinity of an active galactic nuclei (AGN). In the framework of the paper we examine a quantum wave associated with a relativistic particle, and it is shown that the group velocity of the wave approaches the speed of light, implying that the particles resonantly exchange energy with EM waves, eventually leading to acceleration of particles to very high energies. For typical parameters of under accreting Eddington radio AGN, it is shown that the resonant energization could catapult particles to extreme energies $\sim 10^{16-20}$eV. 4 pages, 2 figures

Meißner;Yonghui Lin; Hans-Werner Hammer; Ulf-G. Meißner;We present a combined analysis of the electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon in the space- and timelike regions using dispersion theory. Our framework provides a consistent description of the experimental data over the full range of momentum transfer, in line with the strictures from analyticity and unitarity. The statistical uncertainties of the extracted form factors are estimated using the bootstrap method, while systematic errors are determined from variations of the spectral functions. We also perform a high-precision extraction of the nucleon radii and find good agreement with previous analyses of spacelike data alone. For the proton charge radius, we find $r_E^p = 0.840^{+0.003}_{-0.002}{}^{+0.002}_{-0.002}$~fm, where the first error is statistical and the second one is systematic. The Zemach radius and third moment are in agreement with Lamb shift measurements and hyperfine splittings. The combined data set of space- and timelike data disfavors a zero crossing of $\mu_p G_E^p/G_M^p$ in the spacelike region. Finally, we discuss the status and perspectives of modulus and phase of the form factors in the timelike region in the context of future experiments as well as the onset of perturbative QCD. In this paper, we introduce the concept of ‘societal emotional environment’: the emotional climate of a society (operationalized as the degree to which positive and negative emotions are expressed in a society). Using data collected from 12, 888 participants across 49 countries, we show how societal emotional environments vary across countries and cultural clusters, and we consider the potential importance of these differences for well-being. Multilevel analyses supported a ‘double-edged sword’ model of negative emotion expression, where expression of negative emotions predicted higher life satisfaction for the expresser but lower life satisfaction for society. In contrast, partial support was found for higher societal life satisfaction in positive societal emotional environments. Our study highlights the potential utility and importance of distinguishing between positive and negative emotion expression, and adopting both individual and societal perspectives in well- being research. Individual pathways to happiness may not necessarily promote the happiness of others.

Background: Seeking consent rapidly in acute stroke trials is crucial as interventions are time sensitive. We explored the association between consent pathways and time to enrollment in the TICH-2 (Tranexamic Acid in Intracerebral Haemorrhage-2) randomized controlled trial. Methods: Consent was provided by patients or by a relative or an independent doctor in incapacitated patients, using a 1-stage (full written consent) or 2-stage (initial brief consent followed by full written consent post-randomization) approach. The computed tomography-to-randomization time according to consent pathways was compared using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Multivariable logistic regression was performed to identify variables associated with onset-to-randomization time of ≤3 hours. Results: Of 2325 patients, 817 (35%) gave self-consent using 1-stage (557; 68%) or 2-stage consent (260; 32%). For 1507 (65%), consent was provided by a relative (1 stage, 996 [66%]; 2 stage, 323 [21%]) or a doctor (all 2-stage, 188 [12%]). One patient did not record prerandomization consent, with written consent obtained subsequently. The median (interquartile range) computed tomography-to-randomization time was 55 (38–93) minutes for doctor consent, 55 (37–95) minutes for 2-stage patient, 69 (43–110) minutes for 2-stage relative, 75 (48–124) minutes for 1-stage patient, and 90 (56–155) minutes for 1-stage relative consents ( P <0.001). Two-stage consent was associated with onset-to-randomization time of ≤3 hours compared with 1-stage consent (adjusted odds ratio, 1.9 [95% CI, 1.5–2.4]). Doctor consent increased the odds (adjusted odds ratio, 2.3 [1.5–3.5]) while relative consent reduced the odds of randomization ≤3 hours (adjusted odds ratio, 0.10 [0.03–0.34]) compared with patient consent. Only 2 of 771 patients (0.3%) in the 2-stage pathways withdrew consent when full consent was sought later. Two-stage consent process did not result in higher withdrawal rates or loss to follow-up. Conclusions: The use of initial brief consent was associated with shorter times to enrollment, while maintaining good participant retention. Global freshwater biodiversity is declining dramatically, and meeting the challenges of this crisis requires bold goals and the mobilisation of substantial resources. While the reasons are varied, investments in both research and conservation of freshwater biodiversity lag far behind those in the terrestrial and marine realms. Inspired by a global consultation, we identify 15 pressing priority needs, grouped into five research areas, in an effort to support informed stewardship of freshwater biodiversity. Thе system consists of a two-layer multicomponent fibrin-based gel (MCPFTG). The internal layer of MCPFTG, which is in direct contact with the wound surface, contains cisplatin placed on a CultiSpher-S collagen microcarrier. The external layer of MCPFTG consists of a CultiSpher-S microcarrier with lyophilized bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs). The efficacy of MCPFTG was evaluated in a rat model of squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue created with 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide. The results of the study showed that, within 20-25 days, a non-healing wound of the tongue was formed in animals that underwent only 85% resection of squamous cell carcinoma, while rapid progression of the residual tumor was concomitantly observed. Immunohistochemical methods revealed high expression of cyclin D1 and low expression of E-cadherin in these animals. Additionally, high expression of p63 and Ki-67 was noted. In 80% of animals with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue that were treated with MCPFTG after 85% tumor resection, a noticeable suppression of tumor growth was evident throughout 150 days, and tumor recurrence was not detected. Immunohistochemistry revealed low or moderate expression of cyclin D1, and high expression of E-cadherin throughout the whole observation period. The MCPFTG-based local drug delivery system was shown to be effective in suppressing tumor growth and preventing recurrence. MCPFTG decreased the toxicity of cisplatin and enhanced its antitumor activity. In addition, lyophilized paracrine BMSC factors present in MCPFTG accelerated wound healing after tumor removal. Thus, the present study suggests novel opportunities for the development of a multifunctional drug delivery system for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma.

The three-body decay is reduced to various quasi two-body decays, where the $B$ meson firstly decays into a resonance and a pion or a kaon, subsequently the resonance decays into the other two final-state mesons. The quasi two-body decays are calculated within the light-cone sum rule approach utilizing the leading twist $B$ meson light-cone distribution amplitudes. Finally, the decay branching fraction contribution from each resonance are calculated. Some of them are compatible with experiment or previous theoretical works. Including the effects of non-resonant and final-state interactions, we also evaluate the total branching fraction. Comment: 29 pages, 1 figure

This new troglobitic Plusiocampa is an addition to four others known Diplura from around the Black Sea region, two Dydimocampa and two Plusiocampa s. str. The present study also provides the first CO1 sequences for the Plusiocampinae taxa and the first molecular data for cave-dwelling Plusiocampa species. Although bootstrap values were low, the maximum-likelihood phylogenetic tree grouped Plusiocampa (P.) imereti Sendra & Barjadze sp. nov. with two Plusiocampa s. str. species from Eastern Europe. Morphologically, P. (P.) imereti Sendra & Barjadze sp. nov. is closely related to two cave-dwelling species: Plusiocampa (Plusiocampa) glabra Condé, 1984 and Plusiocampa (P.) chiosensis Sendra & Gasparo, 2020. The new species can be distinguished by the presence of lateral anterior macrosetae on metanotum, more uneven claws, and the presence of 2+2 lateral anterior macrosetae on middle urotergites. The five species currently known for the Black Sea region inhabit caves located at low altitude but with no influence from former glacial or permafrost processes.

Osmanov;A new mechanism of particle acceleration, based on the resonant interaction of a classical electromagnetic wave (EM) with a quantum wave (associated with a relativistic particle), is explored. In a model illustrative calculation, we study the fate of a Klein Gordon wave subjected to the intense radio frequency waves generated in the vicinity of an active galactic nuclei (AGN). In the framework of the paper we examine a quantum wave associated with a relativistic particle, and it is shown that the group velocity of the wave approaches the speed of light, implying that the particles resonantly exchange energy with EM waves, eventually leading to acceleration of particles to very high energies. For typical parameters of under accreting Eddington radio AGN, it is shown that the resonant energization could catapult particles to extreme energies $\sim 10^{16-20}$eV. 4 pages, 2 figures

Meißner;Yonghui Lin; Hans-Werner Hammer; Ulf-G. Meißner;We present a combined analysis of the electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon in the space- and timelike regions using dispersion theory. Our framework provides a consistent description of the experimental data over the full range of momentum transfer, in line with the strictures from analyticity and unitarity. The statistical uncertainties of the extracted form factors are estimated using the bootstrap method, while systematic errors are determined from variations of the spectral functions. We also perform a high-precision extraction of the nucleon radii and find good agreement with previous analyses of spacelike data alone. For the proton charge radius, we find $r_E^p = 0.840^{+0.003}_{-0.002}{}^{+0.002}_{-0.002}$~fm, where the first error is statistical and the second one is systematic. The Zemach radius and third moment are in agreement with Lamb shift measurements and hyperfine splittings. The combined data set of space- and timelike data disfavors a zero crossing of $\mu_p G_E^p/G_M^p$ in the spacelike region. Finally, we discuss the status and perspectives of modulus and phase of the form factors in the timelike region in the context of future experiments as well as the onset of perturbative QCD. In this paper, we introduce the concept of ‘societal emotional environment’: the emotional climate of a society (operationalized as the degree to which positive and negative emotions are expressed in a society). Using data collected from 12, 888 participants across 49 countries, we show how societal emotional environments vary across countries and cultural clusters, and we consider the potential importance of these differences for well-being. Multilevel analyses supported a ‘double-edged sword’ model of negative emotion expression, where expression of negative emotions predicted higher life satisfaction for the expresser but lower life satisfaction for society. In contrast, partial support was found for higher societal life satisfaction in positive societal emotional environments. Our study highlights the potential utility and importance of distinguishing between positive and negative emotion expression, and adopting both individual and societal perspectives in well- being research. Individual pathways to happiness may not necessarily promote the happiness of others.

Background: Seeking consent rapidly in acute stroke trials is crucial as interventions are time sensitive. We explored the association between consent pathways and time to enrollment in the TICH-2 (Tranexamic Acid in Intracerebral Haemorrhage-2) randomized controlled trial. Methods: Consent was provided by patients or by a relative or an independent doctor in incapacitated patients, using a 1-stage (full written consent) or 2-stage (initial brief consent followed by full written consent post-randomization) approach. The computed tomography-to-randomization time according to consent pathways was compared using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Multivariable logistic regression was performed to identify variables associated with onset-to-randomization time of ≤3 hours. Results: Of 2325 patients, 817 (35%) gave self-consent using 1-stage (557; 68%) or 2-stage consent (260; 32%). For 1507 (65%), consent was provided by a relative (1 stage, 996 [66%]; 2 stage, 323 [21%]) or a doctor (all 2-stage, 188 [12%]). One patient did not record prerandomization consent, with written consent obtained subsequently. The median (interquartile range) computed tomography-to-randomization time was 55 (38–93) minutes for doctor consent, 55 (37–95) minutes for 2-stage patient, 69 (43–110) minutes for 2-stage relative, 75 (48–124) minutes for 1-stage patient, and 90 (56–155) minutes for 1-stage relative consents ( P <0.001). Two-stage consent was associated with onset-to-randomization time of ≤3 hours compared with 1-stage consent (adjusted odds ratio, 1.9 [95% CI, 1.5–2.4]). Doctor consent increased the odds (adjusted odds ratio, 2.3 [1.5–3.5]) while relative consent reduced the odds of randomization ≤3 hours (adjusted odds ratio, 0.10 [0.03–0.34]) compared with patient consent. Only 2 of 771 patients (0.3%) in the 2-stage pathways withdrew consent when full consent was sought later. Two-stage consent process did not result in higher withdrawal rates or loss to follow-up. Conclusions: The use of initial brief consent was associated with shorter times to enrollment, while maintaining good participant retention. Global freshwater biodiversity is declining dramatically, and meeting the challenges of this crisis requires bold goals and the mobilisation of substantial resources. While the reasons are varied, investments in both research and conservation of freshwater biodiversity lag far behind those in the terrestrial and marine realms. Inspired by a global consultation, we identify 15 pressing priority needs, grouped into five research areas, in an effort to support informed stewardship of freshwater biodiversity. Thе system consists of a two-layer multicomponent fibrin-based gel (MCPFTG). The internal layer of MCPFTG, which is in direct contact with the wound surface, contains cisplatin placed on a CultiSpher-S collagen microcarrier. The external layer of MCPFTG consists of a CultiSpher-S microcarrier with lyophilized bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs). The efficacy of MCPFTG was evaluated in a rat model of squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue created with 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide. The results of the study showed that, within 20-25 days, a non-healing wound of the tongue was formed in animals that underwent only 85% resection of squamous cell carcinoma, while rapid progression of the residual tumor was concomitantly observed. Immunohistochemical methods revealed high expression of cyclin D1 and low expression of E-cadherin in these animals. Additionally, high expression of p63 and Ki-67 was noted. In 80% of animals with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue that were treated with MCPFTG after 85% tumor resection, a noticeable suppression of tumor growth was evident throughout 150 days, and tumor recurrence was not detected. Immunohistochemistry revealed low or moderate expression of cyclin D1, and high expression of E-cadherin throughout the whole observation period. The MCPFTG-based local drug delivery system was shown to be effective in suppressing tumor growth and preventing recurrence. MCPFTG decreased the toxicity of cisplatin and enhanced its antitumor activity. In addition, lyophilized paracrine BMSC factors present in MCPFTG accelerated wound healing after tumor removal. Thus, the present study suggests novel opportunities for the development of a multifunctional drug delivery system for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma.

The three-body decay is reduced to various quasi two-body decays, where the $B$ meson firstly decays into a resonance and a pion or a kaon, subsequently the resonance decays into the other two final-state mesons. The quasi two-body decays are calculated within the light-cone sum rule approach utilizing the leading twist $B$ meson light-cone distribution amplitudes. This new troglobitic Plusiocampa is an addition to four others known Diplura from around the Black Sea region, two Dydimocampa and two Plusiocampa s. str. The present study also provides the first CO1 sequences for the Plusiocampinae taxa and the first molecular data for cave-dwelling Plusiocampa species. Although bootstrap values were low, the maximum-likelihood phylogenetic tree grouped Plusiocampa (P.) imereti Sendra & Barjadze sp. nov. with two Plusiocampa s. str. species from Eastern Europe. Morphologically, P. (P.) imereti Sendra & Barjadze sp. nov. is closely related to two cave-dwelling species: Plusiocampa (Plusiocampa) glabra Condé, 1984 and Plusiocampa (P.) chiosensis Sendra & Gasparo, 2020. The new species can be distinguished by the presence of lateral anterior macrosetae on metanotum, more uneven claws, and the presence of 2+2 lateral anterior macrosetae on middle urotergites. The five species currently known for the Black Sea region inhabit caves located at low altitude but with no influence from former glacial or permafrost processes.
