Inertial navigation systems (INS) based on microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS) assisted by global positioning systems (GPS) are widely used for aerospace navigation applications and provide data with high accuracy. However, they present high economic value and fragility. This work addresses the development of a low-cost and open-source GPS-assisted INS for navigation applications where the accuracy, practicality, and replicability obtained in this module are attractive for redundant systems in UAVs, even in tasks with risk of loss or damage. The experimental tests show the records obtained during the flight performance of the Phantom 4 Pro drone in which data from the low-cost INS is compared with the primary vehicle system.

In this release the MATLAB source code for openRE was included in the repository.

This is a set of puzzle activities with unique solutions, that can be solved by correctly performing a series of tasks in R. They are useful for practicing R skills for data analysis.

Bibliotherapy involves the therapeutic use of books and literature to facilitate the expression of feelings and coping skills. The purpose of this research was to analyze the scientific production on bibliotherapy, indexed in Scopus. A bibliometric study was carried out using quantitative methods to know the development of research related to bibliotherapy at a general level. A retrospective recovery of documents was carried out, without a temporality filter, identifying 1,289 records, in which the article predominates as the type of document and English as the language. The most cited author is Cuijpers, while the most prolific is John Pardeck; the most productive countries correspond to the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. Among the most preponderant keywords are: bibliotherapy,female, male, adult, rehabilitation, depression, cognitive therapy, psychotherapy, child and self-care. It is concluded that production has increased systematically during the 21st century, and its use as an auxiliary tool in the treatment of physical and psychological diseases has increased. On the other hand, although bibliotherapy is considered part of the work of librarians, there is not a large production of information professionals. Due to this, it is suggested to increase the research on bibliotherapy from the librarianship perspective

Journal of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science is a biannual publication. Selected research work from annual research sessions (based on scientific merit), as well as other research articles, are invited to submit research manuscripts as per the guidelines provided by SLAAS. SLAAS members may also separately submit their papers for publication. The Journal can be accessed online to view and download the full text of the articles published respectively to the volumes free of charge.
