As the world develops and newer generations take over, society’s way of thinking becomes more modernised. Nowadays there’s a larger focus on inclusion and diversity, and a general strive to create a society that’s more accepting of differences. Danish society has come a long way, yet still has a long way to go when it comes to certain forms of inclusion. An area that has developed over the years, but still lacks attention, is sex education in Danish schools. We find that sex education in general needs to be broader and more inclusive, so that it provides knowledge and comfort to every single student no matter sex, sexual orientation, body type - and especially disabilities - as they are often excluded from these teachings. The “standard” sex education, which most Danish students have or will receive, does not take said differences into account, or at least not to an extent which could be considered inclusive. To create a society with room for diversity, we find it essential to start with the children, so that they don’t feel excluded or wrong, for not relating to the social “norms” of society. If we teach them from a young age that every individual is different, with different needs and preferences, maybe the newer generations can challenge society’s definition of what is “normal” and “abnormal”.With the help of Disability Studies, the purpose of this paper is to challenge future teachers’ understanding of disability, by using methodical tools such as photo elicitation and memory workshop to initiate reflection, which hopefully leads to a meaningful inclusion of the subject in future sex education teachings.

This project examines how young women, aged 18-34, experience the current state of the medical system set in place for the contraceptive device IUD and aims to pinpoint areas with potential for improvement. To examine how something is experienced it must first be understood, therefore the IUD itself is presented first, followed by research studies that study how bad experiences influence future gynecological procedures. A development workshop was held to involve the focus group in the research and obtain the experiences and wishes directly from the young women. Additionally, interviews were conducted with two medical experts from their respective standpoint where their look on the IUD and the materials from the development workshop were discussed. The applied theories of ANT, logic of care, situated knowledge and technological theories and tools like the TRIN model provide perspectives on the empirical data collected from this workshop and the semi structured interviews with the experts. It aims to analyze what actors are involved in the entire network of the IUD. Through mapping of the relational network of actors, both human and non-human, it is made possible to see the contraceptive IUD not just as a device, but as a technological network that spans over many different areas of expertise. A visual model of this network has been developed to aid in pinpointing the areas/actors with potential for improvement. The findings show that young women experience a lack of communication, information and inclusion and wish to be free from adverse effects such as pain. Through analysis of the findings, actors such as the medical providers, public voice, research and the state all have room for improvement while medical providers seem to be the one that has most impact on the woman.

What are the discursive ideas around emerging artificial intelligence in international relations, and what could these mean for the future? Through a combination of quantitative topic modeling and manual qualitative discourse analysis, the project analyzes 55 articles from the epistemically influential Foreign Affairs Magazine. The project identifies five distinct discursive ideas around emerging AI and IR. By applying the English School theory, the project assesses the normativity of the discursive ideas, which, following the project’s constructivist philosophy of science, could shape the future of international society. The project argues that most of the discursive ideas point towards a bifurcation or dissolution of the current nascent global governance efforts around AI. Furthermore, the project finds that the ideals of order and zero-sum power dominate the ideals around global justice.

This study seeks to examine the practice of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) on an organisational level, as well as the implications this has on the organisation’s image and reputation. We examine the aforementioned on the basis of a focus group interview with six participants, which was conducted for the purpose of the study. Our analysis of the statements uttered by the participants is focused on two main themes: Reputation Management for Dove as an organisation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as underlying ethical concerns involved with AI in relation to this. The analysis is followed by a discussion of a set of regulations for public use of AI and whether these regulations should even be presented by Dove, how to ensure that the use of AI is both responsible and transparent, issues related to CSR and ethics, and lastly general deliberations of our empirical situation and results. The study concludes that the use of AI does affect the public opinion of an organisation, and although our case-organisation Dove is solely negatively affected, it is also theoretically possible for an organisation’s image to be positively affected by their use of AI. This does, however, require careful consideration and incorporation of CSR-guidelines.

This project aims to contrast the narratives and institutionalised understandings of solidarity as portrayed by the United Nations through phenomenological exploration of queer people's experiences with, and understandings of solidarity. It means to challenge the institutions’ conceptualisation of solidarity through uncovering the complex variations of this concept. Through that, it aims to explore the role that a phenomenological study can have in challenging institutionalised narratives and understandings. This research contributes to the discourse on solidarity by highlighting the importance of inclusive and diverse perspectives. It calls for a critical reassessment of institutional narratives to ensure they reflect the lived realities of all communities.

Background: Continued global warming threatens the existence of Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The Green Climate Fund (GCF) was established to help vulnerable countries adapt to climate change through easier access to funding and country ownership of financing decisions. However, research reveals that climate adaptation efforts often are inadequate and fail to meet the unique adaptation needs of SIDS.Aim: This study aims to challenge current climate adaptation practices in SIDS, by proposing an Actor-Oriented approach to evaluating the effectiveness of climate adaptation projects. The concept of agency is central to this approach, highlighting the importance of local stakeholders' active participation, perspectives, and decision-making power in the design and implementation of climate adaptation projects. Methods: A case study of the GCF FP007 project in the Maldives. Based on reports from the UNDP, GCF, and the Maldivian Ministry of Environment, it assessed the extent to which the FP007 project can be considered effective.Findings: Our evaluation of the FP007 project reveals significant limitations in its effectiveness from an Actor-Oriented perspective. The project did not adequately address local stakeholder priorities, relied heavily on foreign consultants, and maintained a top-down approach, limiting local agency. Additionally, the project’s organizational structure and normative evaluation methods perpetuated external superiority and failed to fully incorporate and value local perspectives.

This master thesis in journalism investigates the trust building nature of civil OSINT-analysts conducting conflict reporting on Twitter through network analysis based on Twitter-quotes, retweets and mentions and a digital methodical and mixed methods framework. It connects crucial network characteristics with the qualities of five top-ranking OSINT-analysts through a qualitative content analysis, which is based on codes funded in both analytical observations and theoretical framework from the literature surrounding the OSINT-genre such as transparency, affective journalism, wisdom of crowds, forensic journalism and mechanical objectivity. The thesis discusses the link and difference between credibility and popularity, and it reflects on the significance of the OSINT-network’s trust building cultures even beyond the boundaries of Twitter. The thesis concludes that three typological qualities connect the findings of the qualitative content analysis and the central network capacities into three OSINT-idealtypes, the nerd, the supplier and the moderator. Through technical and interpretive skills, exclusive war visuals or a crowd-oriented approach, OSINT-analysts can, so the typology suggests, use different tools to gain credibility, which ultimately might hold perpetrators accountable in conflicts of misinformation, or at least contribute to an increased following in the attempt.

This thesis examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in promoting social innovation with a focus on the key characteristics of implementation. To investigate the contribution of AI in this process, the thesis uses a qualitative research method following an interpretivist and an adapted multiple case study approach. Insights from organizations such as Auticon, The Newsroom and Google help to analyze phenomenon of AI-assisted projects that serve the social good. The results show that artificial intelligence (with the help of humans) can foster collaboration, create social value, facilitate social innovation and offer solutions for social improvement in areas such as the environment, media, education or work. The work and the result should serve as a starting point to understand the potential Artificial Intelligence has for social innovation and social good.
