    Teachers’ behaviour is a key factor that influences students’ motivation. Many theoretical models have tried to explain this influence, with one of the most thoroughly researched being self-determination theory (SDT). We used a Delphi method to create a classification of teacher behaviours consistent with SDT. This is useful because SDT-based interventions have been widely used to improve educational outcomes. However, these interventions contain many components. Reliably classifying and labelling those components is essential for implementation, reproducibility, and evidence synthesis. We used an international expert panel (N = 34) to develop this classification system. We started by identifying behaviours from existing literature, then refined labels, descriptions, and examples using the experts’ input. Next, these experts iteratively rated the relevance of each behaviour to SDT, the psychological need that each behaviour influenced, and its likely effect on motivation. To create a mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive list of behaviours, experts nominated overlapping behaviours that were redundant, and suggested new ones missing from the classification. After three rounds, the expert panel agreed upon 57 teacher motivational behaviours that were consistent with SDT. For most behaviours (77%), experts reached consensus on both the most relevant psychological need and influence on motivation. Our classification system provides a comprehensive list of teacher motivational behaviours and consistent terminology in how those behaviours are labelled. Researchers and practitioners designing interventions could use these behaviours to design interventions, to reproduce interventions, to assess whether these behaviours moderate intervention effects, and could focus new research on areas where experts disagreed.

    Computational thinking (CT) is currently in different forms being integrated in curricula at all educational levels as an individual subject or as a means to learn other subjects. Furthermore, CT is believed to be a fourth basic skill alongside reading, writing and arithmetic; a skill that is universal and not confined to computer science. The purpose of this learning object is to provide teachers at university colleges, business academies and universities with an overview of CT and enable them to discuss and consider whether it might be relevant for them to integrate CT in their teaching. The learning object will account for different definitions of CT and operationalise CT in phases with each their set of competences. A defining feature of CT is the engagement with algorithms which receives special attention. In addition, the learning object explains different framings of CT in education (the cognitive, social and critical approaches) and different methods (plugged versus unplugged). Furthermore, examples and cases that illustrate how you can work with CT in different educational contexts and teaching practices are presented. The learning object concludes with a series of reflection questions that will help you consider whether it might be relevant for you to integrate CT in your teaching and how this could be done.

    Industrielle mobile robotter har i årevis været en del af produktionsflowet på fabrikker over hele verden. De mangler imidlertid de nødvendige funktioner til at bevæge sig fra de kontrollerede miljøer i fabrikshaller til ukontrollerede miljøer på f.eks. hospitaler eller plejehjem. Servicerobotter er en anden klasse af mobile robotter, som har til formål at operere i disse ukontrollerede miljøer ved hjælp af bedre egenskaber til menneske-robot-interaktion osv. At operere i sådanne miljøer kræver konstant semantisk information om omgivelserne, herunder menneskers og objekters positur.Efterhånden som mobile processorenheder har oplevet en eksponentiel stigning i processorkraft, og store mængder af træningsdata er blevet frigivet til offentligheden, er dybe neurale netværk begyndt at overgå alle andre algoritmer i billedgenkendelsesopgaver. Neurale netværk kan bruges til at vurdere tilstanden af omgivende personer og objekter, herunder deres positur, størrelse og hastighed, hvilket giver robotten en masse oplysninger at basere sin adfærd på. I denne afhandling præsenteres et såkaldt "SPA-map": et system til detektering af semantik, forudsigelse af fremtidige tilstande og estimering af affordances.En af de adfærdsmønstre, som SPA-mappet muliggør, er social navigation. Ved at kombinere semantiske oplysninger om omgivende mennesker med social adfærdsteori skabes en adfærd, der forudsiger fremtidige kollisionspunkter mellem mennesker og robotten, hvilket gør den i stand til at undgå disse punkter på forhånd.SPA-mappet er testet på robotterne SMOOTH og Health-CAT, to servicerobotter, som blev designet og bygget i løbet af denne afhandling. SMOOTH-robotten brugte SPA-mappet til at løse tre forskellige opgaver: opsamling og transport af vasketøj, vejvisning til ældre mennesker og servering af drikkevarer. Health-CAT robotten blev brugt til at samle testdata fra et hospital.
