Computational tool that analyzes, compares and validates analysis and reanalysis datasets with an observed dataset using statistical tests such as Mann Whitney (U-test), t-test, F-test, Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), correlation coefficient, BIAS, normalized BIAS, trend, scatter index and maximum anomalies.

BioData.pt | ELIXIR Portugal, in collaboration with several other organizations has designed a program to train the first generation of Data Stewards for the life sciences, to support the implementation of data management, open science and FAIR data principles in Portuguese R&I organizations. It will unfold from February to November 2022, allowing trainees to get some practice and consolidate the acquired knowledge. It will comprise an introductory module covering the basic concepts of Data Stewardship followed by two assignments and end with a hands-on course for knowledge consolidation. After this program, trainees will be able to make significant contribution in: - Writing data management plans in support to grant applications - Ensuring continuity and sharing of data over projects - Ensuring data quality - Supporting the elaboration of institutional data management guidelines - Supporting compliance with institution data management policy - Contributing to knowledge exchange with regard to data management Although this program was tailored to the needs of Portuguese R&I organizations, applications from other countries are very welcome. JRP24-FBZSH9-BEONE WP1 deliverable 1.3 (Clustering congruence and thresholds) Foodborne pathogens pose an important and serious threat to human and animal health. Therefore, genomics-based surveillance systems able to track the circulation of these pathogens and monitor their clinical and epidemiological relevant features have been implemented at the reference laboratories of multiple countries and sectors. However, there is a lack of harmonization between them that challenges the integration and comparison of data at international and intersectoral levels, and, ultimately, the establishment of fully integrative and efficient One Health genomic surveillance frameworks. In the BeONE project, we aimed to perform a massive comparison between different bioinformatics pipelines used for genomic surveillance of foodborne bacterial pathogens, as a way to assess the congruence and comparability of their clustering results. Specifically, BeONE WP1-T3 had as main objectives the: Evaluation of the behavior of different surveillance-oriented genomics pipelines in the definition of genetic clusters, through the identification of threshold ranges with high resolution for outbreak detection or stable threshold ranges for nomenclature design (useful for longitudinal surveillance); Determination of the congruence with traditional typing nomenclatures, such as Sequence Type (ST) or serovar; Identification of congruent resolution levels between pipelines, as a way to facilitate international data sharing and cooperation; Assessment of the similarities and discrepancies between pipelines in the identification of outbreak-related isolates In this repository, we provide the Deliverable of BeONE WP1-T3 with a brief overview of its activities and the preliminary results obtained until the end of the BeONE project. We anticipate that this study will provide important information regarding the behavior of each pipeline and facilitate the direct comparability of their results.

Create structured grids from a spatial distribution of samples (data collection points) obtained at random geographic locations. These grids can be saved in Matlab and NetCDF formats, the figures corresponding to sampling, triangulation and contours can be saved with 500 DPI in JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and FIG Formats. Data Management Plan of the "OHEJP project: PARADISE"

The SMA-TB Consortium has developed a leaflet with basic information on Tuberculosis to be distributed to general public during communication activities. This leaflet was created within the SMA-TB Project jointly by the IGTP team and the Public Health Agency of Barcelona (ASPB). The Fundació Lluita contra les Infeccions (Fight Infections Foundation) has also contributed to it, and Laura Ginès and Pepón Meneses illustrated it. The leaflet has been translated to several languages by members of the SMA-TB Consortium partners (all listed as contributors) in order others can reuse it: Catalan Spanish French Italian Portuguese Polish Deutsch Norwegian Ukrainian Georgian Afrikaans Per each language, two versions are provided: one to be printed in a home printer and another one to be printed in a print shop.
